Devyn always enjoyed those giggles from Zoe but she did enjoy the blushing even more so was very pleased to see the embarrassed blush. If Zoe kept it up she was not going to wait for Zoe to 'let it go' or bold up and kiss her first. Devyn really did prefer for someone else to make their first move, it was safer that way. She was only human...well a mutant, but that was still human in the since that she made mistakes. She could have read the 'signs' or misunderstood someone’s intentions and it was horribly embarrassing to kiss someone who didn’t want to be kissed nor had no intentions of ever kissing you. Granted she was pretty certain that Zoe wanted to kiss her, and Devyn was slightly getting tired of holding herself back. Yet she still held on as best she could so that Zoe did it when she was ready and wanted to. Can't live in fear over what you can do.[/i Devyn thought to herself as she looked at Zoe for a moment before glancing around to make sure everything was...well normal.

There was a lot you could get away with while never having your clothing removed, and Devyn would have been fine showing Zoe all of these things. Yet again however she was waiting. Trying to wait anyways. Zoe was her friend first and that attraction to the other girl was just going to have to go to the back of her mind. If it stayed back there long enough Devyn knew she would be fine around Zoe. Only negative or positive depending on how you saw it was. At a certain point, Devyn would possible feel weird kissing the other girl. Like if she were to kiss Kitty, it just be weird. Devyn had a huge smile on her face at seeing how red Zoe got. She wanted to snag out her phone and get a photo of it, but she was going to be nice and not get a photo she for sure uses to get Zoe to blush more lately.

"Oh darn. Guess that is fine too." Devyn said, watching Zoe lift her hand up and give it a kiss. The numbness there, but Devyn was pretty much use to that happening now and she didn’t growl or get worried about it at all. She saw that Zoe looked like she was going to say something but like usual Zoe would bit her lip and not say anything. "One day I'm just going to bite you lip when you don’t say what’s on your mind." Devyn spoke up as they walked, messing with her shades a little as she glanced around. Being out in the sun was not the greatest things in the world, but she deal with it for Zoe and for the sake of having some fun. She could smell the coffee shop before the even got then, it was a nice smell, bit bitter, but it made her feel warm. Moving to bring Zoe's hand up to her lips and give it a kiss.

"Beauty before beast." Devyn said as she gave something of a bow and went to get the door and hold it open for Zoe. Her line worked out pretty well since she was kind of a beast when you thought about it. She still had to show Zoe her power...at some point. However if she was being honest she was slightly worried about doing so.

One of these days, Zoe would have to try kissing Devyn somewhere that wasn't fingers while the girl was still awake. Just thinking of that little peck was enough to case Zoe to blush, though, thankfully, that was just putting red on red by this point. There had been another comment about biting there, and Zoe was almost tempted to ask about that, especially because she wasn't sure what would happen with a bite. She imagined that any little lip contact would result in some tingling feeling, but she didn't know if her power would work on that.

Then Devyn was bringing Zoe's hand up to her lips, giving it a kiss, and for some reason, that was just the last push she really needed. She tugged Devyn a little further into the shop, positioned them so they were still in, but out of the way, then took a deep breath. Then another. Then she grabbed Devyn's hands. Then she let them go (or at least tried to). Then she took another deep breath.

"Devyn, is this a date?" she asked, looking mostly down at Devyn's feet. "I mean, would you like it to be? If it was? If it was supposed to be our first date, would that--" She took a deep breath then stomped her foot, "Oooh, I'm just messing this all up! It's just that you're my friend, but I like you and I'm just," she took another deep breath, looking around the coffee shop as if there was something there that could somehow magically grant her either the words she needed or the courage to say words that were bubbling at the back of her mind. There weren't even that many people, and most of the ones there weren't really paying attention to them. And looking at Devyn while things just hung there like that was just... too hard for Zoe. She bit her lip and eventually settled on looking mostly down.

