"oh honestly," Elsa said, rolling her eyes, "we were friends before now, and I probably would've had a conversation similar to this regardless," she reached up to wipe at her eyes. "Why else do you think I've been so hateful toward your organization? Just because it took my losing everyone else to realize that you're one of my closest friends doesn't diminish it, nor you."
Elsa let out a rough laugh, then looked around. She raised her brows and offered the crowd a tight smile: "Show's over ladies and gentlemen, so let's try moving along," Elsa gesture for them to do so before looking back to Roxana. She stood silently for several seconds, before:

Elsa pointed out that they had been friends before now and how a conversation similar to this would of happened no matter what. Was that true? Roxana debated it for a small moment. Yes, looking back on it she could not say that Elsa was simply an acquaintance or not a friend. They perhaps were not the tradition kind of friends that Roxana had observed and even imitated, but they were still friends all the same. It had been unfair of her to think in such a way and yet she still had, concluding that it had to be these emotions that were getting in the way. Causing her to have failure in judgement, just thinking clearly and logically like she normally did.
Even more reason to hate theses...emotions. Roxana spotted Elsa wiping at her eye. The other girl had not actually cried yet, had seen? Roxana had heard it in the other girl's voice but she didn't think Elsa had gotten to the point of actually crying. A question, one that Roxana that had Roxana glancing away for a moment before her eyes went back to Elsa. "I honestly thought it was because you did not like the idea of someone damaging someone who was also working for you." Roxana answered, and that had been what she had honestly thought was the reason Elsa even bothered to care or be upset when Rox was injured.
To care for any other reason didn't really make much sense to her but then again there were very few people who saw her in a weakened state and if they did she usually was able to pull it off that everything was fine. Another valid point was made, just making it clear that Elsa did actually value what they had. A rough laugh, followed by Elsa basically shooing away the onlookers, and then asking if they were going to ride the tea cups. Roxana remained silent for a moment, looking away as she full worked on settling herself down. "I might start to picture a little Elsa ridding the teacups." Roxana pointed out as she moved closer to the other girl.
She didn't hesitate to give another slight bow of her head. "My deepest apologies, for raising my voice, and upsetting you. I will work on...what is wrong with me and get over these feeling I carry for you so we can remain friends." Roxana said, in a tone and way that could make one think of a knight pledging themselves to serve a princess until the day they died. If anything Rox honestly felt herself desiring the other woman more now, but she was certain she could once again be her normal self and be able to be the friend that Elsa saw in her.

Roxana's response drew a slight eye roll from Elsa: "That's certainly part of it," the Bellefonte admitted. She didn't like the thought of someone going after her people, but: "Obviously I wouldn't go to quite these lengths if you were just another employee," she pointed out, gesturing toward the other girl. She was tempted to go further, to point out that they kept up their relationship even as Elsa slid out of power, even when she'd been at her lowest point, though Roxana hadn't been quite as helpful there as certain other people who qualified as friends.
At least Elsa managed to banish most of the onlookers. It turned out that she still had a little ferocity to her, or at least enough to get people's attention. Her offer for their next course of action apparently got another comment. "Erika liked them first," Elsa admitted. "It wasn't until I got into dancing that I found I sort of liked the feeling of weightlessness. It was also one of the few times that every one of my siblings got along. All shoved into one little teacup," Elsa smiled, recalling when they'd all been within the age range to enjoy such things, to look past the differences that had since come up.
She looked over, noting that Roxana was bowing. That had her rolling her eyes. "That's the point: there's nothing wrong with you. Besides, you've put up with a good deal more with me," Elsa smirked with that, before nodding and gesturing for Roxana to take the lead, heading to the tea cups so they could get on with the rest of their day.

A slight eye roll and a confession that it was part of it; Rox knew it. While it might not have been all of it, it was still a part of it. However; she was not going to get into it because it was Elsa's reason. Whatever reason Elsa had for why she cared about Rox getting hurt was her reason alone and Roxana didn't really mind if it was simply because she was viewed as property. In a way, she was that. An object, a tool, an animal that had been trained for a specific purpose to be fulfilled. Without that purpose, she didn't feel like she was who she was meant to be.
Yes, there were things that she had come to enjoy that were a part of her but without that other side to her...was she really herself? Rox didn't really know for sure and she didn't want to think about it too much. Too many questions and doubts would fill her mind and it would just be best to leave her to think to herself. However; Elsa still seemed to want to spend time with one another and bond...like friends did. Roxana was still uncertain and did wish to be to herself to settle down a bit more but she stayed with Elsa and moved to get on the tea cups. Elsa pointing out how her twin had liked them first and how it was not until dancing that Elsa grew to enjoy it.
A memory of Elsa dancing came back to Roxana, and how Elsa did not end up dancing with Rox but instead some 'wall flower'. Back then Roxana didn't feel how she did about the other girl and a part of her wished to go back to how things were then. Still, she knew fighting it was not getting her anywhere by her current means so she was just going to have to try other methods. When she was on her own, so it would have to wait for now. "Sounds like a pleasant memory." Roxana spoke up in response to Elsa speaking of how her and her siblings would all squeeze into one. The only thing Roxana could think about her and her siblings doing together would have to have been training and homework.
There was nothing wrong with her. A part of Roxana felt like yelling again and calling Elsa a fool. How did she think that nothing was wrong with her? Did Elsa forget that she confessed her feelings to her? That she had not followed the orders of her employers more than once for the sake of being on the side of Bellefonte; Elsa's side. Rox didn't say anything and just glanced away for a moment before leading the way towards the ride.

