Erin was so excited, more then she usually was when her farther said that she and him were going to be going on a trip. Why? He dad had been pleased with how she was doing in school and the fact that she made friends. So he allowed her to bring whoever she wanted on her trip to Japan with them, and she had asked Alex. Alex had said yes! Sure, the other girl did have a boyfriend but that didn't mean they could not have fun together. Besides, this trip could be the ultimate seduction and then she will be all mine. Erin thought to herself before she let out a small laugh. Yeah, right. Like that would ever happen. Erin thought to herself as she let out a sight.

She was so wrapped up in her thoughts that she forgot that Alexandra Lawson; the girl she had invited along for this trip, had a seat right next to her. So she likely heard all the sounds Erin was saying while she was caught up in her thoughts. The plane was already pulling out of the gat eat the flight attendance went over the safety measures that Erin and her father had usually checked out of. Her father was already conformable in his seat, looking out the window and waiting to be allowed to push his chair back so he could sleep for most of the flight.

He had not said much when he came to pick Alex and Erin up or on the whole trip to the airport. He was a man of very few words, not very social; much like his daughter, unless he had to be. He was polite but he mostly allowed Erin and Alex to chat for the drive to the airport. Now they were all on the plane, sitting in first class and getting ready for the flight ahead of them. Movement from where Alex was supposed to be sitting caught Erin's attention, which had her staring and admiring the girl for a moment before she spoke up. "You all set?" Erin asked, whispering a little to not be fully rude to the flight attendance doing their thing.

Alex had been a wide-eyed spectator to the majority of the trip up to this point. She was still largely stunned at the accommodating ways of Erin and her father. Alex had never been brought along as a guest on any sort of family trips making this one, as her first, a mind blowing experience. She'd been quiet, for the most part, smiling politely and largely only speaking when spoken to. Alex didn't do well in new situations. Meeting Erin's father was only marginally awkward for the petite, newly dyed redhead. She'd manage greet him politely enough, even if she wasn't able to hide her awkwardness.

Nodding hastily, Alex smiled brightly and glanced to Erin. "I..." She struggled to find the right words. She'd only been on a plane a few times before and the trip from Montana to California wasn't all that long. Her heart raced at the idea of being on one long enough to reach japan of all places. She turned her eyes away from Erin and peered out the window. She'd timidly asked for the window seat, not wanting to be a bother to anyone else who was taking part in the trip and looked to the tarmac that still surrounded the plane. "I can't believe it." She said, her tone low as she shook her head. "I'm going to Japan." And, lo, there was much stifled giggling.

Erin’s father; Steven Hackett, was completely fine with how Alex was acting. He personally thought she was a nice girl and the awkwardness was nothing less then what he was used to when he would take Erin out in public. When they were alone, then his daughter was a bit more of herself but he was certainty pleased that Erin had an actual friend in person instead of over the computer or video game. Granted he was not surprised of how the two of them played video games with one another and how his daughter clearly spoke of the girl as if she had the biggest crush on her.

He kept that to himself, for now until he needed it to help motivate his daughter or punish her if she stepped way too far out of line with her computer skills. They were on the plane, with it backing out and getting ready to take off. Erin unable to not check Alex out a little as the other girl seemed to struggle to speak. Erin knew this was Alex's first time doing something like this but she didn't know Alex meant like leaving the country or that she had not flown very much. Erin was used to flying a lot with her father's work.

She could not help but to smile a little more at the words that Alex managed to get out eventually, clearly happy about the trip. Erin hesitated for a moment before she held her hand out for Alex to take if she wanted as the plane started to proceed down the runway faster and faster for the take off and into the air. "Believe it, as Naruto would say. It's going to be a long flight, but the food, shows, music, and...your company will make it go by fast." Erin said, hesitating at the last bit before just getting it out there. She closed her eyes for a moment, and then checked on her dad who was already settling in to get some sleep.

Even though it was apparent Alex didn't do well in situations she wasn't familiar with she was raised with manners and acted accordingly. She was polite and soft spoken when addressed and offered Erin's father the respect he deserved, seeing as how he was the reason this not-so-little excursion was happening. She even went so far as to profusely and humbly thank him for allowing her to come along. More than once. And there was a little bit of rambling that was added on to the end of one of the occasions. Enough that she would have had to force herself to shut up which, in turn, led to much flushing of her cheeks and shrinking into the background as much as she could.

