Inviting the whole student body to her house probably wasn't the best idea she's ever had. Of course, just having Isaac over wasn't either so to compensate for that awkwardness she wanted to avoid, the sanest solution apparently was to fill her home with strangers she probably would never speak to again. Nobody ever gave the impression that Addison Sloane was the sharpest crayon in the box.
She had stolen all the numbers she had from the student directory and sent out a mass text inviting them to her house. She had stocked her pantry with so much chip and dip, she probably wasn't allowed to go to the same grocery store ever again to buy any more.
With Drew Conner suddenly going legit, Addison had to reach out to another illegal trader to get the kegs that were always prominent in party movies and by the time 9 o'clock rolled in, her backyard was littered with the kegs in tubs of ice. But let's face it, nothing actually mattered. She only wanted to see one thing tonight.
It just didn't happen to be the first person that knocked on her door.

Richard was a bit surprised when he received a text message inviting him to a party. He saw there were a lot invited but that didn't both him. Kalispell might have been some small town to those who came here from around the country but compared to his tiny town this place was a city in his mind. He was excited to see what the party held and since it said something about gifts he went on the assumption that it was some kind of birthday party. It would be his first college party, something he had never thought of when he got sent here.
As he thought it was birthday party he had bought some perfume for the birthday girl and wrapped the box it came in snuggly. He approached the door a few minutes before the party should start. He pulled out his phone and saw he was early and stood there on the front porch. It was rude to show up early he had been taught. After the minutes ticked away and it was just the right time he rang the door bell.
He stood there waiting in his dark blue jeans that looked fairly new as they were rarely warn. He had on an untucked button down plaid designed shirt, done in shades of green, dark green, and thin lines of a darker golden color. He knew maybe it betrayed his rural roots wearing something to the party like this but it was what he wore on a casual event like this. Though he could have sworn he saw something in the backyard. He would wander around the side to back there if nobody answered in the next five minutes or so.
He stood there with the light blue tissue paper wrapped box and wondered who he might run into here. He recognized a few of the names as he ran into some of them. In particular Selina being here he had hoped. There time back in the training room had left a mark for sure.

Jun-Aaron Starr was actually pretty surprised that he had gotten the text, let alone the invite to a party. Not that he saw himself as unpopular; how could a male model be unpopular? It was more so that he didn't think that Addison would invite him to hang out; let alone her house, when they had only talked here and there since the last time they met. Unless he was getting her confused with someone else and they had not actually talked to one another since that whole fair event.
He figured he had only been invited to fill up the guest list, but it didn't really matter to him. He was still going to show, drop off a gift, and possibly hang out if the party seemed to be interesting or someone really wanted to interact with him. He had done this sort of social thing a lot, but again he mostly just smiled, did ideal chat, and would leave. Show up, be seen, answer a few questions, and then leave where the ways of his particular modeling career.
He figured he show up early to let Addison know he was there and go from there, but someone had apparently beat him to it. No matter. He approached the doorstep with a bottle of wine in his hands, giving the guy a nod as he approached the door and gave it a hard knock. In case the other guy had not done that or had not knocked hard enough. He could not help but look the guy over, wondering if he was a random or if Addison invited him. If it was the later, what was it about him that got him the invite? "Addison! I brought wine!" Jun announced, since he wanted to crack it open and start drinking.

A party? What would a party in Kalispell be without Frank Cox? Frank certainly didn't know, and she definitely wasn't going to let this one go by without her having to attend. Now, given that she had more or less heard about it, she wasn't entirely certain how much prep this Addison person had put into things. Being a caring individual, Frank wanted to make sure that she could help out this girl who wanted to throw a party.
And she managed to arrive pretty early. Technically she'd been gathering things together, and what she had on hand now kinda took a bit of maneuvering to get ready. "And I brought the cannon!" Frank announced, wheeling the bright pink monstrosity into view. "Also, there's, like," she pursed her lips for a moment, "some extra energy drinks, aaaaaaand I think I might have brought the cotton candy machine?"
Frank leaned against the cannon, considering. She looked at the guy she'd come in after. "Oh hey, you're pretty cute. Frank," she extended a hand her way. "I'm the one who brought the cannon."

