Sipping her drink, she rummaged through the bag for the bowl of soup and used one hand to take the lid off. Sighing, she shrugged at Serena's sentiment. She moved on to the next topic, which was inevitably their alma mater and she nodded when Serena mentioned Alice.
"Well, now that I'm back, you are getting out of your apartment. You'll run out of things to write about your apartment soon enough."

Serena chuckled at the other girl as she went about making her remedies for her recording. She stretched her arms back on the sofa and let out a small yawn, glancing around Liz's apartment a bit. It had been a while since she'd seen Alice actually, she should really make more of an effort to be a sister to the younger girl, she just was never sure if she was doing things right.
She leaned over and smirked at the other blonde. "Well, in my defense I work out of my apartment, so it's not like I'm just being socially reclusive or anything." She replied with a smile. "But yes, we should definitely go out and do stuff. I miss hanging out with you a lot, I've not had anybody to hang out with since me and Casey were going out in December." She chirped.

"Excuses." Elizabeth smirked before nodding when Serena finally agreed to go out with her. "Good. Once I'm better." She responded before coughing again. "Ugh, I'm sorry for all the coughing. You shouldn't even be here for this." She laughed before drinking more from her cup and starting on her soup.
"So what have you been working out of your apartment on?" Elizabeth asked, pulling her legs up and turning her attention to Serena.

The blonde smirked mischievously at Elizabeth. Images in her mind of the two of them hitting the clubs flicked through her mind. Yes, she wasn't a teenager or a young College student anymore, but that didn't mean she wasn't able to cut back with a friend occasionally and have some serious fun, once in a while at the very least. And Liz was the friend she'd like to do that with most.
Serena shook her head adamantly, "I don't mind at all. You shouldn't push yourself so hard though, how could you go about seducing the population of Kalispell with your voice if it gives out on you?" She asked, with a wink. "I'm kidding. But seriously, take it easy, I don't mind if you're ill or need to recuperate around me."
Serena took a breath in trying to think of a good explanation without sounding too self confident, or too nervous. "Well.... You remember I used to do all kinds of writing, poetry, that kinds of stuff while we were in school? Heck, I even confessed my feelings to a teenage crush via a silly poem." She admitted, laughing at her own memory.
"I got published. Well, under a Pseudonym. But the point is, It went pretty well. I'm just putting the finishing touches on the second book, but I've got a contract to make into a whole series." The part she didn't mention was that the first book, against all odds had hit the NYC best sellers list.
