James is quiet character, rather reserved though once he warms up to someone he usually acts with warm intentions, which is extremely subtle but one can catch his intentions by how much he interacts with another. He likes to solve problems among people even if he doesn't talk to them that often, he does it in his own ways for example if a phone or laptop was broken he would fix it with without anyone even asking, or if homework is left lying around he would complete it while no one was looking and walk off so that the owner may find it possibly not knowing it was him. However on his exterior he is rather quiet and less sentimental, usually one to scold others. Oddly enough has has a certain vibe that he is not what he seems to be. He is still new to the academy so not a lot is known about him. His calculating and cold demeanor typically wards off others from interacting with him however it's entirely unintentional on his part. He merely seeks to be accepted however many flaws in his personality prevent him from doing so.

His ability is usually attributed to his personality, because of his extremely large brain people makes little sense of why he does things, bordering on what one would assume is crazy due to the fine line separating mad from genius. He would make for an interesting character to participate in some odd occurrences.

This is a new Character so it would be quite fun to see how he may interact with the other personalities in the academy.

Maybe it's just because I'm thinking heart meets brain here but Franck could welcome James to the school. He wouldn't mind the large-for-their-age age gap, he would be nice to him. Since he is an empath, he should be able to feel all those emotions James barely lets out or understands himself. He's also very tolerant so if you want an older, mature, somewhat emotional kind of Watson to this Holmes, Franck can occasionally play the part.

Hey Rad, Fate here. We've encountered each other before, and now it's my pleasure to bombard you with le plots.

What makes most sense to me is to try and put James with Demi. They're about the same age, yet about as different in personality as could be considered possible. Demi's pugnacious and on top of that doesn't really understand how the world around her works. She's been around for about a year now, but she could still likely learn from James, likely in the form of tutoring, and I could see a really intriguing relationship developing there.

I could also see an interesting relationship between James and
Zoe, if you were looking for someone who would nurture him and so forth. Zoe's a bit older, but she's also very kind and understanding and pretty well the opposite of everything I used when describing Demi above. Like what Bobby suggested above with Franck: she could work as a sort of gentle guide.

If you want to torture poor James, then Frank is probably your best bet. She's outgoing to the point of being outrageous, and would likely think that James desperately needs friends. She would, however, do her best to make sure that he was her friend at any and all cost.

Strangely, I could also see something between James and Humphries. The cat is self-serving, but he appreciates intelligence and would be a potential ally for James should they actually get along, and assuming James can get over the whole "is a cat" thing.

I've a small army of other chars, all of which have opens if you're interested: Elsa (the bitchy Bellefonte);Tim (blogger, activist and nerd); Charity (struggling trainer learning to be an adult);
Nico (stoic, disbelieving ex-criminal); Rob (flirtatious wandering minstrel). I can make threads with any of them if someone looks more interesting. Just lemme know and we can get this thing started!

Okay so... The first pairing that came to mind, simply because of both of them being exceptionally intelligent, I feel like throwing OLIVER at him could be potentially fun. Now, I have NO idea if these two would get along, but I think it could be a lot of fun to find out.

He could also potentially have interesting conversations with EVELYN, though that would depend entirely on whether or not she'd find him worth her time - which honestly doesn't happen very often. She's kind of a bitch >_>

There is also BETH if James ever find himself in need of a counselor or a social worker to talk to.

I have various other characters that might be interesting for you. There's my tomboy MAYA, who is generally cheerful and happy, TONY who is also new to the school and kind of a big flirt (not that James would have to worry about that, JULES, a non-powered local who is obsessed with mutants, LUX, the extremely awkward and flustered little thing that roams around, LUCY, the walking, talking and ticking timebomb of disaster and ERIKA, heir to the Bellefonte imperium and probably my nicest, most social character.

James and Erin:
I think these two should meet. Idk how it will go since Erin is well...Erin, but James is a guy and also a lot younger then her so it should not go too bad. She is pretty smart to but not likely as him with his ability so who knows how she will feel around him.