Devyn never really knew about that kiss that one night when they watched Frozen together. She had been in a deep sleep by then, all comfortable, and she did plan on doing it again. It have to be something different then just watching a movie and then ending it snuggled with one another to sleep. Maybe have like do each other’s nails...talk about boys....What where you supposed to do with people other than watch movies and snuggle to sleep with them? With Kitty they would talk and end it with snuggles. Just talking could work. Just lying there and asking Zoe about herself and then Devyn answering any questions Zoe had in return. Yeah, that could work, that was going to be her plan next time she was going to give Zoe a late night visit. She was just thankful staff did not like check their bedrooms, so she was able to sleep in others rooms, just had to get there before curfew or be really sneaky.

After she gave Zoe the kiss to her gloved hands she was tugged a little further into the coffee shop. She is really determined to get this coffee. Devyn thought to herself, figuring Zoe had wanted to focus on getting the coffee and that’s why she pulled Devyn in, but they were not over by the counter, no they were more so out of the way. She looked at Zoe as she took a deep breath, grabbed her hand, and then let them go. Devyn didn't even really know what was up, she had an idea but she could have been off. Since they were still out in public and Zoe seemed to be working on some deep breathing exercises. Was she having a panic attack? Did Devyn miss something or say something that had pushed Zoe too far?

She opened her mouth to answer Zoe's question but didn’t say anything. Zoe had asked her out for coffee, so that was Zoe's call if it was a date right? People didn’t have to be going out in order to be going out on their first date. Tons of people had first dates that didn’t lead to a relationship, so Devyn didn’t really mind if it was or not. "Just take a deep breath Zoe. It’s alright. I would be fine with it being a date if that is what you want it to be." Devyn answer but it came out like slightly like a question because she was not sure. She was not really use to being asked this question, well back when she was fifteen she did, but that was two years ago.

Devyn was tempted to lean in and nip at Zoe's lip because she did that open mouth to say something but didn’t and would bite her lip. She didn’t however because Zoe seemed to be trying to settle things and Devyn didn’t want to pressure her into anything or make her feel like she needed to do anything. So she remained still and in front of Zoe, looking at her with her green eyes. "How do you like your coffee?" Devyn asked, figuring to ask something else back to what Zoe had originally planned for them to have this little outing for.

Zoe took a deep breath as Devyn reassured her that it was perfectly fine if this was a date. "I do like you," said Zoe, blushing deep again, "like that, so you don't need to sound all questioning, but," she bit her lip, shifting. Which likely made it easier for that comment to slip in. Zoe's eyes widened for a moment, remembering that she had, in fact, planned on this being a coffee talk situation. It hadn't even originally been a date, but it had always been that.

"Sweet and complicated," she said. Then she giggled, raising a hand, thinking of how that could be her. She took another breath, then reached to take Devyn's hand again. She loved feeling those fingers interlaced with hers, and maybe now that she'd had the courage to actually admit some romantic feelings, Devyn would be... well, even more aggressive than before. Zoe took another deep breath, loving that she got to inhale coffee as she did so. She then paused, fidgeting.

"Um," she said, sounding small again, "I've--you're---I haven't actually... been on a date, with a girl," she blushed, and then practically squeaked: "I'm not sure how it works," oh how she wanted to just crawl into a hole. She'd been on dates! She really had! There had been a cute boy a few years ago who had been incredibly sweet to Zoe. And before him, Ava had set her up on a date with a friend of a friend who had a crush on Zoe. It hadn't worked out all that well, but it had certainly been a date. But the closest thing Zoe'd had to a date with another girl was, well, when she spent time with Ava. And it did occur to Zoe that she'd probably have to explain Ava to Devyn sometime, likely when the other inevitably got more physical and Zoe got more fidgety.

