That lil piece of shit! Cash Hunter shook his head when he realized his cousin had truly left the conversation and left him hanging. Pocketing his phone, the nineteen year old then dashed out of his dorm and ran over to Bucky's place. Thanks to his super speed, the boy reached there in over a minute. Not a drop of sweat was even on the boy.
He pounded on the door. Since his cousin had texted he was playing video games, Cash knew he would be home. "Hey, buddy, open up!"

Shuddering at the somewhat lewd response he got from his cousin, Bucky put down his phone to focus on the video game. Admittedly, LittleBigPlanet was not very intense but fun was fun, no matter the difficulty level. He cracked his knuckles and then flexed his fingers. Let's do this.
He tossed a piece of Skittles into his mouth before picking up the controller. Just as he about to unpause the game though, he heard pounding on the front door and his cousin's voice immediately followed it.
Dammit. And of course Bucky's parents weren't home so he'd have to get the door himself. Sighing, he walked from the living room to the door, flinging it open. "Way to throw me off my roll, man."
He stood in the doorway with a semi-annoyed look on his face. Typical. Even without his powers, he could sometimes easily predict Cash's reactions. So he supposed he brought this on himself.

A cheeky grin grew on the older boy's face as he heard the little comment. Even with the little look of annoyance he had on, Cash Hunter did not take it to heart. He knew this boy ever since he could remember. He knew Bucky Hunter was happy to see him. Although it did not show in his expression. So he leaned in and slung an arm over the other boy's shoulder before proceeding to ruffle his hair. "Hey buddy."
He laughed as he released his cousin. "That's what you get for playing Little Big Planet without me." Pushing his way in, Cash walked in the house as if it were his own. He had spent a lot of time here, it was another home to him. He did not wait for his cousin as he plopped himself down on the couch in front of the television in the living room.
"Oh great, you haven't started. I got here in time," he said as he took hold of a game console.

Before he could dodge it, Cash had slung an arm over him and ruffled his hair. "Gah..." Bucky muttered as he was finally let go. Running his fingers through his now even messier hair, he retorted, "You kidding me? How long before you gonna stop that?"
Sighing, he closed the door when his cousin walked in and made himself at home. If it were any other person, Bucky probably would've made a sarcastic remark but as it was, this was Cash. And this was as much Cash's home as it was Bucky's. Hmph, go figure. He seemed comfortable pretty much everywhere.
It was almost annoying.
The younger cousin joined the other on the couch, grabbing his own console and smirked. It was hard to stay mad at someone he considered like a brother. "You sure you can handle this, Hunter? I'm not gonna take it easy on you."

The older boy chuckled. "Hmm how about," he paused as if to show he was actually thinking about it. "Never?" he called out to his cousin as he made his way into the living room where he knew the video game would be set up.
At the challenge, Cash slowly turned his head to face his cousin and arched an eyebrow. "Prepare to die!" He shouted as he dramatically push a button in to unpause the game. Once the screen changed, the boy's jaw drop in horror. "How dare you, my man looks ugly." His head shook and he made a tsk tsk tsk sound, making the situation more dramatic than it is.
Finally, once he had his little man all dolled up in a belly dancer's dress, he was ready to play. "Game on, Bucky."

Bucky rolled his eyes at his cousin's dramatic flair. "Really? I think he looks just like you." In truth he did mess with Cash's avatar in his absence, dressing it up in a most distractive costume. His own avatar was a cross between a ninja and soldier of some sort. Much more macho. Directing it across the screen, he chose a game the boys could both agree on. "May the best Hunter win."
⭐
"Boo yeah!" Bucky leapt up from the couch and did a little victory dance. After a somewhat intense gaming session, they cleared the level and Bucky had the high score. Facing Cash, he smirked. "Prepare to die"? Hah. He sat back down and slung an arm around his cousin, ruffling his hair now. "Who's the man?"

The crown was given to the ninja soldier like avatar and Cash's little belly dancer man with the fez stood by with no victory. The console dropped from his hand and he chuckled as he watched his younger cousin perform his little dance.
He let his hair be ruffled. Bucky certainly loved showing off when he won. "The mighty Bach! All hail the shadowhunter!" He exclaimed dramatically, knowing full well he had made a reference to a movie or was it a book that came out a few years bach back.
Once the hair ruffling was done, the nineteen year old ran his fingers through his hair and swept it to one side. "Just so you know, while I may have lost but my little man in his belly dancer and fez get up is totally fabulous."

Bucky felt semi upset when his cousin didn't cry and whine at the loss but he supposed that had been too much to hope for anyway. He smiled when he was called a Shadowhunter. For a vain guy, he sure knew how to flatter someone. He bowed just as dramatically and threw air kisses when he straightened. "Thank you, thank you! I'll be here all night!"
Sighing with exhaustion, the boy plopped back onto the couch. He looked at Cash's avatar and tapped his chin as if he was seriously contemplating the statement. "Yes, I guess... He could look better in a, I don't know, a freakin' floating golden crown, maybe?" He smiled and waggled his eyebrows pointedly. "Then again, it was never meant for you anyway." He innocently tossed another piece of Skittles into his mouth.

