For a moment, Oliver just stared at the piece of paper. It took him several seconds to convince himself to bend over and actually pick it up. Once he did though, it took him another bouts of seconds to convince himself not to open it and read it. Instead, his brown eyes lifted and scanned the area for whoever might have dropped it. Thankfully, it seemed as if that would be rather easy, seeing as how there was only one person nearby - and even if said person wasn't the right one, Oliver was hardly the type who was about to go on some damn scavenger hunt.
Sighing, he walked forward until he reached the boy. He reached out the hand holding the note over the boy's shoulder. "Did you drop this?" he asked, his other hand coming up to rub at the light scruff forming on his jawline. He didn't bother circling the boy and fully expected the boy to either turn around and say yes, or something similar, or shake his head and walk away.
Either way, Oliver wasn't about to put more effort into this than what he had already. He had far better things to do with his time - which usually revolved around watching people or sleeping.
Hey, he never said he had any important things to do. Simply better. And clearly, sleeping was far better than finding the owner of some stupid note no one really cared about to begin with. Probably.

James, felt the brush of Oliver's hand against his shoulder, holding the wad of paper, his hand reflexively darted and snatched the paper from Oliver's ,unwrapping and quickly reading it's contents. He folded the paper and set it between one of his books on his desk.
"Thank you." He responded, "This was a reminder, I appreciate your assistance." He stood up and turned to face Oliver, he studied him with a quick once over, "Male, approximate age late teens, body language determines a need to be elsewhere, disinterest in meaningless small talk, feet facing doorway...most likely anticipating sexual activity, common in adolescence." He paused as he turned back to his books, "My apologies, I won't disturb you." He once again resumed his state of obliviousness, focused on what he had been previously studying. The fact Oliver was probably still behind him didn't bother him all that much, because he forgot he was there.
James hadn't actually been doing much, one would notice various pages of elaborate scribbles half-done, probably due to his memory loss. He ended up folding paper planes and flying them about probably how Oliver found his note he forgot was a reminder. The reminder of course him having to resume his work, after reading it he naturally continued his work where he left off and odd system of working though this was almost a way of taking breaks.

Oliver's eyebrows raised at the boy's words. It wasn't at all what he'd expected to come out of the boy's mouth. In an instant, Oliver laughed. "Aren't you observant," he noted with a slightly tilt to his head. His brown eyes didn't leave the boy, though, he did take a step back to get a proper look at the other boy. For a moment, Oliver remained quiet as he etched the boy's face into his memory - just in case he'd ever need him for something - anything.
"Though, the sexual activity part isn't entirely correct," he drawled. "Though, I suppose 'sleeping' is close enough," he shrugged. Two entirely different things that often happened to involve one another. Still, he was surprised at how the boy carried himself. These kinds of people seemed to make people feel rather uncomfortable.
Oliver on the other hand couldn't help but to feel slightly more interested and a whole lot more curious.
