Welcome to BA Windex! I see you've settled in and carved out your own little piece of the site already. And now I shall properly invade your plot page with my horde of barbarians.
Immediately I latched onto the idea of Alex and Bart. She's older than him, being a year removed from graduating college, but she does work at BA and while she's not an official member of the video game club she most certainly drops in from time to time to game and hang out. She's on the quirky side of the road and remains an unashamed video game and music geek. Alex had trouble adjusting to Bellefonte back when she was a teen and does tend to try and do her best to look out for newcomers. I also find it amusing that she's among the few people, male or female, that are actually significantly smaller than your undersized Bart. I dunno... my morning coffee was really strong... just go with it...
Next on the list is Trevor. While he doesn't identify much with geek or nerd culture, Trevor's the type of kid that prides himself on being able to move about the various cliques and social groups on campus. He, too, has a habit of seeking out and attempting to befriend newbies. While his reasons aren't quite as protective and genuine as Alex, Trevor's not a wholly bad guy. Oh, and if Bart should happen to need or want anything that's not quite legal for kids of their age to posses, well, Trevor is definitely the type of person Bart wants to know.
Piper and Bart would have a lot in common when it comes to being casual observers. She's in college (same campus, though) but it wouldn't be much of a stretch to have the two of them meet. She's very much the quiet, introverted type. She's generally viewed as a little odd given her strange habit of people watching instead of actively participating in much of anything.
My second college student is Ashley. She's quite a few years older than Bart but I don't think that matters much. She's an enigmatic individual no one seems to know much of anything about. Any interaction between her and Bart would be along the lines of an unlikely meeting and/or friendship. Age doesn't matter much to her since she's still trying to catch up on a number of missed years herself. She may be in her early 20's but often seems as though she acts closer to her mid-teens.
The last of my characters connected to the Academy itself is the Papa Bear, Corey. Corey's the resident combat veteran turned school nurse. Okay, he's not really a nurse, rather he's a paramedic but he spends a lot of time helping out in the nurse's office. While he's not so much someone I could see Bart befriending due to interests, Corey has built a number of 'mentor' type relationships with various students. If that's something you'd be interested in pursuing we can always see what happens there.
Rounding out my stable is Brooke, Noah, Drew and Taylor. I don't have much in mind for any of these characters, unless Bart meets Noah's daughter Kaylee or something, but it never hurt to throw them out there anyway just in case something strikes your fancy. I'm pretty open and easy when it comes to threads. If any of the aforementioned ideas capture any sort of interest just let me know! We can talk further or just get right to mashing characters together and seeing what happens!
