PROM: Either The World Burns, Or It Freezes Over.

Even with the day growing towards the night, it was officially 7:30PM. A night that may have been the longest night ever for some or the shortest for others, it would still be a night to remember. Thanks to the Prom Committee and other Powers That Be, the Gymnasium had been spot on with the theme of Fire and Ice. It was a beautiful setting, almost amazing to see the two elements come into one. From firery lights and lamps, and decorated flames that would blow with air, to ice sculptures and walls detailed and decorated to resemble something like an ice kingdom. Not to mention the path to the gymnasium as well as the reception area and courtyard had a very detailed decor going on as well.

As for the DJ tonight, well, Amerie could say that she was somewhat surprised to be asked to spin the music for the event. Even while her name was somewhat popular, she didn't see herself attending prom this year or any year after high school, really. How could she refuse? She loved music, all kinds of music, and even had a great large playlist for 2015 prom that she knew everyone would enjoy and appreciate. Along with popular songs from last year and everyone's "prom favorites". It was also great to see everyone dressed as either fire or ice or neither.

As for her, she decided to abide by the theme and picked a gown that wasn't tight and she knew she'd be able to move back and forth from her laptop to the turntables. She didn't really see herself as the firey type, or hot for that matter but more so "cool". Her passion for music, however; fire. The little girl barely could see over everything but stood on a block she was given and grabbed the mic behind the DJ booth. It was time.

"I would like to welcome everyone to Bellefonte's Fire and Ice Prom of two-thousand and fifteen! The Prom Committee and Staff have put this all together just for your enjoyment, so make sure to thank them for their hard work. So they hope you enjoy, hope your night is one that you won't forget and hope that you stay safe. And please, try not to spike the punch and if you do, make sure Frank Cox does not get her hands on a cup." Amerie chuckled with a wink and smiled at the large crowd of people. "I'm Amee.I be your DJ for the night and if you have any song requests, you know how to reach me! Now, let's get this party started."

Ryan chuckled on hearing the DJ mention not letting Frank Cox near any alcohol. She could see that. The hyperactive girl probably wouldn't do too well. Ryan herself leaned against a wall with a smile. She was waiting for a song that appealed to her. Or someone who appealed to her. Either of the two. She had come to this prom stag after all. But looking around, she realized a lot of people were coupled up.

"Hmph. Slim pickings. DJ's cute though." Then she realized she was right next to the DJ stand.

"Oops. Well no big deal. It's loud enough in here. There's no way she heard me. In the meantime, I'm going to scope out to see if there's any girls in here that don't have billowy bottoms to their dresses and instead opted for tight ones to show off their nice butts."