The nineteen rubbed his palm over his jaw as he digested his cousin's words. He was right of course. The only thing his little man was missing was that floating crown which would complete the belly dancer and fez outfit. But Cash had not been playing the game as often as Bucky had. It was no wonder the other boy was crowned victorious.
Still. His little man did look fucking fabulous. It was the only outfit he liked allowed for it to wear.
Glacing at his cousin, he saw the piece of candy falling into its doom. With his super speed and fast reflexes, he quickly grabbed it and stuff it in his mouth. Then he grabbed the bag of Skittles as well. "Yeah, never think it was meant for you anyways." A smirk played on his lips as he stuffed some Skittles into his own mouth.

Bucky's mouth clamped shut and found, to his dismay, it was empty. Did he miss? A rustle of plastic drew his attention to his cousin. By reflex, he gasped dramatically. "How dare you!" But honestly, his heart felt a sharp twang of envy. Not because he lost a bag of Skittles; but because his cousin had just casually used his powers in front of him. Though he didn't tell anyone, losing his powers last year was still a sore subject for him.
He mentally shook himself. Don't go down that road, man. It wasn't Cash's fault. He didn't know. Nobody knew. To cover up his momentary lapse, the boy smirked and folded his arms behind his head. "Still can't fill that black hole you call a stomach? Stealing candy from children..."

The boy with the bag of candy ate its contents happily with no clue as to how his cousin felt about what he had just done. He knew what happened to Bucky was the exact opposite of what happened to him. He knew it was not a happy time. He also knew it was just one of those things that the two boys would never talk about and would much rather left it in the past.
They were good. At least that was what Cash Hunter believed.
"You know, it's actually pretty funny. Even if I did steal candies from a baby, they would love it. Because who can say no to this face?" He pointed to himself with his mouth full of Skittles. "But speaking of me stomach, what do you have in here?" Pushing himself off the couch, Cash dashed straight into the kitchen and raided Bucky's fridge.
"Ugh nothing looks junk enough." He slammed it shut and went back to the living room. "Hey why don't I run to the pizza deli and get us something. Whatcha want?" By this time, Cash was already nearing the door.

Good was not a word Bucky would've used for them. Really, he did try to let it go but it was insanely difficult. He only had those powers for about five years but it was ample time to become accustomed to it. In between that and growing up in a family of mutants, how could he just let it go?
Cash's rhetorical question about "saying no" brought him back to reality. Slowly, he raised his hand and gestured to it with his other hand incredulously. When his cousin went into the kitchen, Bucky used this time of absence to compose himself. Stop sulking, idiot. It's no one's fault but yours.
Hearing the complaint about the lack of junk food, he let out a laugh and stood. "Some of us actually have to work to keep out figures, Cashew," he called, gesturing to his body all feminine-like. He walked to follow his cousin and then leaned against a wall. Folding his arms across his chest, he looked down at his feet and muttered semi unconsciously, "I don't want anything." Unless you can somehow return my powers.

He let out a small chuckle at the comment on working out to keep in shape and the nut nickname he was called. What his cousin said was true. Even if Cash Hunter did not work out or keep himself active, he was still in shape -- much to the envy of others. It was all thanks to his super speed. Not only was he faster, but every particle in him were too. Though even with a good body, the boy got hungry easily and way too often.
"Don't be jealous. I told ya you should go jogging with me. And no, three miles isn't torturous. Plus, it'd do you good to get off the couch and give me a shot at winning Little Big Planet," he said as he playfully slapped his cousin's thighs.
"Oh come on now. Why don't I get you one of those salad or something? It's like the most popular thing among the girls cause they wanna keep in shape." He immitated his cousin's feminine like gesture down his own body.
Post by Bucky Hunter on Feb 13, 2016 9:24:49 GMT -6
"Don't be jealous..." If he only know how hard Bucky was trying to do just that. It was easy for him to say; Cash had a seriously high metabolism thanks to his powers. Admittedly, Bucky genetically did too but he ended up looking more lanky than fit. Unlike his cousin who pretty much had everything he could ever want without even asking. Bucky doubted he know how precious all these things were. Bucky knew. He knew all too well.
Letting out a yelp, he smacked the hand that touched his thighs. "Oh my gosh, it's like you have no boundaries!" He huffed. "I don't want a salad. Healthy means balanced, not simply dieting." Sighing, he grabbed his coat which hung by the door. "You know pizza takes time to cook, right? You can't just Flash your way there and back. I'll go with you."
Without waiting for a response, he opened the door and walked though, leading the way as he put on his red coat.

The nineteen year old was oblivious as to how his cousin truly felt. He did not even realized the poor choice of words. Since in his mind, the boy thought things were cool between the two. Though if he did find out about Bucky's jealousy, it would not be all that surprisingly really. Who did not wish they were Cash Hunter?
"Ouuu no boundaries!" he mimicked but in a much girlier tone. Come on, it was too funny not to. First it was the feminine like gesture, keeping fit and now the boundary shit. Cash laughed as he leaned against the wall and watched the younger boy.
Pushing himself off the wall, he followed Bucky's lead put the door and towards the pizza parlor. It did not take long for them to reach because under seven minutes, theu were pushing their way in.
"Ugh, we came at rush hour," he groaned as he saw the long line to the counter. "Might as well keep outselves busy. Hey lookie, your nine o'clock." He eyed the short blonde girl.