Devyn was not really surprised to hear that Zoe liked her; she did expect that in fact for a while now. It was more so the fact that Zoe had said it; making it clear that she liked Devyn that way even. Had Zoe been ready to let it go now or was she still in the process? It made sense if Zoe was not full on ready to just let it all go; she had that power and clearly a past that she had not shared yet with Devyn. Who did in fact still have it logged in her memory to ask about later. Might be what she brings up at their next sleepover. That way it was just them and if Devyn was holding her, maybe Zoe would feel more at ease to share with her.

Devyn was not really sure what to say back in all honestly. She did like Zoe. A lot, even that way. It was a mix of physical and mental attraction for the other girl for sure. Yet Devyn knew herself and that she was going to need that physical aspect involved at some point. There were things she could still do to Zoe even with Zoe in clothing and she did plan on testing said things out at some point. She had a theory that if she just pleased Zoe a lot and got her to dump 'the feel good chemical' then maybe it counteract Zoe's powers. It was a stretch but it was an idea. Had to be a way around it. Would suck for Zoe if she never found out a way to turn it off at least even for a few minutes. "Sounds like the drink for you. Think I just get my straight black." Devyn responded with a slight chuckle, she could have gotten something sweet but bitter would help keep her in check; at least that was what she was telling herself.

She is just so cute and innocent. Here I am taking it all away. Am I a bad person? Possibly. Devyn thought to herself for a moment as Zoe went on about how she never went out on a date with anyone before. She gave Zoe's hand a squeeze with the one that Zoe seemed to always love holding her hand with their fingers tangle together. Kind of like bodies. Devyn thought for a small moment which made her smirk, but focused still. "Well for first dates it’s kind of just to get to know the other person better. Some people think the person who asked the person out should pay, but I'm up for splitting the bill, paying for us both or paying for ourselves." Devyn informed Zoe because she really was fine with either of the choices. Granted Devyn didn’t have a job so she was not rolling in the money but she had enough.

"So really first dates are kind of a meet and greet and seeing if you feel like you and the person would work out together. Basic goal being to enjoy it enough that you both want to go out on another date.” Devyn said as she gave Zoe's hand a little tug towards her to get Zoe to be closer to her. "First dates don’t meant that you are officially locked in dating the other person either, so just relaxes and have fun with me, okay?" She gave a warm smile to Zoe, going to lean in and give Zoe a quick kiss on her nose before moving to head over to the counter and would look to Zoe to order first.

Of course Devyn had to explain what a date was and Zoe blushed even further. She reached over and sort of nudged Devyn with the hand not holding the other girl's. "I know what a date is! I'm cute, remember? I've been on dates, just..." she bit her lip, averting her eyes, "with boys, and I didn't know if the rules are different or something," okay, that sounded lame, but how was Zoe supposed to know this? She wasn't sure if Devyn was the boy and she was the girl or what. Actually, that sounded wrong; Zoe didn't want to date a boy: she wanted to date Devyn, who was a girl, a handsome girl right now, sure, but definitely a girl.

Okay, so she could get over that little mental hurdle, if by sort of nudging herself over it and taking light steps and all. Didn't mean she was likely going to relax right away. Devyn should probably figure that Zoe got nervous on first dates. This was a little different, since she already knew Devyn, knew that she liked Devyn, and pretty well knew that a second date was all but a sure thing (and likely to be Devyn's idea, though Zoe wasn't sure how long she could go without at least spending time with the other girl).

Devyn was at the counter now; Zoe needed to catch up. She hurried up there, blushing again and digging into her jacket pocket to come up with a thin leather wallet. "Yes, I'll have---" and Zoe then filled in a rather complicated coffee drink order, one that involved some creams, sugars, and likely a coffee swirl. Then she took a breath, and pointed a little behind her, "and I'll be buying hers too; she's my date," she said, smiling nervously at the barista and feeling far, far too excited to be admitting something like that.