Once settled, though, and Erin's father was seemingly content to sleep away the trip, Alex began to relax. She was excited still, that was obvious, it simply felt more like it was just the two of them and Alex had grown remarkably comfortable around Erin since they'd first met. "Aw." Alex turned her eyes from the tarmac outside and flashed a smile in Erin's direction. "You're so sweet." She then gave a little wiggle as she settled into the plush seat a bit more. "My god." She gushed. "This is so much better than anything ever I've seen on a plane." Alex couldn't help looking over everything with a certain wide-eyed sense of wonderment. "You know my parents were really excited for me." She admitted, brushing a stray strand of red hair from her face and tucking it behind her ear. "I'm the first of my family to go to Japan." To someone like Erin, Alex figured, that wouldn't be significant, but to the modest family from Northern California, it meant a great deal. "I can't thank you enough for asking me to come. Really." Again she flashed that warm, almost adoring smile toward Erin and took the offered hand. "This is... amazing." She said, her slender fingers lacing between Erin's.

Erin liked seeing this shy side to Alex, a side that she had not actually seen before because she was the one that was usually being shy and freaking out. Erin never really hung out with Alex around other people so she missed that side of the girl. It was so cute, how she was being so polite and looked worried about what Alex's dad would think. What he was mainly thinking was that his daughter had a crush on the girl and he wondered if the other girl felt the same way. Erin and her father pretty much shared everything, because it was always just the two of them for so long and he was basically Erin's only real life friend for the longest time.

He was certainty a happy father to be able to take one of Erin's friends with them on the trip, even if the girl was not into his daughter, which was not of his concern. He was just here to have some fun and mainly make sure they got to the places they needed to without any issue. Erin wanted to say how cute Alex were when she was blushing, rambling, and wellbeing super shy. Yet, those words would not come out and instead they remained floating around in Erin's hid. Likely to slip out at any moment if she freaked out too much or was able to actually grab a hold of her inner boldness. "Really? This is not even like the best first class out there, but I like it." Erin said, nodding her head a little, taking a deep breath.

She could not help but to grin as Alex informed her that she was the first to go to Japan and how her parents were happy for her. It made Erin feel good that she could do something; that she saw as simple, and it makes someone so happy. "No problem...you said yes after all...so thank you for wanting to come and...you know being my...friend." Erin managed to get out, the last word coming out very slow when Alex laced their fingers together! Laced fingers! That was like first base. Friends did it sure but not all that often...did they? Either way, lacing fingers was so sensual and something you so did with someone you liked liked.

Does she? No, she has a bf still. She is just super nice, that’s all. yeah. Erin thought to herself, super red, but she didn't let go of Alex's hand and she was certain had this been an anime her nose would have been bleeding.

Not the best first class? A brow quirked as Erin casually mentioned that and Alex couldn't help but shake her head. This was all incredibly surreal for her. She wasn't used to this sort of attention or luxury. The handful of times she's flown had been pleasurable experiences, sure, but nothing compared to where she was currently sitting. Of course, the furthest she'd ever flown was from Montana to California and back. The planes used for those trips didn't come close to the flying luxury suites that these international flights seemed to be.

Erin's words succeeded in flaring a warmth within Alex's heart. She smiled up to the other girl and gave Erin's hand a squeeze. "You're welcome, Erin." She replied softly. "I should be thanking you, though." She admitted. "Everything you've done... and been to me." She gave a contented sigh. "You don't need to thank me." She said after a short pause. Erin had, after all, been nothing but be among the sweetest people Alex had ever met. It wasn't the gifts that had been given that brought Alex to that conclusion either. While the computer and the trip to Japan certainly helped, Alex saw a certain genuine kindness in Erin that was rare among the students at the Academy. "Thank you."

Erin didn't know why she said anything about there being better first class; perhaps she just didn't want Erin to think that she was super rich or anything. They were very wealthy, yes but not like super rich to be able to afford a private jet. Okay, maybe they could do it once but they were actually pretty careful about how they spent their money. They built what they could, got sales, and used deals that they had through different methods. At any rate, the first class was nice but Erin had been on better but she figured she had to think about this from Alex's perspective; a girl who was for the first time leaving the county.

The hand squeeze made Erin pretty sure that her heart stopped beating. Was the normal? Was that something that was even supposed to happen? Okay, it was beating again. It had just actually skipped a beat and then sped up to the point that it felt like it had stopped. Her heart was beating so fast that is was probably possible for Alex to feel it through their hands holding one another. Erin hesitated a moment before actually holding the hand back instead of just being in the loose hold on her end. It felt nice, but it still felt way too intimate and it cause her to look around as if she was worried Alex's significant other was going to show up and start asking questions.

