"Hmmm...okay then. I don't exactly know you, but I'm totally up for it." Damn she was hot. He needed to focus. She was part of the security staff, right? Vira...Vera. That was it. Vera. He smirked, taking another swig of his beer. Yes, he wasn't exactly legal, but it was only off by a year so really it wasn't that bad.
"Okay, you twisted my arm. Truth or dare?"

Roxana didn't mind being held onto the way that Lux was holding her arm; it made her happy in some odd way. She didn't fully understand it but she really did care about Lux and wanted to look out for the girl. She had that same relationship with Elsa and Ellen, but Lux was the only one that actually acted like she was close to Roxana. Not that she minded that the others didn't, they all had different personalities after all. "Do you want to go inside?" Roxana asked back. She didn’t really want to go inside, she was fine standing back and just watching for a little bit.
It was pretty clear that Lux did want to go in, but it also seemed pretty clear that she was not going to be letting go of her arm. Roxana was fine not having a little fun, especially if that meant she would not have to risk being pulled into the game. She had played it before but she didn't really see it as fun. She always had to pick dare since she could not risk being asked a truth she could not tell the truth on. Then the dares were always...odd as well, but those thoughts were in the back of her mine now. Lux suggested that they should go inside and even asked Rox to go in with her. As if she could say no to that face? Why did Lux have this power over her?
"...okay." Roxana said after a moment of looking at Lux. She patted the girls around that was wrapped around hers, and then started to walk in. She still kept her distance from the main group that was playing the game, but at least they were in there and closer. She was just here for Lux, because the girl had asked her to and because she was checking in on her targets.

Well , this was rather fun wasn’t it. Yelling, screaming. Ill-advised touching in all it’s splendour. Who could ask for anything more then that.
Jack looked on at the on going scene with a fair amount of amusement laughing at the embarrassed face of Sam, the dare ideas of Miss Frank Cox and the general devilment of it all. Truly this was a golden time for Jack
In fact the only thing that appeared to ruin his mood was just walking through the door right now.
Lux
Well that wiped the smile off his face…
No, no no no no Jack thought over and over again in his head. This would not stand did she not know what on here! Luxanna was in a room with hyperactive drunk teenagers looking to humiliate each other any way they could. Oh God, the potential embarrassment for Luxanna…They could tell her to strip off her clothes…Tell embarrassing secrets.
Make out with someone…..
Suddenly what Frank was doing to Sam wasn’t so funny.
Quick as a flash Jack jumped to his feet and ran over to where Luxanna where she was being held by some blond woman.
A stranger.
There was so many questions going through Jack’s mind. Who was this woman? Why were you holding her arm? If you wanted to come why didn’t you tag along with Jack? WHY are you here? Bad things go on here. Terrible awful things, that weren’t meant for the likes of Lux.
But Jack held back his growing unease and walked over and approached Lux with an forced smile trying to mask his feelings on subjects! “Hey you! Didn’t know you were coming this way. If I did I would have walked you in, How are you feeling? Better? worse. You need me to get you anything? A drink?”
Jack looked pass Lux and frowned at the mysterious girl who had walked Luxanna in “Sooo, who is she? I mean not that I care but I clearly don’t. I’m totally cool with you. Walked in with a complete stranger…arms into locked…close to each other it’s great. G-Go you.”
Jack face was really starting to hurt with his fake smile
“Listen, just so you know, if you asked to do something you don’t feel comfortable doing I’ll be more then happy to bite the bullet. Just these things can get a little rowdy”

So while Becky went to go do her dare, it seemed as if Eri would throw one at Beau (as if she wasn't waiting for this). Beau seemed so much more conservative than the rest of them and was probably the reason why Vera was more than interested to know what he'd pick and exactly what Erika would give him because of it. She didn't really look to see that a few more people came along; Like Erika's other half as well as Roxana and that one chick who everyone seemed to like so much, but damn was her arm tired from waiting for her beer that she clearly asked Cade to toss at her.
The telekinetic furrowed her brows at Cade, "Not the game you nitwit, a beer. You know... like the one you're enjoying right now? Sheesh." Of course by now she rolled her eyes and with that raised her arm again around the same time a beer telekinetically flew to her as she caught it. Apparently she'd have to get it herself, but she'd be damned if she had to get up.
Vera cracked it open with a bit of sass, "Want something done, you gotta do it yourself." Either way, she wasn't ready to give out a truth or dare or to get one. She wanted to see what would happen with everyone else first. Thank God Riley hadn't shown up yet, who knows what could happen with that.

Beau took another pull of his beer just as Becky left. He felt sorry for the girl and was half considering following her to see if he could help or anything. Wasn't like there was going to be anything exciting happening around...
...and Erika started talking. Beau looked over at her, taking note of the fact that her husband had sneaked in at some point and was hiding behind her. Beau raised his bottle in salute of the guy. Wasn't like they hadn't met before or bonded or anything. Of course, Erika wouldn't let them really catch up, as instead she decided to continue the game without Becky there. Beau supposed that was her prerogative, given that she was the one responsible for this shindig.
He just smiled and took another pull, tempted to just say this was his drink and pass. However, that didn't feel quite in the spirit of the game. So instead Beau gave Erika a lazy smile and responded: "Truth," then moved to set his bottle down, "so hit me with your worst, Eri."

