Serena had been having quite a few busy months, she hadn't seen several friends in so long it was getting harder to remember to keep in touch with some. She's also spent the last month in pretty much a coma of writing, drinking tea, re writing and repeating the process over and over again to meet the deadline for her next manuscript. She'd finally finished, the thing printed out for an authentic read, binded together on her coffee table.
She'd yet to sleep, been up during the early hours of the morning putting the finishing touches on her manuscript, crawled into bed, not slept and then woken by an alarm. She needed to go and buy groceries, something she'd forgotten to do for too long, so she was pretty much out of anything, including her morning tea. Serena blinked gently, making sure it wasn't just tiredness getting to her, she saw a familiar blonde figure entering the building which her apartment was in. She sped up her walking, pulling her headphones out and sticking them into her pocket. She smirked at herself and walked quickly but gently up to the other girl, shifting her shopping bags to give her a swift but gentle tap on the shoulder, speaking before the other could fully turn around. "Excuse me! Sorry to bother you, I don't suppose you've seen a drop dead gorgeous talented blonde around here have you?" her face was her most genuine, enchanting and happy smile.