Addison heard the doorbell ring and with one last unnecessary check of her outfit, she answered the door to at least one familiar face. Her smile brightened at Jun Aaron's greeting before it wavered ever so slightly at the blonde's announcement. "What?" She laughed forcefully before turning to the other stranger at her doorstep.
"Richard, right?" She held one hand up and smiled before turning to the blonde. "I guess you're Frank. Thanks for coming! Come on in I'll uh...handle the cannon." She looked at Frank and then the cannon and wondered what on earth possessed her to bring such an item.

It wasn't that surprising that Samai had been invited, let alone a bunch of other students. She was known to be apart of the popular crowd, and that often came to her advantage. Like being invited to a party that college students would be showing up to. There would be booze, food, music... and hopefully cute guys. Not to mention, Samai never went anywhere empty handed; A lesson from her parents. Though, she wasn't old enough to drink or buy alcohol legally, she managed to pull some strings and come prepared.
By the time she got to the address she could already hear the other cheer member shout about bringing a canon. Yeap. She was at the right spot. The door had already been cracked open from the last person so Samai just let herself in while shutting the door behind her. Probably wasn't necessary to announce her arrival, so she just made her way to the kitchen, taking out three bottles of Ciroc out of the large brown back and setting them on the table.
She managed to head over and check out this cannon. What would they need a cannon for? Anyway, she assumed the host Addison had to be the girl near Frank and not the other two guys, "Hey! I brought a few bottles of ciroc and left them in the kitchen. I figured you'd know where you wanted them..." She then did a slight finger wave to everyone else before moving towards the backyard so she could check out the set up. She was curious.

It actually took a moment for Akeem to remember who this Addie person was. Then he remembered the bag of nuts. Did he want to go to her party? Sure. Not much for her as he would for the fact it was a party and pretty much every college students had been invited. From what he remembered of Addison, she was rather pretty and that did play in his decision of attending her party but he mostly just wanted to enjoy one. School was too boring if you couldn’t have some of those every now and then. And who cared if he didn’t know half of the people invited. Parties were the perfect excuse to meet new people and Akeem sure was not afraid of that.
He came with a bottle vodka, figuring it would be enough and that he would not bring a gift that he could not enjoy as well to begin with. The door was open when he arrived, certainly because whoever came before him did not really bother to close it. Or Addie herself thought it was more convenient. Either way, he walked in, looking around at the few people already here, thinking he should have waited longer for more to be present while he walked in. Too late now and Akeem could still go with this. That is, until he walked to the girl in question and saw the one near her.
“Oh, fuck no!” he let out quite against himself. But what else was he supposed to exclaim when he recognized Frank Cox? He didn't think he said it too loud so maybe she wouldn’t have heard him. Either way, he had to make sure to hide before she actually saw him. Possibly even make a run for it.

"You sure you got it? There are permits and training and it's pretty light on the trigger. Just, like, a nudge and it'll shoot confetti everywhere," Frank reached out and mimicked an explosion with her arms, of course adding sound effects as she did so. She paused as she saw the pretty girl she didn't recognize approach, waving.
"Waaaait, were we supposed to bring booze? is this one of those parties? Man, I always bring the cannon to the booze parties and the booze to the cannon parties! I can totes make--" Frank paused, however, as she thought she saw someone ducking away. She narrowed her eyes, standing up on her toes and straining to get a better look. It looked like... like Algonquin, her secret lover of mysterious race, but she couldn't quite be sure.
And there was a distracting Asian guy with pretty wings and another girl. "Man, Addie," Frank said, turning back to the host. "You really attract all the pretty exotic peeps, don'tcha?"

