Cassidy had bought a house. Hey, she was an heiress. Her dad had the money, but he didn't have the time to care what she did with it. She was being a lot more responsible than she could have been. Cassidy smiled as she ran her hand along the wooden beam holding up the entrance's porch. She was waiting for Lupe. Lupe was moving in with her. Just the thought made Cassie feel warm inside. She grinned, sitting down on the step. A ranch. She'd bought a ranch. She'd toyed with just getting a fancy house, but she realized that Lupe would be happy for the extra room most likely. She couldn't have her old pack, but she could have freedom.

Freedom.
Yes, Lupe certainly liked that. She wasn't with her old pack but at least she could finally get away from those other damn humans and that infernal academy. She would live with her mate instead. Honestly, Lupe would've been happy anywhere so long as she was with Cassie. However when they first arrived, Lupe stared around in wonder.
It was so....open. There wasn't another human dwelling in view no matter which way she turned to check. They had isolated themselves. And as she looked around, she realized they had so much land. So much earth for Lupe to simply run when she felt like it. It was.... Beautiful.
Smiling, Lupe finally looked up at the den itself. It was very nice, even Lupe could tell. And she and Casie would be sharing it. That was the best part, to be honest. So Lupe glanced down at her mate and swiftly approached, dropping her two bags to wrap Cassie up in a warm hug. "It's beautiful Cassie." She said, kissing the other girl and beaming happily. "It'll keep up far from the other humans as well. And there's so much land." She added, looking around again.

Cassie watched her mate look in and take in the view and just smiled. Then Lupe looked at her and Cassie blushed ever so slightly realizing she'd just been caught watching her mate. It was a little bit embarrassing even if she knew Lupe probably wouldn't mind. But it was kind of like watching someone sleep. Even if they fell asleep in your lap, you'd still be embarrassed if they knew you were looking at them. She thought that was probably a mutual feeling, and universal too. Lupe commented on the amount of land and Cassie nodded.
"I thought you might like that. I was fine with either, but if I'm going to spend my dad's money might as well use it to get something that's going to help us be happier." She smiled. First nice thing her dad had done, directly or indirectly.

Cassie had been staring yet again. Lupe had noticed her mate really enjoyed doing that when she believed the wolf girl didn't notice. Truth was: Lupe was getting even better at detecting when Cassie, or anyone else for that matter, was staring or looking at her. With how much Cassie did it, it was very easy for Lupe to identify the feeling of being watched. So as Lupe went forward to snuggle against Cassie, she also added; "You were staring again." She said it more playfully then anything. Cassie was always embarrassed when she got caught, but Lupe was never angry. Amused more than anything.
Lupe hummed and nodded. She remembered Cassie mentioning her human father. Lupe had not been impressed. Therefore this was entirely alright to do in her own mine. "Good. Does it have a name, our den?" Lupe asked curiously, once again looking around. Humans tended to name their shelters she had noticed.

Cassie reddened when Lupe said how she'd be staring. But it was playful enough that the blush was accompanied by a small smile. She heard the hum as Lupe was snuggled against her and the smile widened. She loved that Lupe was at ease enough for the little actions to slip out. And then Lupe asked if it had a name and she hmmmed for a moment before answering.
"I guess...not really. Unless it's an address but I don't think that's it. It is called a ranch, but nothing more currently. Just...our house. Have you got a name for it?"

Lupe snuggles happily against her mate, glad to see her smile. She listened intently while Cassie spoke, resting her chin on her mate's shoulder. This shelter had its own title. A ranch. Although the feral girl would not complain, since it belonged to her and her mate. Did Lupe have a name for their 'ranch?' She thought for a time. Naming something? Hmmm... It wasn't something she did. She hated how humans labeled everything. But something that was not only hers but Cassie's as well?
"I do not. Usually humans enjoy labeling and naming things. Although just this once..... Perhaps I could try if you would like." She offered, glancing up at their home. "But...would you help me?" She asked too, looking back at Cassie with a soft smile.

"Well we don't HAVE to label it either. But it is our home and normally I don't label things either but..." She blushed.
"It's special." Okay she was officially turning into a giant SAP. COME ON, SPECIAL. She mentally berated herself a little before giving a small sigh at herself and smirking when Lupe asked for suggestions.
"I'm tempted to say Batcave but that would just be ridiculous." She chuckled. Lupe probably wouldn't get it but that was fine it was funny to her.
"Well what's it called when mates find a den together? Is there a word for that?"