"It is," Elsa replied, smiling at the thought of the memory, and what the memory really meant to her and everything. She could sense Roxana's own memory, of her own siblings, bubbling just at the surface there. That was certainly pleasant too, though in a different way. The next thoughts that came, however, were decidedly less pleasant. Had Elsa forgotten? Didn't she realize that Roxana obeyed orders?
"I haven't forgotten," Elsa replied as casually as if responding to a topic, keeping stride with Roxana as she went. "I'm demisexual, Roxana, I understand how that works all too well. You get emotionally attached to someone and other feelings develop. It's incredibly confusing the first few times, hurtful when the person's your friend, but eventually you get used to it, and eventually, you get lucky," Elsa flashed another smile at Roxana, nodding and walking toward the tea-cups. "I hope you're not one to use the middle to spin like that,' She pointed at where a set of younger students were spinning a cup at speeds fast enough to practically qualify as pilot training.
There was decidedly less of a line for this ride; they'd pretty well just have to wait for the line to wind its current rotation down before walking right on.

The other girl voice of how it was a pleasant memory, good for her. It was important that everyone had at least one good memory they could hold onto. It was healthy; or something along those lines, Rox was not sure and was not really worried about it. Elsa was then speaking up, clearly having still remained inside Roxana's mind and felt the need to answer the questions that were floating around in there. While Rox was slightly thankful for Elsa deciding to touch on the matter, a larger part of her didn't like it at all. There was a reason for a thought to remain inside your head and not past your lips.
Roxana had always had a problem with mind readers and emotion related ability but she tolerated it just enough when it came to being around Elsa. Elsa was demisexual...a person who does not experience sexual attraction unless they form a strong emotional connection with someone. Rox felt like that might have been the case for herself, but she didn't know for sure and didn't want to think about it too much. Elsa spoke of how she understood and how it was confusing but you would get used to it and eventually you would get lucky. Rox's mouth opened to say something before closing, but ultimately decided to say it.
It was going to cross her mind anyways so it was best to just come out and say it. "Lucky in terms of gaining the affections of a guy that previously loved you sister, but not lucky in terms of feeling anything towards someone who has had your back far more then said guy. I'll say that I understand but I honestly don't." Roxana responded. Yes, there it was. That small about of jealously? Bitterness? She didn’t know what the feeling was but she knew that she didn't like it and that she had even said something so piety. She said nothing on the comment about spinning the cup, she didn't feel like it. She just wanted to sit and continue settling the turmoil inside of her down.
"Apologies, I should not have said that and it would be best if you stay out of my head for the reminded of our time together. If you want us to be able to go about this whole being friends and trying to behave like normal teenagers." Roxana added once she sat down in the tea cup.

Wow, actual jealousy and bitterness from Roxana Strix. Elsa supposed she should be offended or even angry to hear such spiteful words from one of her closest friends, particularly directed so pointedly at Felix. It again made her well aware that it was quite good that she hadn't shared the status of that particular relationship with her friend. Clearly things were going to be complicated enough without having to add that into the mixture.
They'd reached the cups. Roxana was already apologizing. "It's not as simple as that," Elsa replied, reaching up to slightly flick back her hair as she picked out their ride. "Whenever I'm attuned to someone's thought patterns it proves nearly impossible for me not to pick up their thoughts. It's a bit like walking through the shelves of a library," she settled into the cup, adjusting, making sure she was across from Roxana for reasons that might have had more to do with that comment than Elsa would have admitted. "I can attempt and pretend, but the simple fact of the matter is that some part of me is looking at the words there, reading what they say and processing everything."
Elsa fully adjusted herself in the cup, then looked up at Roxana. "Ready to be disoriented again?" She asked, well aware of the potential double-meaning.