"I was just you know...doing the things a good friend is supposed to do...and stuff. Plus your smile makes it like worth it cause-look how high we are now." Erin stumbled a bit, before going for a quick subject change as she pointed out Alex's window with a her free hand. She of course still didn't let Alex's hand go with her other hand. Erin honestly didn't know what she was going to do other than sleep like usual. However; Alex was here so she wanted to make sure that Alex had everything she needed or wanted or just wanted to talk about for the trip. She just..."Excuse me, can I have some ice?" Erin asked one of the flight attendant who said sure with a sweet smile before leaving to get her some. She needed to cool down.

Alex couldn't help but smile brightly. The entire situation, it seemed, had happened so fast. It didn't help that Alex was usually distracted by whatever was right in front of her at any given moment it made time this abstract concept she rarely took into consideration. Days melded together and she often mixed up important dates and often had trouble remembering the timing of certain events. She even had to count back her grade in order to figure out how long she'd been at the Academy. It felt like only yesterday she'd agreed to Erin's offer and now, just a short time later, she was actually going to Japan of all places.

"Oh, god, no. Wow." Alex turned her attention from the window beside her to the redhead and she absolutely beamed. "You've gone way beyond just 'good friend' behavior." She admitted. In truth, she was utterly clueless to Erin's inner most thoughts. Yes, she understood there were certain boundaries that should be respected which was why she was careful to not undress around Erin anymore or anything of the sort, but in Alex's mind, it was all innocent.

At Erin's direction, Alex glanced back to the window. She leaned closer and craned her neck to peer out to the clouds that stretched out beneath them. "Woah." She said in a soft whisper. It was a far cry from the short flights she'd been on before. "I still keep thinking we're going to land in Sacramento in, like, two hours." She said sheepishly as she settled back into her seat and flashed Erin a grin while giving the other girl's hand a squeeze.

That bright smile, it felt like if Erin had even been frozen in a block of ice Alex would be able to melt it away. She literally would consider her power; which Erin still wanted to see more of, but she was not going to press the matter. Not yet, and not when they were on a plan and such a thing would have been way too crazy to do. It was weird to think about how things had turned out from when the two of them met. It was an interesting way to meet and Erin did not regret that meeting that had taken place five months and three days. But who was counting? Erin. Not that she was going to admit that but they were already going to be working on their six months of knowing one another, soon enough.

It was still all odd that Erin had been able to make some friends, not thinking she would have been able to when she transferred. Yet, her current friends had clearly proved that wrong and Erin could not help but to feel happy about it all. There was some rambling, an almost slip up, and thankfully Alex falling for the whole look out the window trick. Technically there was a lot to see still, they had a little bit before they would get the whole crossing the ocean part that didn't have much to see besides open water. "Well you ah...you make me feel good so maybe I spoil you...a little bit." Erin admitted as she looked away and waited for her drink to show up.

When it did she drank it so fast it felt like she had not even gotten the drink in the first place. It was true that Erin did spoil her friends but she could not deny that Alex and Quinn were a little more spoiled but that was because those two let her and didn't make that much of a fuss about it like Tim and his always 'I have a girlfriend' info on why he felt weird Erin getting and doing things for him. "Nope, a long flight ahead of us. Have to cover some land, then over the ocean, and then we will be landing in Japan. It's best to sleep through it all and if you want, they even provide medication to help you sleep." Erin informed her friend.

Her friend who she was so imaging as her girlfriend now because of the hand holding and just the fact they were sitting next to one another...holding hands. "You're beautiful." Erin said in response to that grin Alex was giving her. She then turned bright red and turned her head to work on falling asleep as fast as possible. "L-let me know if you need anything...or anything." Erin quickly stammered out as she looked to her dad for help but he was already done for the count.

"Oh stop." Alex couldn't help the sheepish smile from surfacing at Erin's words. Since the moment they arrived in the airport Alex's face simply transitioned from one shade of smile to another. It had rarely left her face completely, always lingering just beneath the surface. She had no choice in the matter. She was still have trouble wrapping her mind around what all was going on. It was mind-boggling to her that there were people like Erin and her father who could travel to these exotic locations so often it seemed to lack much of an impact on them. To Alex this was to be a trip she'd never forget while to Erin and her father, looked as though this was all business as usual.

Alex studied Erin's features for a moment as the other girl spoke. Alex gave a little nod even as her mind began to ponder how strange it was to see Erin so knowledgeable and calm in this situation. Sure, there was the obvious pre-flight jitters that Erin seemed to be dealing with on occasion, but she was certainly more adept at travelling than Alex. Her lips had parted to speak in response but she was cut off by the sudden, and striking, compliment. "You are too, you know?" She said without hesitation, her gaze unwavering as she peered up to Erin before the other redhead could turn away.

