POWER INFO: Crystal Manipulation
The power to create and control crystals on many different levels; from the shape, sharpness, size, density, and color of the crystals. The crystals generate from either the left or right hand, both hands required to create or cover larger objects. She has the ability to create small crystal daggers in each hand only as long and thick as a number two pencil, but does not have to make them that size. With just one hand she can create something only as big as her fist. In terms of density she can make the crystal hollow on the inside, full of tiny crystals, or even layer of crystals. With already existing crystals she can manipulate them as well, but it requires two hands and takes more energy.
Crystal objects that she created or are already in existence can be repaired by her, but again it requires two hands and more energy. Changing how sharp, dull, or smooth a crystal object is only requires one hand and take only a few seconds to do. With this ability she can also cover things from object to living creatures in crystal, this includes humans. With the ability she is ideal for offenses and defense, able to even coat herself in a crystal layer for protection. They crystals spread the longer she had contact and is focused on doing so. The color of the crystals she creates tends to be of a white/clear color, but she is able to turn them into pretty much any color possible, and even able to do glow in the dark green.
Limitations:
-Can’t use her powers at all for 24 hours on the day of a full moon (her hair goes black).
-The crystal daggers she creates and uses as a weapon can be thrown at the right she is humanly possible to throw them at. (so no sadly she can’t throw them hard or fast enough that they will puncture steal or an armored vehicle, but a body in the right amount of distance will make a nice Swiss cheese target).
-Can only create/control with her hands.
-Needs to use two hands to manipulate already existing crystals and it uses a lot more energy.
-Needs to be two hands in order to cover something in crystal, the longer the contact the more it spreads, but also requires more energy.
-Repairing existing crystals requires two hands.
-The longer she uses her power her hair starts to turn black, until it is fully black and she can’t use her powers for a full 24 hours.
-Certain sound waves/frequency can cause the crystal to crack and really high ones make it difficult for her to form crystals.
-When covering herself with crystals for armor, it still had the same limit rule for remaining on her body, however, unlike when on others it does not turn into dry mud but instead shatters, which runs the risk of her cutting herself.
-The Crystallization part of her power only last a certain amount of time, the smaller the object the longer it last, whereas the bigger the object the less it last. The time for covering living objects is also affected by the size scale but cut in half due to the living creature’s body in constant movement. Which after the crystal covering said body or object turns to dried mud, which is a thin layer so easy to brush and break off.(Example being she could cover a rock in crystals and it would stay like that for a good thirty minutes, where as if she covered a 8” Bull Frog it would remain like that for fifteen minutes at max).
GENERAL APPEARANCE:
Short cut white fluffy and soft hair would be the first thing someone would notices about Roxana when they first see her. Her hair color the result of her power and when she can’t use it turns to a jet black color. Next someone should notices her eyes, how light blue and almost grey in appearance and if you stare at them long enough and look closely you will see a hint of a dull amber or green near her pupil, but you have to be really close to see that. Standing at around five foot eight with a very lanky and skinny build you would not think she is much of a threat, except for the small level of tone to her body do her training and black belt status. Her skin is very pale, almost ghost or snow like, with a very smooth and soft texture.
MUST HAVE APPAREL:
Roxana will pretty much wear anything so long as it covers her personal areas in the ‘downstairs’ area of her body. She sometimes will go without a top but that more so when she is completely alone and it’s rare, so not really important. So she can be dressed really girly, neutral, or like a total guy, all depends on what she fills like tossing on when she wakes up and what she will be doing. What is important is she loves leather jackets, she owns a ton of them from different colors, designs, buttons, spikes, etc. She also likes hats, just because she likes to have another method to play with her hair with. Due to her like of jewelry she wears earing from time to time and even certain articles of clothing will have fur on them. An absolute must that Roxana has pretty much on all the time is a collar or some form of a chocker. Her favorite collar being a very think leather one with a sort of padlock system in the front, that she has to use a key to unlock/take it off.
PERSONALITY:
If Roxana has been assigned a job or mission, she will do whatever in her power to make sure that mission is successful. When in work mode she is very serious, calculated, and harsh. She will say whatever and do whatever she has to no matter how mean or cruel it might seem. Since at the end of the day she is judged on how the mission ends and not the process in-between it. Yes there are exceptions depending on the requirements and restraints she is informed of in relation to her missions, but nothing is specified she takes in to what she thinks is the quickest and logical route to take. Do to her drive to get her job done to the best and most ideal situation, she works hard in her various training and school work. To fail is not accepted in her family and therefore she works extra hard to maintain all As in her classes and to impress or at least get good marks in her training in her powers and body guard training.
