Erin didn't regret leaning in to kiss Alex, the sake helped with that, and she fully planned to use that as an excuse. Was it wrong of her to blame a drink when she was fully aware of what she was doing and the consequences that were likely to folly. True the drink played a part in her actually being bold enough to go for it but it was still something that she had really, really wanted to do. She expected to be pushed away or for Alex to bashfully pull away while letting Erin know that she was straight or the drinks were getting to them. Instead she felt Alex returning the kiss. This had to be a dream, right?
It was very possibly for it to be a dream, Erin had one like this before about Alex but this just felt so real. From the warmth coming from both of their bodies, to the way Alex's soft lips felt against her own, and even soon when she could feel the other girl's body press into her. Hell, Erin just wanted her now. Had she not have anything to drink in her she likely would have been freaking out, using her power, or possibly moving to run away. With the drink in her she moved one arm around Alex's neck, keeping the other girl in the kiss. Her other arm moved around Alex's waist in return, wanting to keep Alex's body close against hers.
She was not sure how long the kiss lasted, part of it felt like it had gone on forever, but then it felt too short once Alex was pulling away. Erin was quick to let go of her hold on the girl, even if she didn't want to. There was a groan, one that Erin was not sure if it was because Alex was upset because of the kiss or because it had stopped. She was being safe and assuming the former but Alex's eyes seemed to be saying something different. Erin’s face had a mixed expression from wanting more, fear that she had messed things up, and sadness that she had basically taken advantage of her friend.
A good friend did not do that, she didn't need her guide book to tell her that. "It's okay...it was my fault. I should not have done that, you're taken and my friend. I'm...I'm sorry." Erin responded as she pulled her arms back closer to herself as her eyes looked downward. She hesitated then before she moved to try and roll over to her other side to give Alex her back and avoid doing such a thing again. "...I can go to my father's room, if you don't feel comfortable sharing a bed with anymore." Erin spoke up, feeling like she should at least do that since she didn't know if Alex anted to remain in a bed with her.