When Jack called Tim, he knew something was up. Jack didn't call Tim except for two reasons: to prank him with some sort of idiotic idea or joke, or because something was happening to Lux. As Tim had figured, the latter certainly happened, as Jack sent something of a "Code Orange". Tim was fairly certain that they'd never actually established any code, but that didn't change the situation: Lux was with some stranger and, more dangerously getting close to a game of truth or dare.
And now Tim was wishing that he'd agreed to put rockets on his wheelchair.
But no, instead he'd opted for a manual one and a pair of those fingerless leather gloves. So Tim had to roll himself into the Student Lounge which was, at least, not that far from his dorm, where he'd been when he'd gotten the call. Still, Tim was panting by the time he wheeled himself into the room. He was already looking around, trying to find Lux or, failing that, Jack. he saw what appeared to be a slightly stripped Frank Cox, which was never a good sign, and a smug looking Erika Bellefonte-King, which also didn't bode well.
Grumbling, Tim shifted to try and get his phone, figuring he'd have to text someone to get proper directions.

She was glad that Beau decided to play along, and not chicken out. Though, she hadn't really expected him to -- out of all the people here. Tapping her bottom lip with the tip of her index finger, Erika pondered what she should ask him. There was plenty of things she could have picked, but she wanted to pick something that would at the very least cause a few eyebrows to be raised, and something a little outside the box. Sure, there was always the sexual questions, though, people probably expected that, so that was not as fun...
...unless she of course made some sick twist on it. Which was exactly what the brunette was planning on doing too.
"Hmm," she began, pursing her lips as she lowered her hands to take another swig of her beer before putting the beer can down and placing her hands in Everett's, interlocking their fingers. Clearing her throat, as if demanding everyone's attention, she continued.
"Liz has been magically transformed into an animal, and the only way to restore her back to human, is to mate with her. Here's the question though; which animal would cause you the least psychological damage?" she asked, tilting her head curiously to the side as she gave Beau her full attention.

Beau spent several long, silent moments just staring at Erika, as he reckoned that nearly everyone else there did. Well, everyone except for maybe Frank Cox, who had collapsed in a fit of giggles that were likely to end with her paralyzed for an extended period of time. Beau just kept staring, then reached over and took a pull of his drink, quietly setting it down.
"Well," he said, smacking his lips, "I don't reckon that's a question I've spent a lotta time ponderin' afore now," he shifted, tapping his hand against his leg and thinking. He scrunched up his face to the extent that he was leaving only one eye open. "Does a unicorn count? 'cuz I'm thinkin' that might be the best bet. If that don't, I'm goin' with a kangaroo. Seems like a good match for Liz anyway."
Beau paused, then nodded. "Yep, that seems 'bout right. That work for you?" he looked at Eri, his eyebrows raised and a smile spreading on his face.

As Beau stared at her for those long moments, Erika started back. Hey, she wasn't going to be all bark and no bite. She had told him he was her next victim, and she had kept her word too. Either way, she continued watching Beau as she waited for him to answer; she wasn't really sure what she expected him to answer, but either way, she figured it was gonna be hella good.
"No, unicorns does not count," she said, smacking the tip of her tongue against the back of her teeth. Kangaroo. Ironically, she could actually picture Liz as a kangaroo, which just made the entire picture of it all the more amusing.
"Aye, fine by me," she replied, grinning from ear to ear as she took another swig of the beer. "Alright, the floor's all yours, Beau. Make it count," she winked at him, though the vicious smile never fell from her lips.
Post by Beau LaRoux on Feb 7, 2015 21:38:39 GMT -6
Nah, it didn't really bother Beau that he was the next victim. He'd shown up, so he should expect to play after all. It also didn't really surprise or bother him that Erika didn't take his first answer, insisting that unicorns didn't count. He was tempted to joke about elves or something then, but it seemed like the kangaroo answer fit fairly well. Though Beau was going to have a fun time explaining that one to Liz when she got back.
It worked, making it Beau's turn. he nodded, and while he didn't figure he'd "make it count" in a vicious way, since that wasn't in him, he figured he could at least make it count in another way. He'd scanned the crowd earlier, seeing several familiar faces: the kind of people you expected to show up at this: Jack and Frank and Erika and Everett and all. He'd also seen a few others, Roxana being the biggest surprise really. But he'd also noticed someone he'd run into a while ago.
"Hey, Cassidy!" Beau called, waving at the young man. "Cassidy, you're here, so you're in the game now. Folks," he turned to the crowd, pointing with a free hand at the young man, "this here is Cassidy Laramie. Nice guy. Gave me the money for Liz's engagement ring," Beau raised his can in salute and toast, then grinned, "an' now I'm payin' him back by tellin' him it's his turn to pick: truth or dare."
Post by Cassidy Laramie on Feb 7, 2015 21:53:54 GMT -6
Cassidy sipped his soda, watching the madness unfold. He wasn't sure what to make of the question about animals and mating; he almost felt bad for Beau, having to answer something so wacky and gross. Until of course, Beau decided to single him out for the next question, and Cassidy shank into himself under the sudden attention from all the people at once, feeling like he was back home again, though thankfully there were less cameras involved. He may love friends and interacting with people, but that was more on a one-on-one basis, not crowds.
"...you could've left the money part out..." he mumbled somewhat inaudibly in embarrassment. It wasn't something he particularly wanted to flaunt, after all. Still, he wasn't going to chicken out of the game, that'd be no fun. But, which one should he pick? His indecision came back in full force as he pondered which one would be the lesser of two evils. Ordinarily he'd just go with Truth, considering most people didn't know anything about him. But this was Beau, someone Cassidy actually knew, and he was scared of what he could possibly ask him. Dare was equally risky, considering the other dares that had already been asked.
Finally, with a great amount of trepidation, Cassidy answered, "Dare." Maybe it'd be something easy, although that was definitely wishful thinking.

