She knew that this probably wasn't a very good idea. Although, that was the sole reason she'd come here in the first place, right? Curiosity? Now that she thought about it, checking out her sister's friends was rather stupid and childish. Like, it was a horrible reason for the Brit to change schools. Although, maybe it had only been a good excuse.
An excuse she could only put off for so long.
She'd managed to get some names from her sister and one Roxana happened to be one of them. She'd asked around and found out that the girl her sister held oh so close, happened to be quite the artistic type.
Some people had even claimed they'd seen her around the art studio. It had taken Ellie about half an hour before she'd managed to find the room and now while she was standing outside it, her hand on the handle, she was starting to feel all of her bravery run out.
This felt like such a stupid thing to be doing, but she couldn't just quit now, could she?
No. She couldn't.
Taking a deep breath, the blonde opened the door and peered her head inside. "Excuse me?" she called out, her voice feeble.

It was one of those times that Roxana had some free time to herself in order to enjoy her hobby that she had never been able to let go of. It helped that she was working on an assignment for class, but she still was all alone in the rom currently as she sat in front of her easel painting. The painting was that of a realistic looking all, sitting upon a small and broken tree just barely off the snow covered ground. The owl was a Snowy Owl, one that looked just like any other owl of its kind minus a few things. This owl had eyes that were a fierce blue; like Roxana’s, and it was clear that this bird had experienced a few things.
It could all been seen by the damage to the bird’s feathers from looking like they had been burned, removed, and even like the bird had been shot before. The painting was still far from complete but one could tell of the heart and soul that was put into the detailed painting. Those who knew Roxana would have known this was a self-portrait in a way, but very few actually knew her. That was how she liked it for the most part, even if she could not help but to long for those who did know her at least a bit more than most did. Rox heard the person come in before they spoke or even opened the door, but waited for them to come in and say something so she did not startled them or anything along those lines.
“Yes, did you need something?” Roxana asked in her usual emotional less voice as she put her burhs down and turned to face the one who was trying to get her attention. This girl…she was a transfer student and Rox had not gotten a chance to look at the new list and thus was unable to identify who this girl was. However; she looked familiar or at least felt familiar in a way. She was likely over thinking things. “I’m Roxana Strix. Am I the correct person you are looking for?” Roxana pointed out and then asked. Very few people actually sought her out unless they had a big problem that they needed security help with and since the girl did not behave like there was an emergency she wanted to be sure the girl had in fact been looking for her.

The monotone way of which the girl responded, had Ellie stopping short, eyes dropping to the floor as she attempted to speak. Instead, she stood still, shuffling awkwardly as she tried saying something, anything. God, what if she was bothering the girl? What if she was really busy and didn't want to talk? What if she wasn't nearly as nice to others as she'd been to Ellie's sister? Luxanna had detailed her to be such an amazing person. Creative, caring, strong and confident. Lux had also said that this girl was elegant and beautiful, which, from looking at her, Ellie had to agree with.
"Uhm," she finally began, "Yes, yes, you're the one I'm looking for, uhm." She lifted her gaze, her green eyes moving over the room. "If you're busy, I could come back later..." She didn't want to force herself on the girl. Especially seeing as she was here out of curiosity. Well, that and telling her sister's friends that Lux was okay and that she was getting better and the treatment was helping...
But still, Ellie couldn't help like she was barging head first into something she probably shouldn't have. "I'm uhm, Ellie, and I uh," she shuffled, eyes dropping to the floor again, her voice turning meeker by the second.

Roxana didn’t mean to come off as scary, intimidating, or anything along those lines. Well, it was not intentional but likely a result of her training and just how she behaved. All the same, she was not actually in a bad mood or anything like that at the moment. In fact, she was in a pretty good mood if not helped by the fact that she was in an environment where she was allowed to let out her creative freedom. She could easily tell that the other girl was already nervous and was adjusting to that to hopefully make it a little easier. She didn’t always try to come off ad friendly but several events made her desire to change just a little bit.
“You have found me.” Roxana responded when the other girl confirmed that she was in fact looking for her. Now the question was what the girl wanted. It could have been something super important and Rox had just ‘scared’ her in a way and now the other girl could not get it out. Rox was not sure, she was no mind reader but she could make a pretty good guess based on the younger girl’s body language and just how she was behaving. At first Rox remained where she was as the other girl started to talk but was clearly having a hard time with it.
So Rox moved, getting up from where she was, and went over to the other girl so she could hear her better and hopefully try and help the younger girl relax a little. The later was likely going to be a slight challenge. “I’m not busy, I assure you. Take as long as you need to tell me what it is you desire to say.” Roxana said, grabbing a stool and pulling it over to the girl. Sometimes being able to sit helped, but if the girl didn’t want to sit that was also fine. “Nice to meet you Ellie, you have a beautiful name.” Roxana responded and that was the truth. Did she like E names?