Jun-Aaron was pleased that Addison seemed happy to see him again, it at the very least meant that she had honestly enjoyed her time with him. That their little meetup at the fair was not a onetime thing and that she would likely want to hang out again. So the party invention was indeed for him and he was happy that he choose to go. A girl had showed up with what she called her cannon, and it was indeed something cannon like. Why had she brought that? Just what was she planning on firing at of it? Jun wanted to know but at the same time he could not help but to be concerned if there was a fire hazard involved at all.
He could not help but to chuckle a little at her calling him 'pretty cute' and introducing herself. "You are pretty cute as well. I'm Jun and it's nice to meet you." Jun responded back. It was indeed nice to meet her because she seemed like a pleasant woman. One that had a canon, but she had not done anything too out there yet to cause any concern. The Addison was answering the door, allowing Jun to get a look at her place and see her again. She looked the same, which was a complement of course. "Nice place you have here." Jun informed her, before he would head in so he was not just standing in the doorway and taking up space for people to come in.
Addison ended up greeting that other guy that had showed up, so he felt like he should give her space and went to find himself somewhere comfortable to sit. Other people were showing up then and Jun made sure to get himself a spot that was nice and comfortable. He didn't plan to stay too long, but at least long enough to have a few drinks and see how things went.

"Thank you! And no Frank it's absolutely fine. I mean I know I said presents were welcome but this...well." Addison chuckled before nodding at the other light haired girl. "That's absolutely fine."
She was about to wave at Akeem when he apparently made a dash elsewhere so she shook her head and let everyone in.
Her attention was back on Frank and she laughed. "Well, yes. parties with booze usually does that. You can go to the back straight with the cannon if you wanted. Just...keep it away from the kegs.
"I mean I know my house is in the middle of nowhere but I think keg cannons might actually distract the neighbours." She chuckled.
Jun's compliment had her smiling and she gestured for him to come in. "Thanks. Nothing special. What's special is at the back. And help yourself to the food and drinks."
She was surprisingly adept at being a hostess it seems. Yes, crowds were so much better for the rising starlet.
Post by Selina Taylor on Sept 22, 2015 22:11:21 GMT -6
Selina made her way over to the house she'd never been to before to party with a girl she'd never met. Sounded like a typical weekend. At least there'd be booze, and lots of it, if she'd understood correctly. It was always a comfort to know that if everything went to hell, at least she could still get blindingly drunk.
But wow, nice place. Even if she did have to hitch a ride to get there. Luckily, Selina had ended up with a rather interesting network of people who all had access to actual cars. Even if some looked down on her for her promiscuous choice in lifestyles, they couldn't deny she had a knack for socializing.
Selina waved at the pretty hostess before making her way around to the back where it seemed she was directing the majority of people, far more interested in alcohol at the present moment. She could meet and greet later after she'd had a few drinks... or more. Selina wasn't nervous around people at all, but alcohol still had a relaxing effect on her in terms of being around large crowds. She recognized a few and nodded to them as she made her way past, smiling brightly as she saw Frank, but priorities were priorities and alcohol came before everything and everyone else at this point.

“No, not French kiss, just French. You know, that language I speak and you only want to know the dirty words of.” Yes, it was how he knew Addison. The girl wanted to learn French and apparently decided that the French guy of the school would be a better teacher than the French teacher of the school. Weird? Maybe, he didn’t know. It was not like he bothered to take French class when he could speak and write the language perfectly. You had to trust the twins to tease him with what other French things he might be teaching her though. Even if the idea of Franck teaching how to French kiss, to a girl no less, was so ridiculous you could only laugh at it.
“And her name’s Addie,” he told them as he walked towards the door, turning to eye at Casper & Jasper Emory. He could have gone alone. He was the one invited. But he didn’t feel like going without Jasper around. Not that he feared getting bored or hit on by someone he might not be able to push away. No doubt Frank was here and he could always stick around her if someone was getting too clingy. But he wanted to do that with Jasper. He liked to show they were together. Even if some might wonder if he was with his, his brother or the two of them.
The twins had been sitting in the back of the car. Franck chose to bring Addison chocolate. He didn’t know which ones she’d like so he took a bit of everything, just chocolate, filled with caramel, fruits, all sorts of ganache and even some with a bit of alcohol in them. And he didn't want the twins to eat them all so the box was on the front seat and they were at the back.
Once inside, he noticed Frank and waved at her with a bright smile before going to Addison. “Hi Addie,” he told her with the same bright smile. He offered her the bag with the several chocolates in it. “You can hide them if you don’t want to share with anyone,” he said with a chuckle in his voice. “I’ve brought people. You said you didn’t mind. My boyfriend Jasper and his brother Casper. Don’t worry if you get their names wrong, even when you get it right they like to pretend they are the other one,” he told her, turning around and hoping they were indeed there while he introduced them to her.