Alex would follow Erin's advice. Within a half hour she had settled down, popped a couple of the pills offered, plugged her earbuds in and was passed out in her seat. Sleep was aided by how little rest an overly excited Alex had gotten the night before. By the time there was any stirring between the girls, Alex had shifted closer to Erin, her head resting comfortably on her shoulder, eyes closed, lost in whatever dream she may have been having.

Erin just smiles a little more at Alex telling her to stop, the way it was said made Erin think it was more in that flirtatious way girls did it. When they told you to stop but they really wanted you to keep doing whatever it was you were doing. Then again, Erin was not fully sure so she was going to play it safe and not say too much on it...for now anyways. She could not make any promises later and it was still not like she could deny spoiling Alex. Sure the whole coming here thing was not that big of a deal but what they had planned was and it was not going to be cheap.

Yet, Erin had already told her dad this was what she wanted to do with the other girl and he was in support so long as she didn't spend all of her savings. All of this just felt right and Erin was just happy that she had made a friend like Alex. A girl whose power thankfully was not mind reading or who knew if Alex would have stuck around with the thoughts that were going around in Erin's head. Especially the ones about how she wished that she was so good looking that she was able to flip all the straight girls, but mainly this one that was on the plane with her would be enough. Then she had to go and mess things up by slipping out that comment to which Alex actually returned.

Did Erin just die? She was pretty sure that her heart had yet again had stopped and that she was overheating. That was how she was going to die. A heart attack coupled with her insides melting because she was heating up from Alex being well Alex. Okay, so she was more likely to pass out from all the blood that was rushing to her face, but she was a gamer so of course she would think of extreme things. She was just happy that she was not born a guy or else she would have an unavoidable problems right now; yay for being a girl! She didn't say anything back to Alex, she could not. She just stayed working on trying to sleep which proved pretty much impossible.

She was still wide awake even when Alex had fallen asleep, feeling the feeling in her stomach return again when she felt Alex's head resting on her shoulder. So cute... Erin thought to herself. Then she was looking around, making sure no one was looking before she leaned in to give Alex's forehead a kiss. That was easy enough and she felt like a total badass for doing it; even if it was so cheating since Alex was knocked out, but she still did it. It had been enough to help her relax and soon she too was passed out, only to wake up and grumbled a little when the captain started to speak about how they would be landing soon.

Alex didn't often find it easy to fall asleep in strange places, least of all in public. There was no way should should have been able to find herself in a deep slumber while on a plane headed to Japan. She was thankful the airline provided a fix for this problem, though, in hindsight, someone of Alex's size probably didn't need to take both of the small pills that were handed out.

Even though her body had pulled her toward sleep, Alex's mind remained doggedly determined to remain awake. The power struggled had Alex drifting in and out of consciousness at moments, while skirting the line between aware and asleep in others. She stirred faintly when Erin kissed her forehead. Her eyes, heavy from near sleep opened slowly and peered up toward the other girl as a thin smile touched her lips. Alex shifted slightly in her seat in an effort to make sharing space with Erin more comfortable. Before finally giving in to the lure of sleep, Alex reached out and curled her arm through Erin's where it would remain until the other girl moved.

When the captain's voice came over the intercom, Alex groaned and pulled away from Erin. She curled up, pulling her legs beneath her and wrapping her arms around herself as she leaned against the side of the plane. She had no concept of how much time had passed, or of where she really was. When the instructions continued through the sound system, another groan escaped, this one reminiscent of a young girl who's mother was attempting to wake them up for school and she was begging for just five more minutes.

Finally, Alex stretched out her legs and arms in a heavy yawn. "What time is it?" She asked, her voice soft as she rubbed at her eyes. Suddenly it hit her where they must be. She started as if pinched, eyes snapping wider and she practically through herself against the window of the plane to peer out. "Are were there?" She said, the excitement from earlier in the trip already beginning to surface. "Oh my god, Erin..." She breathed in disbelief. "We are."

If Erin had known that Alex was not fully asleep, and then there would have been no way that she would have given the girl a kiss on her forehead. She had even made sure the coast was clear beforehand and since Alex didn't wake up or say anything, Erin thought she was in the clear. It felt awesome to be able to kiss a girl like that without getting caught and it not being that big of a deal. Then again...it also made her feel a little bad because she was sort of taking advantage of the other girl because she was sleeping. She did her best to not think about it that way since it was just an innocent kiss, like a parent did when tucking their kid into bed.

