It has come to my attention that a number of apps are being made that do not meet or push up against the rules set forth about them. So to save time I'm making this stickied and an announcement.
Please take the time to read out rules and our rules especially on powers.
Here

This is extremely important that you read and understand these rules and the information in here so we can all avoid troublesome drama revolving around powers.
First, let me reiterate one of the most important rules in there:
WE DO NOT ALLOW MAGIC. PERIOD.
This RPG is based in the real world, and in the real world we take science as far as we can within the bounds of a fantastical story. But we do not allow magic of any kind and this includes things like demons/oni and so on. This allows us to keep the story balanced and to avoid having incredibly ludicrous powers without a good explanation. These rules are here to keep things fair and moving along for everyone in the game. And as always if you have a problem with anything. BRING IT UP TO STAFF.
In regards to high-level powers. Please bear in mind the more intense your power, the more intense the consequences or costly drawbacks it will have. This is important if you want to have a strong power. In fact, a good example is the school headmaster who will be among you soon:
He has an incredible power, one that can effectively alter the pace of the game. The catch? The more he uses it, the close he comes to dying. He can only use it a total of seven times before he dies of it's severe effects. If he uses it in a certain way, he can very easily kill someone without much thought but the effect on him remains the same. Not to mention post use he's more dead than alive.
This simple paragraph should give you an idea of what having an extremely powerful mutation is like.
It does not matter how well trained a mutant is with their power, or how beneficial the power is to them, there must be drawbacks otherwise you will be asked by your reviewer to make changes, if you do not without good reasoning, The power will be declined.
Lastly, BANNED and LOCKED POWERS must be heeded. If a power is on the banned list, its probably there for a good reason. If it's on the locked list, ask staff about what you have in mind, if it sounds unique and playable enough, we may allow you to play the power despite it's set being locked.
Remember. TALK TO STAFF, we're here for you! We're committed to making BA a fun and open place for everyone but this cannot work if you don't follow the rules or you don't talk with staff. We're always willing to make changes provided they work well for the site. Most importantly if they work For Everyone.