Roxana is not all work and no play however, if she is not doing school work, training, or on a pressing job she likes to have a lot of fun. She likes to put on makeup, wear all kinds of earrings, and not to forget about the jewelry; which is mostly earring and a few bracelets or rings here and there. She likes to go to anywhere she can hear music playing, being a very big music lover. She often had headphone in and can be found around singing when she is by herself. With having to always be at her very best in school she tends to have a bit of a rebel side where she likes to commit small crimes, from spray paint/graffiti things and pickpocketing people, which she has gotten really good at. She is very artistic and uses her powers to create crystal art, but she also greatly enjoys painting, and appreciates most forms of art.
When dealing with other peoples, she is not really a very talkative person unless she has to be, since she does not like silence between her and someone that is around her and started up a conversation. When she is on a ‘job’ she is likely not to talk at all or sound very irked unless the mission requires her to be interactive and friendly. She does in fact like to be around people, just prefers to be talked to and giving sort replies back. This is not always the case for sometimes she is really in a good mood, especially when it comes to art or when she is doing well in something. In other words complements are the way to get her to open up. She tends to be a bit blunt which can make her seem rude or uncaring; and when she is on the job she tends to really feel that way, however in normal interactions she tries to watch her tone, unless someone does really not seem to put effort into an interaction.

CHILDHOOD: Being born into the Strix family means that you automatically will grow up being trained on how to be a body guard from the moment you are age five. This has applied to all Strix children no matter their gender for generations in a family that has had long ties to protecting those who have power. Even spouses had to have some form of training and had to be a black belt, Gavril meeting all of the requirements for the Strix family, which was good for Adela who loved him so. The two going on to have three children, the last being Roxana with a two older sister by the name of Carmen, and a four year older brother by the name of Vlad. All the siblings being pretty close in age grew up pretty close with one another. Having that special bond between them for when it came time for training, taught to make each other better but also to not hold back and reach their full skill level. Every member having black hair and blue eyes, a very strong trait in the Strix blood line, and even timing to have all their children in the winter season; believing it made the children tougher.
It certainly did make the children stronger, even if Vlad and Roxana both got deeply ill in their earlier stages of growing, they managed to survive and grow strong from it. Even with Roxana being the youngest her older siblings didn’t give her any special treatment and they all treated one another pretty fair. The siblings working together to keep one another’s grades up in school as well as hone their training skills. Knowing that if one of them got a bad grade or fell behind they would all be punished; even if the offended would be punished even more. They were all still a team, each having to obtain a black belt by the age eight and no later, grades always having to be straight As. It was a very stick living environment, but that to her older siblings Roxana was able to not fall too far behind. Having received a few beatings here and there and some night without dinner, but all and all kept up and met the stern Strix standards.
The balance in the family seemed to shift a little her older sister Carmen came into her powers; apparently their father had carried over some mutant gene. At least the Strix family blamed him since their family line had never had any mutants show up. At first there was mixed feelings, but with Carmen’s power being able to create armored skin that basically was almost indestructible. The Strix family seeing this as a great boon for their jobs figuring that with time and honing in their skills that their eldest girl could be great. Carmen came into her powers while they were in the England, so she was sent to St. Bethany. This made Roxana and Vlad have to step up their game and fall under more stern rules since they were not oh so special like Carmen was, and with their sister no longer at home with them, a small rift formed between the two other siblings and Carmen.
ADOLESCENCE: Roxana fell behind as her older brother Vlad came into his powers soon after while the family was in Romania. Leaving Roxana to have to deal with the brute knowledge that she was now the weakest link out of the siblings. With her brother able to have really amazing sills in all forms of weapons from putting them together and using them. Her training got harsher and the punishments grew harsher with any failure that the youngest of the Strix family experienced. Being pretty much alone outside of the family owl by the name of Delta. Who the family had special clearances to own and pretty much was Roxana’s only friend during the time while her siblings where away. She feared that the rift would now become between her and her older brother.
However when she turned fifteen her powers awakened in full blast on a full moon when she was fifteen years old. By full blast meaning completely out of control, filling practically their entire house with sharp crystal structures and by the end of it her hair had turned complexly white and she was unable to use her powers ever again on the day of a full moon for the full twenty four hours. Which is also when her hair will turn back to its natural black color. She too came into her powers while the family was in Romania so she ended up going to St. Cadou. Where now she was able to see her older brother for a little before he was able to go off on his own once her graduated. She took up art and finding that she really loved music, it becoming something of a passion for her in her solitude.
