THIS LITTLE GAME OF MINE - Our fearless leader, Mel, has announced a casual, AU chat RP to take place in the coming weeks. Members who are interested to see what Mel, Robbo and the rest of the staff helping out can come up with are encouraged to drop a post in this thread or send any questions/comments to Mel or Robbo themselves. Don't be left behind in what promises to be a wild ride!

MEMBER NEWS - We'd like to wish our very own Femme * , Trick (Everett King ), Raz * , and Trix (Layla Harlow ) quick returns from their hectic offline lives. The site just isn't the same with you guys not around as often as usual and hope you return to us soon. Likewise, we'd like to wish everyone a very happy New Year (even if we are a bit late). With the holidays finally behind us we're looking forward to a clean slate and some fresh, new characters and riveting stories to tell!

OPEN THREADS - As always, the staff would like to offer a friendly reminder to anyone looking to start something unexpected to keep an eye on the open thread directory. It's a great place to get new characters involved or throw established characters into unexpected situations. Also, don't forget to post any of your own open threads in the directory so they can be seen by our other members!

A NEW HOME - For those of you keeping tabs on one of the most unlikely of romances to spring up in recent memory, Cassie Stryker and Lupe Silvestre have taken a big step in their relationship and moved in together. To take things even further, Cassie presented her 'mate' with none other than a new puppy, as well. For more details and to read more of these two and their exploits, hop over to this thread and give it a read.
WHO'S SISTER? - It seems as though the family of Ellen Banks is larger than we thought. Audiences were shocked when a simple knock at the door of Ellen's apartment resulted in a bombshell being dropped. On the other side was none other than Pan Banks , Ellen's long lost sister. Okay, so she hadn't been 'lost' per se but we didn't expect her to suddenly come back around and attempt to make amends with the younger sister she'd left years ago. Pan has also happened upon Ellen's quiet, and reserved 'roommate', Ashley Benson and struck up something of a conversation. We all know the Banks family is as volatile as they come. No matter how cheerful and happy Pan seems to be, it remains to be seen if Ellen will be able to welcome her big sister home.
RISING TENSION - The streets of Kalispell recently became the scene of a horrific, violent crime. Off duty Kalispell Police Department officer, Levi Alexander Wolfe , was walking a friend, Alexandra Lawson , home from her work at The Silverlight nightclub when a truck sped by. An unknown man threw what appeared to be a brick from the bed of the speeding vehicle which struck Alex in the head, nearly killing her. Thanks to Levi's quick action, as well as the rapid response of the Kalispell Fire Department emergency medical services, Alex was kept alive long enough for Dr. Jason Campbell to reach the victim and save her life through the use of his mutant power.
The police investigation is ongoing, though no suspects have been named.
DRASTIC MEASURES - On a lighter note, Lola Green has enacted one of the more humorous plans to get company. By calling the Kalispell Police Department to report a break in, Levi Alexander Wolfe responded only to find a lonely woman looking for someone to socialize with. We won't spoil whether or not The Granny of BA's little ploy worked, but it's certainly worth a read.
