THE EVENT:
It's the new school year and that means it's time to move in and get started for classes! (Yay). It's time for new students to officially move in and get orientated toward Bellefonte Academy. Any students that have recently joined our school, whether you just got your gifts or you're a transfer or even entering college, now is the time for you to get your orientation and to experience the unique experience which is attending Bellefonte Academy!
There will be an official "move-in" day to help students move personal things into new dorms and other living quarters. The burly guys and gals of the various sports teams will be on hand to help do the heavy lifting. Refreshments made by the Happy Homemakers will be served by BA's own Helping Hands, who will also be on hand to lend their support. And all the while commemorative photos will be taken by photography club! And don't forget to meet your Student Council, appointed to help make your voice heard!
Then there's orientation activities and guides! Students who have been here for years will help you learn the campus and get to know the student body better! There's walkthroughs of classes, learning the campus, some practice sessions with your gifts, and even an outdoor movie (picked and ran by BA's own !
So it's time to get involved, and get started!
Here's a quick summary of what each club is doing:
Literally every sports team: wearing uniform and helping with the physical lifting
BA helping Hands is helping with physical moving and serving refreshments (and water bottles)
Happy Homemakers Home Ec: making and serving refreshments
Photography Club is making commemorative photos
Movie and Theatre Club will be picking and running the outdoor movie
Student Council will be answering questions and helping with orientation
If there are any questions, feel free to PM Fate, or any other staffers. If you'd like to have a special sub-event of your own (eg. art club fingerpainting or whatever), let us know and we'll set it up (or do it yourself, whichever).