What a strange turn of events. This had had definitely not been one out of the typical category. First, I bloodied man in need of assistance. Then, that same kid inviting him to a boozing spree at some random party. Lorenzo had only assumed the kid had went to Bellefonte, I mean the whole situation was peculiar and what wasn't peculiar about BA students?
Now they had walked several blocks, making pointless small talk and chatting. He could tell the kid was a mutant, something about him just... clicked. It was just a hunch. He would be assured at the party. Mutants mostly only hung around other mutants, for safety of powers being revealed and what not.
They had both came to the house that the Thomas had been talking about. You could hear the voice from half a block away. Nothing too insane just certain chatter and music. Lorenzo had been hoping for a rager, but the night was still young. He gestured for Tom to ring they door bell, "Ladies first." He waited then for someone to answer, hoping they would invite him in.

Jasper was still giving Franck a look when his boyfriend had said French and him automatically assuming that meant that Franck was French kissing this girl that was hosting this party. Franck was in the right to kiss a girl, their relationship was still an open on, but Jasper felt some type of way. Wait, no he didn't mind as much in the case of it being a girl since girl was pretty lovely. If it had been a guy, then he would have been worried and felt like he would have to have been worried about competition or something like that. "Just wanted to be sure I heard right." Jasper responded as he followed along with Franck and his brother close behind him.
"Dirty words are the best in every language, just saying." Casper pointed out with his brother nodding in agreement. They wanted to be able to say several dirty words in several different languages. it was actually one of their goals by this point and Franck was helping with learning things in French part; which they thought was perfect since it was supposed to be the love language and all that. Who didn't want to say 'such my junk' in the love language? Minus that they would not use the word junk and instead the actual word for it. They were both still iffy about this whole party thing when they were allowed to be here and not really crashing said party.
"Addie?" The brothers said in unison. They were just making sure that they had heard right and that was the girl's name. Why did they feel like they had heard that somewhere before? They didn't overthink it and instead just gave a nod and moved to follow Franck into the house. That was until they saw what was out for them to be able to eat and drink; they wanted it all. The siblings were already going to wonder off until Franck was calling out to his Addie friend and introducing them. The boyfriend and the brother. They gave a wave and were smirking as they switched the side they were standing next to one another.
"Hey." The brothers said in unison before they were then slipping off to go check out the food and drinks. They liked to eat, Franck knew that already so should not have been surprised at them already going to wonder off to go try and stuff their faces.

Alex was late. This was nothing new, Alex was always late. She didn't even really have an excuse this time. Ezra, which she was currently dragging toward the door by the hand, had been ready long before they were set to leave. Alex, in the other hand, had lost track of time and only put down her video game controller after the seventh or eighth time Ezra warned her they were going to be late.
"Come on!" She urged, tugging on Ezra's hand. She was practically trying to run up the walkway that lead to the house at this point. "We're late!" Although she furrowed her brow, thinking for a moment before she turned her eyes up to Ezra apologetically. She knew why they were late. Ezra didn't need to point it out to her.
The tiny, redheaded pixie didn't bother with knocking, this was Addie's house, after all, it wasn't like she hadn't been here before. She burst in through the front door and pulled Ezra along after her. Only when her eyes spotted the similarly short host of the party did Alex let go of Ezra's hand. "ADDIE!" Alex exploded forward. It didn't matter who Addie was talking to or what about. A diminutive, multi-colored missile was on its way to tackle her.
