THE THEME
FIRE & ICE
While you don't have to dress according to the theme, it's totally up to you! The decorations, setting and feel for this year's Prom will be FIRE and ICE. Maybe you and your date scorch and sizzle with every step you both take; Only to leave flames in your tracks, dressed in the most hottest of hot styles and color schemes? Or maybe you're more cold to the touch? Was there once an icebox where your heart used to be, dressing in styles and color schemes bound to leave your peers breathing in your cold air? It's 100% up to you! Go crazy and have fun!
THE EVENT:
It's that time of year again! That's right, Prom season! Possibly the most LOVED (or HATED) social event of the school year Who's going with who? Who asked who? Who totally got denied!? We’re looking to bring all of the excitement (and drama,) that comes along with event and maybe through some powered mischief into the mix to liven things up!
Prom is all about the social interactions with your other peers. Maybe you could ask that one person you've been dreaming to go with all year? How about sending them a text in the communication section? Or why not do something BIG and really get their attention? Hey, Youtube videos are still the biggest thing and maybe you want the whole world to witness your proposal? (Also int he communication section). Then again, you could always toss the smartphone and laptop to the side and ask them face to face? You know, like how it was done before the 2000s?
As with most prom, eligibility goes to the upperclassmen. Seniors and juniors may attend this function uninvited. Freshman and sophomores, however, MUST be invited by a junior or senior to attend. But let's be honest, someone is going to crash the event. It wouldn't be prom without somebody attempting to rain on the parade of the social elite of the Bellefonte Academy. As always, the chaperons will definitely have their hands full.
Who's going to be Queen & King? Who's going to go stag with their girl and guy friends and proclaim that bringing a date is for losers (you're going to die alone, and possibly without any cats) Will you go to the official after party, or is somebody going to be rebellious and throw a kegger? It's time to kick off the Bellefonte Prom Season!
(This is optional to join)
Prom Court:
What better way to cap off your senior year gazed upon by all your peers with eyes full of admiration (or contempt,) and stand tall in front of them all? To a lesser degree, those of you juniors with high hopes can be crowned Prince or Princess of the Prom (but lets face it, all the spotlight is one the seniors. Enjoy your consolation prize.) And this year we have two new categories separately for the college students (Duke & Duchess)!
Prom Queen: Frank Cox
Prom King: François Laffont
Prom Prince: Quinn Wiley
Prom Princess: Lucy James
Prom Duchess: Erika Bellefonte
Prom Duke: Drew Conner
