Nathan wasn't an outdoorsy person. He wasn't particularly an indoorsy person either. He was a loner person, that was what he was. He didn't mind where he was, or what he was doing, as long as he was alone for at least sixty percent of his time. Nathan liked people. He liked making friends and he liked being around others, laughing and having fun - but he didn't like headaches, and if he stayed around people for too long, he would probably get one - either from listening to other people talk for so long, or because he needed a breather. He didn't need a breather right now, however. Nathan was just... enjoying his own company. There was nothing wrong with that.
And besides, he wasn't completely alone, technically. There were a few people out there, playing soccer, eating food, fighting. The usual. That was cool. None of those activities were really his thing (except eating, but who didn't love eating?), but good on all those people for putting themselves in danger of injury, food poisoning and more injury. Nathan would just stay over here where it was safe. He watched the world go by; considered the fact he needed to practice his serve for tennis a little more; considered the ball that was coming towards.
It was getting bigger and bigger, and Nathan couldn't work out why. Then, it hit him.
In the forehead.
Cue the poor little guy falling to the ground, whining, as the ball comedically pinged back. And now he had a headache. He huffed.

right between the eyes.
Surprisingly, it had been an okay day so far. A number of friendsacquaintances invited her for a game of soccer and she gladly accepted. Initially she worried she would have to face Lister again but he was not there--thank goodness. Soccer was something she could never let him ruin but he seemed to be involved in almost everything she did.
But being outdoors, running in the field... it was a good escape from all the stress. Here, she could focus on scoring goals, passing the ball, breaking a healthy sweat. It was almost enough to make her forget that her love life sucked.
One of the boys committed a foul against her so she got the chance to do a penalty kick. This was just a friendly game between friends but everyone wanted to win--and the opposing keeper was no different. Blair kicked the black and white ball, aiming for the corner of the goal.
Unfortunately, she missed and it bounced wildly off the bar, shooting straight to an unsuspecting passerby. The boy even fell over as it hit him right between the eyes. The others laughed wholeheartedly and Blair could not help but join them. Of all the things that could happen, what are the chances of this?
She approached him, taking the crazy ball and tucking it under one arm. She towered over the victim who lay sprawled on the ground. "Sorry about that, mate," she said, though still snickering lightly. She wiped a sweaty hand on her shirt and then held it out. "Are you okay?"