Devyn snickered at the playful nudge from Zoe and stuck her tongue out at the other girl again. "Oh yes, very cute. How many boys Zoe? Had them all following you around like puppies? Had your first kiss with one of them, yes?" Devyn asked in a teasing manner and could not help but to chuckle a little at Zoe's statement about never having gone out on a date with another girl. So question is am I the first girl she had feeling for or is it this Aya person? Probably that Aya person. Devyn thought to herself for a moment and just smiled at Zoe. "Well it’s pretty much the same. Normal you still call a person a girlfriend since they are in fact a girl, but I have been called a boyfriend by those who have not been ready to come out of the closet or by guys who wanted to pretend that they were gay for some reason." Devyn informed Zoe, leaving it again to Zoe to decide what she wanted to do.

She was not even counting them as going out yet, since Zoe did not really ask and it was a first date and all. There was for sure going to be dates, but they did not really have to be labeled as dates if Zoe didn’t want them to be. She tended to think of things as hanging out. Only when things would get a little more intimate would she count them as a date. She held hands and cuddled with other people she did not date, so a kiss or like a nuzzle into her neck could be counted as intimate. Oh! Idea! Devyn was hit with what they could do for their next date/hangout. Since Devyn was not bringing in a lot of money she was going to cook Zoe dinner and just eat it in…Zoe's room. No, she felt ready to let Zoe go into her room. Questions now were, would Zoe be alright with going into Devyn's room and how long should she wait until she would invite Zoe out? Wonder how long I could stay away before she seek me out.

"I am indeed her date and I'll have ---" Devyn added in after Zoe pointed her out as her date, ordering a simple black coffee, a small one because she did not need a caffeine rush or anything. She just found it so cute at how Zoe called her, her date. Zoe seemed so proud about it and it was because of Zoe's boldness that Devyn didn’t say what else she wanted to, to the person who was taking their order. She was going to mouth that she was going to take all of Zoe's innocence, but she didn’t. Yes she was very tempted to say it, thought about it, and kind of was planning on it. It was Zoe's power that really had her holding back and Zoe as well. Sure Zoe had come out of her shell a lot around Devyn, but she was still uneasy about touching skin to skin. Devyn understood why, but again she liked others to make the first move. She wanted someone to say 'hey, will you be my girlfriend' and give that first kiss. That was like her rule of sorts; her standards in other words.

"We can just go back and forth with random questions while we drink, if you like." Devyn suggested, not knowing what Zoe had in mind after they got their drink. She was even going to leave picking where they sat Zoe's choice. If Devyn picked she have them over in a corner on a lounge chair, having Zoe sit on or with her and snuggle the other girl close while they would sip on their coffee.

Zoe blushed as Devyn teased her about the various boys. There hadn't been that many, which the photographer was tempted to say, and yes, she had her first kiss with one of them. Zoe'd already had both her first kiss in a general sense and her first kiss with a girl already, though she wasn't sure how much of that she should be sharing with Devyn. Probably all of it, eventually, given that Zoe figured that Devyn would continue to be... affectionate.

Zoe just had to figure if she minded that.

It sounded like at least some of the basic dating rules applied: assuming that Devyn and she elected to keep dating (and Zoe was pretty much figuring that they would, barring unfortunate circumstances), they'd be "girlfriends." Zoe might be shy about a lot, and she likely would be shy about having a girlfriend, but it wouldn't be the girl part of it that she was shy about. Thanks to Devyn, that part of Zoe had been decided: she liked girls, or at least androgynous ones like Devyn. Who really cared? What mattered was this: Zoe was attracted to Devyn; she was going to date Devyn. Let other people worry about silly things like labels.

That struck Zoe as being great for a poem.
Which immediately made her worried that she'd get sappy and leave Devyn poems everywhere and that the other girl would get annoyed and break up with her about it, leaving Zoe devastated.
Then again, devastation did produce some nice art.

