Queer to a within normalcy behaviour, Killian had resorted to texting a couple of days past. It was not a fashion of his, as he detested the gist of it whilst never being able to discern who would be behind the screen and if the words that came out would be authentic or just the thrill of the moment or merely blind attention stemmed from receiving a new task to distract the brain with. Nonetheless, he had opened his mobile throughout the night-time and for some preposterous reason he deemed wise to open old conversations with the past. Driven by the ludicrous impulse that only nostalgia and a rueful mood would evoke, he shifted from one conversation to another, as to even dart into Alessandra’s. He stared at the screen with her profile picture, and the imagery summoned some memories in him.
‘ Fancy a tryst? ’
he simply texted, with his fingers rattling as rapidly as he couldn’t even fathom it. It wasn’t like he was provoking a conflagration or he wanted to purposefully ignite all flames, though it was something more about having an akin figure around, and someone who could read his mind just in the way he could read hers – it was astounding how she could manage to do that without the aid of any might, of any sort.
‘ Meet me at ‘our place’ ’
Aless and Killian shared something more than just a rapport, as they couldn’t stand thronged places and they opted for tranquil spots where the constant thinking of people or the interspersed objects wouldn’t cause anyone of them to go mental over being unable to listen to their own deems. The Training Field served as this Sanctuary where there weren’t many stuff in meters around and they could just sit on the ground or lend her his sweater to shield the reach of her power and mitigate whatever contact with the solid cold surface of the bleachers. Needless to mention the hour, he was waiting there with a book at hand, knowing for certain that she would be soon arriving at the field with an amazing excuse for showing up with such tardiness upon herself.