Roxana could not help the words that left her mouth, because they were already floating around in her mind. She didn't really understand any of it and she honestly really did hate that she was behaving and feeling like this. While she got that she was upset at the fact that Elsa could care for some guy she got leftover feelings for, that the guy had loved her sister first, and he was so weak. She could not help but to wonder what was wrong with her that Elsa didn't feel any way towards her outside of friendship, but then again she didn't understand why she felt the way she did about Elsa.
All of it was confusing and it just made the situation that much more difficult for Roxana to process. Perhaps it would have been best to go their separate ways for now and try this whole being friends and acting like normal teenagers some other times. Elsa voiced how it was not that simple to just block out Rox's thoughts now, not when she was attuned to someone. Rox glanced away for a moment before her piercing blue eyes looked back at Elsa. "Then perhaps after this ride it would be best for us to go our separate ways. At least until I'm able to get my mind in the right place once more." Roxana spoke up.
She honestly thought that was the best idea because she didn't see how it would benefit either of them for Elsa to have to deal with the thoughts in Rox's head and Rox having to deal with trying to cover up the thoughts inside her mind. They were both in the cup then, the ride about to start at any minute. Elsa asking a question that Roxana took in both the meanings it could represent. "Yes." Roxana responded simply, only desiring it for the fact that with the world spinning her around, at least her mind would settle. She already closed her eyes then, ready for the ride to start and help her mind lose itself.

"We hadn't exactly planned anything further," Elsa replied in that same easy drawl. She could understand Roxana's discomfort, and knew that she'd pushed the other girl a good deal that day. It had hardly been surprising, at least taking that in retrospect, that the girl had snapped at Elsa in such a manner. Nor could the Bellefonte really begrudge her friend wanting some time to herself, or at least time away from Elsa.
First, the ride. Elsa nodded as Roxana responded, and soon they heard the ride moving. Elsa could see those closed eyes and, feeling a bit puckish, she gave the center wheel a few spins, sending both passengers around in a fast circle for several seconds. Elsa was almost tempted to continue, feeling that almost childish desire to keep Roxana feeling discomforted, as if paying her back for her statements and everything. However, just as Elsa reached for the center post, she felt a twisting in her gut. She liked to think it was just her little passenger but, well, she couldn't be certain. Conscience did funny things to people.
So Elsa simply leaned back. She kept her gaze on Roxana, on Roxana and what extended behind her, as they spun almost lazily, letting the ride add its own natural spin to things.

Roxana said nothing more to Elsa's words. It was true that they had nothing more planned but they had not even talked business. Perhaps this meeting really had only been planned for the two of them to have some fun together and...bond. Rox was still not certain but it really didn't matter since they would be going their separate ways after this. Roxana needed the space, she could not remain around Elsa and expect the feelings to just poof. If anything, being around the other girl and having talked about it made Rox desire the other girl more.
That was problem when she was trying to go for the opposite effect, so perhaps she needed to pull back from this relationship in order to stop feeling for her. However; Elsa had made it clear that she didn't want to lose Rox as a friend, so one of them was going to have to make a sacrifice. That person likely being Rox since it was her own fault that she fell for the girl and would just have to deal with the emotions being there until they went away. They had to go away, everything did eventually...right? There was some extra spinning then, causing Rox's to open her eyes and look at Elsa. "Your childish side is showing, Elsa." Roxana spoke up, but she honestly didn't mind.
The extra spinning would not have bothered her and it was kind of cute how Elsa seemed to want to bother her. Yet again, that just added to the problem of her feelings towards the other girl but she didn’t think about it. She just sat still as she could in the tea cup and let it spin. It was a little hard to not move a little bit when the ride would shift, but she managed to allow herself to remain on the other side of Elsa, ridding the ride until it would stop. Then she would let out a deep breath before she would go to get off the ride so she could leave. "Thank you for inviting me out, Elsa. Apologies that things did not go...as planned." Roxana apologized as she gave a slight bow of her head.
Then she was turning to leave, like she always did, but not forgetting her signature farewell to the other girl. "Until next time." Rox said. It carried much more than a simple promise to see the girl again.

Roxana's comment drew Elsa's brows up. Really? After her own childish comment regarding her dating practices? That remark almost made Elsa want to give them another spin: her hands were already resting on the device in the middle. But her maturity won out in the end, the hands going down, going back to her lap, waiting.
The ride spun, and their eyes closed, simply enjoying things. The two ended up taking that deep breath at nearly the same time, as though they were synchronized, which wouldn't have surprised Elsa all that much, particularly as she could still detect nearly every surface thought that rolled from Roxana's mind. So much so that she almost heard the echo as Roxana spoke. "It's perfectly fine," Elsa said, waving a hand. "I think we made progress." She really hoped so, at any rate. She didn't know how else to handle Roxana, and, worse yet, she didn't know who she could really turn to for advice on the subject. Vera would unearth problems of her own; Erika had become distant; Felix even moreso; so that really only left... Ellen.
That was going to be a fun conversation.
Elsa exited while mulling this over. She watched Roxana, heard the farewell, and raised a hand in acknowledgment. Their relationship may be quite the complicated one, but it seemed that, at least for now, it was one that was going to continue.