Lupe smiled at that, nuzzling Cassie happily. "I don't normally label things either, but you are right, this is special." It was their den. Of course it was special. It would need a special name of that was the case. Lupe was already thinking of one when Cassie mentioned the batcave.
She didn't et it, but Cassie obviously found it funny. She was about to ask why when Cassie asked her question. Lupe paused, thinking before shaking her head. "Usually it's just their den. So it needs a name." She stated before thinking again. Finally she thought of one.

Blue Moon Ranch. She tossed it around in her head. Once in a blue moon something like Lupe and herself happened...she found it perfect.
"I like it. I always liked the colour blue. And the moon." It said 'wolf' subtly. But hey, the full moon was also seen widely as being really romantic so there was that aspect as well. She smiled, leaning into her lover's touch. Then she remembered something and stood up.
"Follow me." With that, she walked into the house backwards with a playful grin.

Lupe kept quiet while her mate considered the name. Lupe honestly had put the name together just out of scraps floating in her head. She had heard the term "Blue moon" before once in passing. Someone had been singing it? Lupe couldn't exactly remember, but it had stuck. And luckily too; Cassie seemed to like it. Lupe smiled in response, nuzzling the brunette happily. "Good." She said simply. She was content to stay like that for a while, but then Cassie got up.
Something was up, Lupe could tell. But from the playfulness of Cassie's expression, perhaps it wouldn't be bad? The feral girl was caught in curiosity as she got up and followed after her mate with a befuddled expression. She had no idea what Cassie was planning, but she trusted her mate that it would be good- or at least something human that Cassie thought was good. Lupe would accept it either way.

Lupe was following her. Good. Cassie grinned as she walked through the house. She came to the bedroom and while that was very tempting, she continued to the little wooden balcony adjoining the bedroom, opening the door. Immediately she heard a small whine and the puppy came bounding, tripping over his own little feet.
She turned to Lupe.
"I thought you might appreciate a pack member who was...well at least a dog. There was someone in town and there was a dog who escaped and mated with a female. And I found out and thought...well..." She rubbed the back of her neck a bit sheepishly. She didn't know how Lupe would react. She was feeling sort of uncertain.

As they walked through their new den, Lupe had to look around. Even for a human dwelling, Lupe had to admit she was impressed. The smell of the place seemed to resemble the woods she loved far more than the human scent she had regretfully gotten used to. This was her new home though. So that human scent would eventually fade the longer Lupe and Cassie stayed. Although the moment Cassie opened the door, Lupe's thoughts were broken by the swift tapping of tiny feet on the ground.
Lupe immediately froze, staring down at the little furry pup as she vaguely heard Cassie speak. A few seconds passed before Lupe thumped onto the floor and gathered the little pup in her arms, nuzzling it and letting the little thing lick her. Cassie had gotten the little thing for her? Lupe let out a happy coo as she held her new little pup. But she didn't forget about her mate. She took one hand and pulled at Cassie's shirt, pulling her down for a kiss.

She saw Lupe freeze, and then her mate hit the floor to cradle the puppy. The two immediately seemed to get along, and it made Cassie feel good to see her mate happy. Also seeing the more motherly side of Lupe was special to Cassie. She heard the coo and smiled, and then Lupe grabbed her shirt and brought her down for a kiss. Cassie's eyes widened slightly in surprise before kissing back for the short time. Then Lupe thanked her and Cassie knew Lupe really did like the pup since she was basically using human words to thank someone. She knelt down beside Lupe on the floor with a smile.
"You're welcome. I figured we could use another pack member. I'm glad you two get along."

Lupe nuzzled into Cassie's neck, her heart sweeping both from her mate and from her new little pack member. Which reminded her, she needed to bring Okaoka here as well. The little fox had been with her through everything when she had been forced into the human academy. It would only be fair to get him to a place without fear of running into those same wretched creatures Lupe had to deal with. "Did the humans name him?" Lupe had to ask, curious.
Otherwise Lupe could name the little one herself, with Cassie's help of course. "Also.....there is another member of my pack I would like to bring here, if it's alright." She said. "His name is Okaoka. He is a fox friend who has kept me sane through these years." She added with a slight grumble. Without him Lupe was certain she would've gone mad interacting so much with the humans.

"Nope he still needs a name. They were one of those people who think naming the puppies means they'll be unable to give them away." Cassie grinned.
"And of course. We have plenty of room, and you're able to stand my friends so of course I can stand yours. Besides, foxes are really smart. And cute too but I'm sure your friend probably wouldn't be impressed by that." She chuckled.
"So basically Okaoka is what humans call a best friend I'm guessing. By your description it sounds like it." She rested her head gently on Lupe's shoulder. Her mate made her feel safer and calmer.
