Prom was over. The music had stopped, the gymnasium cleared, the last moments of what was supposed to be a magical night for the students of Bellefonte had been etched into memory. There had been the usual helping of drama, exaggerated romance and terrible dancing. Thankfully, Spence hadn't needed to make use of his expertise, save for the sharp eye he had to keep out for any troublemakers. All in all, Corey Spencer's first prom experience wasn't wholly bad. It was nice to see the students able to get together and relax as the school year wound down.
The night was still relatively young and Spence found it surprised that he wasn't the least bit tired. It was well after midnight and he was still going strong. He looked out over the suddenly empty and desolate feeling gymnasium until his gaze settled upon a petite, redheaded young woman that brought out a faint smile. Crossing the room, the big man shrugged off the suit coat he'd manage to keep on the entire night without wanting to set himself on fire and tossed it over his shoulder for the time being.
"Another prom in the books." He said to Bell Connelly once he'd gotten close enough to speak without raising his voice. Bell happened to be the rare individual Spence truly felt relaxed around. He smiled down to the much shorter teacher as his hands found his pockets. "Is it always so... dramatic?" He asked with an amused chuckle. He certainly knew when mixing hormones, the expectations that came with the event and super powers it had been lucky the powder keg they called the gymnasium hadn't exploded. "After all this I think it's a good time to head into town and get a drink." He said, keeping his focus upon the young woman. "What do you say?"