Yeah, that was what it was but instead of a parent it was a friend. A friend who did have a crush on the girl, but a friend all the same. The arm around her arm just made it feel even more like they were secrete girlfriends or something. The two of them having to run away to another country in order to express their feelings for one another before having to jump out of the plane before it exploded because they were both secrete agents who... Settle down brain and get some sleep. Erin thought to herself. Too bad that when she fell asleep she was still having this action pack romance dream about her and Alex, but good thing Alex was no dream walker.

Erin's dad was already wide awake and ready for action as the plane landed and they were pulling into their gate. He was a business guy so he had a habit of already being in the zone and knowing you needed to move to get off the plane, go get your bags, and then get out of the airport. Alex pulling away from Erin was what helped her get up and start to stretch out as she let out another yawn. Aww look at her. All curled up and still wanting to sleep. Erin thought to herself as she looked at how Alex looked as if she was trying to get a few more extra minutes of sleep. "Uh...about six in the morning, they are already in their next day." Erin said after turning on her phone and checking the time.

Alex looked so excited, and they had a whole day ahead of them still. Jet-lag was likely going to hit hard but normally Erin and her dad would get settled into their hotel and then force them to go out and about in order to try and quickly get their bodies to adjust to the time change. They would be her for the whole weekend, so they had three days to adjust, before they would fly out on the fourth day. "We are. Come on. We have to get set up in our hotel and then we are going to one of the Pokémon stores." Erin informed Alex as she held out her hand for the other girl to talk. It was so she would not get losses in the hustle and bustle of everyone getting off the plane, yeah that was why.

Another yawn snuck passed Alex's rapidly increasing excitement. She nodded as Erin explained the time difference. She was sure at some point she'd find herself utterly decimated by jet-lag and drastic change in the time zone, but there was nothing that could keep Alex down. Even the drudgery of retrieving her backpack from the overhead compartment and doing the 'airline shuffle' down the aisle and out into the terminal couldn't quell the pattering of her heart.

With her hands clutching the straps of the pack on her back, Alex stopped as they hit the terminal and couldn't help but be awe struck by the sheer size of the airport. With eyes wide she gazed about, looking very much like a tourist on her first venture outside of her home country. It felt as though it'd be painfully easy for someone her size to get lost in the dense crowds of bustling people. "Woah." She said, snapping back to reality as Erin spoke. "That's a thing here?" She trotted forward to catch up to Erin and her father, reaching out to take hold of the offered hand and giving it a gentle squeeze. "I still can't believe I'm here." Alex mused, her tone low almost as if she was speaking to herself before her gaze shifted up toward Erin for a moment. "This... is crazy."

This was nothing new or special for Erin and her father, all of it had lost the wow factor a long time ago. It was hard to be wowed by a place that had been your home for years; they even both had dual citizenship. Well, Erin had it and her father might as well had it with how much the company he worked for originally over here loved him. They had picked him to run their other business in the states after all, so that had to be a sign of true love for an employee when you put them in charge of another branch on a whole other content. What was amazing to see was how Alex was reacting. The other girl’s reactions alone were enough to make this place seem special. Still, the Hackett family was focused on getting out of the airport and to the hotel but Erin made sure to keep a close eye on Alex and even offered out her hand.

She personally didn't like being here but she didn't really like being anywhere that was full of people and it was just so easy to get lost. "Yeah, they have a ton of them actually. Pretty much everything Pokémon related you can find in the stores. From the old school games, plus dolls, clothing, other apparel, and even food all centered on Pokémon." Erin informed Alex as she nodded a few times. Yeah, it was pretty crazy just how over the top these stores were but Erin loved it all. That squeezing of the hand caused Erin’s heart to act all weird for a moment but she kept a hold of the hand and pressed on ahead. "As Naruto would say, believe it!" Erin said, blushing after because she found it super corny. "You are such a tourist." Erin quickly added, teasing the other girl just a little as she waited near baggage claim while her dad spoke of how he would go get them and to wait right there.

"My dad even got us our own room so you don't have to worry about my dad being in the same room as us and he also said we can order whatever we want from room services for tonight’s meal." Erin informed Alex figuring talking would help keep her distracted from all the people around them. Plus she kind of didn’t really tell Alex what all she had planned for when they first got there. It was hotel, then out for some shopping, seeing the sights, and then they would return to the hotel. Where they would likely order something super expensive just because they could and then pass out when the jet lag would hit them. Not bad for a first day, but she was still willing to change things around if Alex really wanted to do something.