Cade heard the woman amend her statement and he immediately felt like an idiot. Then she used telekinesis to get herself one.
"For what it's worth, I was going near the ones in bottles and tossing you one probably wouldn't have been the best idea anyways. Besides, if you can get it with telekinesis what did you need me for? You never need to ask someone to shut off the light switch, or to get the remote or...damn I wish I had your power." Under the guise of talking to someone who actually talked back, Cade went and sat next to her.

Beau had been aiming more to paint Cassidy generously. The whole money thing had been more of a side effect, and one that the good-natured Southerner didn't even seem to really be aware of. He nodded and kept smiling, waiting while Cassidy got situated and worked through things. Truth or dare; Beau kinda wondered about it. he also felt kinda bad about drinking around the kid, seeing as Cassidy had to be a few years younger than Beau, and even Beau was under the limit.
So Beau kept his drink down and his attention focused. At last Cassidy spoke, and as he did, Beau nodded. "Brave man. Figure that a brave guy like you outta be able to do somethin' pretty gutsy. I ain't got Frank's imagination or nothin' though, so I'm gonna stick with the classics."
Beau waited a beat, then nodded and pointed at Cassidy. "You gotta find the prettiest girl in the room an' give her a nice, big kiss," Beau tapped his lips, "an' it's gotta be right on the lips, otherwise it don't count," Beau smiled then, leaning back and looking around. He also edged away from Erika; you know, just to be safe.

Olivia could be fairly shy sometimes, but this was not one of those times. Kind of. She walked over to the table and grabbed a beer and took a sip. Yes, she was only seventeen years old but this was a game of Truth or Dare and Olivia was determined to watch at least. She'd gone for comfy clothes this time. If she didn't have to wear her uniform, she was going to seize the chance to wear the outfit she was most comfortable in. It being comfy made her feel more confident and happy. She leaned against a nearby wall with a smile as the guy told poor Cassidy he had to find the prettiest girl in the room and kiss her. She had to stifle a giggle. Poor Cassidy. She downed the beer. And although she had better tolerance than some, her lips were still a little loosened.
"That really isn't very fair. No matter who he kisses, there's going to be a girl who's surprised by his choice. Or even offended. Regardless, continue. It'll be fun to see emotion boy all nervous." She chuckled. She was just chilling.

Cassidy stared at Beau, deadpan and unamused. Seriously, he had to go kiss some girl? Gross, he didn't want cooties. Besides, how was he supposed to judge the prettiest girl? He supposed they were all attractive in their own ways, so really there was no way for him to know which was the best looking. Plus, it looked like a lot of them were off limits; Erika was with her King so she was definitely off limits. She'd probably had so many people wish she wasn't taken to win an award for that by now. And he didn't even know what was going on over by the door, some guy seemed jealous over those two girls and there was a guy in a wheelchair trying to figure it out. Not to mention he was pretty sure most of them were in college so that age gap was making him pretty uncomfortable about trying to kiss any of them.
Finally he spotted someone he actually knew, getting a beer fairly close to him. Well if it wasn't Olivia Chance, Water Manipulator and Savior of Mood Necklaces! Glad to know she thought his emotional turmoil and awkwardness was entertaining. Well if she was gonna taunt him like that, not to mention calling him "emotion boy", she should be prepared for retaliation. He set down his soda and walked over to her, raising an eyebrow challengingly.
"Surprised or offended huh?" he asked, and a smirk grew on his face. "Which one are you then?" he asked slyly, tilting his head and leaning in to kiss her. Thankfully, he had kissed a girl before, which would likely be a shock to everyone he met. Of course, his dad ended up firing her dad and it all fell apart from there, but it still counted. No matter how badly this went, it still beat having to awkwardly ask some random girl to kiss him.
