The idea of everyone gathering together to hangout near a large campfire tonight was a great idea, lovely thought. It really was. Though, Alessa didn't really want to take part in this trip just to be surrounded by everyone all the time. Everyday they had to share space within a large campus sized school, they even had cabin mates for the trip... So they'd have to excuse Alessa for wanting to step even if it was just for a few minutes.
Besides, there was something interesting about the outdoors. She wasn't much of a hiker or an explorer due to the fact that she didn't have a adventure bone in her body but she was a curious one. Hence why she grabbed a flashlight from her cabin and a root beer from the "campfire story time" and headed out towards more of the wooded area.
The grass could be heard underneath her boots as she went on but so far it wasn't bad. It kind of led her into her own thoughts of curiosities and wonders. Like, why isn't it possible to touch a tree and suddenly get a vision about it's first days growing.. you know, cool shit like that. Something that had to deal nature and the way the Earth worked. Something different. Which made her think...
"Oh! Maybe -" Alessa paused before quickly looking around and running towards the nearest tree. Only to touch it, close her eyes, and concentrate. "Yeah. Nothing." Opening her eyes, she made a not so pleased face. Obviously a stupid idea. Stepping away from it, she took a deep breath and leaned her back against it.

Jaxon left the campfire to have his own. Being around people was exhausting. He feft like he didn't know what do or what to say or really... how to act in general.
Anyways, he had had enough for the day. At least with the crowds and chaos for that matter. So, when they were all called to the campfire, Jaxon slipped away into the woods. He trudged for jut long enough to get out of hearing and sight distance before settling.
Under a huge boulder was a cave-like fixture that suited Jaxon's needs. Content, he telekinetic shot a blast of energy toward an old, dead tree. It fell over and shattered leaving Jaxon with some perfect fire wood. He grabbed as much as he could carry and tossed it all into a pile. Next to his pile laid some mulch which he grabbed to use as kindling to start it.
He pulled the lighter out of his pocket and lit the small twigs and moss until it caught. Jaxon gently placed it under the logs and he had a fire in not time.
...
In his little cave, the telekinetic laid back and watched the embers crackle and pop into the starry night sky.

Taking a deep breath, she pushed herself from the tree. She figured the night was still young and there had to be something interesting enough within these woods. Something way better than marshmallows and outplayed ghost stories.
So she walked, and in no specific direction either so there was a possibility she could get lost, if she decided to venture further away from the source of the social event. Something about the night was really peaceful, or may be it had been the woods. Just the lack of civilization probably made it so, sad to say. You just wouldn't get this kind of peace with people around.
There was, however, a sound coming from the distance... in front of her? She squinted her eyes as she looked around. Or maybe towards the south? Was that even the south? Yeah, pretty sure her sense of direction was all wrong. Though, while she moved towards the sounds, they had suddenly stopped which freaked her out just a bit. Okay a lot. "Hello?"
Aless moved around only to spot a fire... and some sort of boulder? "Anyone here?" She continued to ask, only to move around until she got a better look at what could possible be in that cave-like fixture.

Just as he was dozing off, the woman poked around the corner. Jaxon hung his head back in disappointment when he heard her words. He somewhat sat up and peered only to see the girl from the bus. He kind of perked up but was still wishing to relax in his cozy little place.
"Just me." He replied in a calm, soothing tone. The fire raged on and Jaxon stared into as he spoke. "Just out here getting away from it all. Searching for - " He broke out of his gaze and brought it back to the brunette like he'd decided something.
"- Bliss."

"Just me."
"Oh." Her arms dropped to her sides as she heard the familiar voice. Once she got a better look, the face matched. It was him... the one she shared a seat with on their ride here. Honestly, she expected someone different. She wasn't sure who but he just seemed like the type to flooded around girls.. or something. "Right..."
Her brown eyes glanced over at the fire before looking up into the night sky. "I mean, I totally get that. Kind of the reason why I left also..." She was still a bit confused. Did he make this fire himself? What was he, like planning on sleeping out here for the night?
She wouldn't call it "Bliss" per say, but she got the idea. "Scared me there for a second. Heard a noise and thought it was an animal. Didn't really expect anyone else to be out here." Her brows then furrowed out of curiosity. "You're just the last person I'd expect to bump into out here."

Seeing that Alessa wasn't leaving anytime soon, Jaxon laid back down up against the rock formation as he listened to her voice. He wasn't in the mood to talk but he was on his new friendly-diet. Jax knew it was probably strange for her to come out here and find him sitting alone next to a small fire he had made.
"I got cold." That was the furthest degree he was explaining himself at that point. She mentioned some relief about thinking there was an animal. He cracked a soft grin at that. "I'm no animal... Well - " He paused and looking up at her with a shrug and a smirk.
"I didn't really expect anyone either. I just get headaches from people I don't like or don't know. Just all the noise drives my insane." Jaxon sighed calmly and gazed back into the fire which was roaring larger, but low on wood. From his pile of extras, he focused and a log dragged across the ground, hovered over the fire for a second, and then dropped to start buying.
"This... this is my shit right here." He meant it. Sure it wasn't the most poised or graceful way the say it but... Anyway Jaxon had peace, he soaked every minute up.

She gave a nod, which made sense. It could get chilly out here and unless you were sitting next to a fire or in your cabin, you were kind of shit out of luck. The animal comment caused her to roll her eyes just a bit. She wasn't sure if they were on the same page with what he was referring to but she could've done without.
"That I can understand. I don't think our group is all that annoying but, there's really no point in grouping up all the time when we have so much to experience on our own." Or in Alessa's case, the woods, and nature... and stuff.
Chuckling, she crossed her arms. "Oh really? Mm..." Looking up at the sky, and their immediate surroundings. "Guess I can't disagree with that." She then looked down for a spot on the ground that was good enough to sit on. Sitting in the small setting with him would probably too crowded anyway. It was a bit nippy out but nothing serious or would cause her to want to leave and besides, he had a nice little fire going on anyway. So she sat on the ground, only to cross her legs in an Indian style as she switched her flash light off. "So how long were you expecting to stay out here?"

Jaxon raised his eyebrows at the girl with 'you're kidding me right?' written all across his face. The kids in there group were very annoying. It was undeniable. The high schoolers being the worst... For Jaxon atleast but he could hardly see it any other way.
"The freshmen." He said with a smirk yet an exasperated expression. It was more of a rhetorical suggest he knew she couldn't deny.
He appreciated her sarcasm, it made him crack a grin. "It was supposed to be obvious. Duh." He watched her carefully as she sat down across from him with her legs crossed. It was a bit unusual he had to admit. A girl sitting across from him, upright with her legs crossed like an Indian. He didn't mind it though, Jaxon was perfectly comfy.
She questioned him and he just scooted close to the fire. "Is there a time limit? You gonna make go back for lights out at ten an bedtime stories?" His words were playful, calm, and light hearted but it was really just his way of saying that he didn't know. Like most of the time, he was running off a whim.