Devyn was indeed her date; Zoe nearly squealed at hearing that. The order was just what she'd expected, and Zoe waited impatiently while her date selected it. Then Zoe extended the appropriate amount of money, glad that she'd managed to make at least enough for this date. Zoe didn't exactly have a lot of money, but she certainly didn't mind spending it on Devyn.

"oh, that is a splendid idea!" she said, nodding. "I was hoping to get to know you a little better. I mean," Zoe blushed, looking down for a moment, "I already know a lot, the important stuff, but, I mean, I don't even know what you like to do for fun and stuff," she paused for a moment, took a breath, and forced herself to look at Devyn's eyes. She needed to be more assertive if she planned on being Devyn's girlfriend. "Besides flirting with pretty photographers, that is."

The blush gave it away that Zoe must of had at least dated two guys, possibly more but Zoe didn’t say anything, leaving Devyn wondering and curious. Devyn was also still wondering about this guy that had to have taken Zoe's first kiss. Heck she really wanted to know. "What was your first boyfriend like? WAs he the one you kissed and where?" Devyn just went ahead and ask, her mind already wondering off to picture how it happened. It had to have been a spur of the moment. Yes Zoe and the boy had to have been alone. Running late for class. Both having wanted to kiss each other really bad but both worried about how the other would react. Who was the bold one? Had to be the boy right? Zoe clearly knew how to flirt, but was she still bold enough to make the first move? She was going to have to be if she really did want to go out with Devyn.

Wonder why she wants to date me anyways? Devyn thought, and yes she got why people wanted to date and had been on dates, had boyfriends, and girlfriends. Just in some cases she did not get why people would want to date her, even more so the ones that knew her. They had to know she was a flirt and that sometimes her desires won over her better judgment. The longer she was in a relationship however, the better she got at staying...well committed. However with that commitment sometimes she would change too much and they would upset the other person. The person she dated the longer was a guy, and that was about six months, but they were more so best bros who messed around with one another like twice. Devyn had more friends with benefits then she did friends. Shortest relationship would have been with a girl and that lasted about two weeks until the girl lost it on Devyn when she caught her flirting.

"True, ask away then beautiful." Devyn said moving to grab her drink since hers did not take long at all. Just a simple black coffee after all. However she remained near Zoe while they waited for Zoe's drink to be made. Devyn had gotten distracted for a moment at a sniffing at her coffee, planning on waiting to drink it so she did not burn her tongue. However that gave her an idea. Would Zoe kiss it better if I burned it? Devyn could not help but to smirk at the thought, an eyebrow raising at the direct eye contract Zoe was giving her. She looked so determined and had an assertive will behind her. Did she really want to go out with Devyn that much, that she would do what she had to do in order for the two of them to be a thing?

"For fun...hmm...working out, practicing getting better control of my power, napping, snuggling with someone, eating meat, and...does sex count?" Devyn informed Zoe as she counted on her fingers as she listed things off, looking away for a moment but back to Zoe at her last question. Since she did have sex for fun, most of the time it was just because things happened, so she was not sure if it could be counted as real fun. Hell...I don’t do much. Heh, but I am lazy so that makes sense.

Zoe shrugged a little, "He was sweet. I was in middle school, so you can imagine what that was like. Lots of hand holding and the like. I can't remember why we broke up now, but I know we weren't together long. I, um, didn't get kissed till I was fourteen, I think? And, um, just lips and, uh, neck," she pointed. It wasn't that Zoe was against sex; it sounded like it could be enjoyable. She'd just always been shy, even before her power manifested, and she never really got that far in most of her relationships. That and, well, to be truthful, she'd mostly dated boys and they weren't as... attractive to her.

Devyn got her coffee; Zoe got her question answered. working out made sense; Devyn clearly was fit, far fitter than Zoe, and Zoe already knew about the cuddling and napping, having been a joint participant. Actually most of what Devyn said, even the last bit sounded a bit like what a cat did for fun, which did remind Zoe that she wasn't certain what the other girl's power was. However, she really wasn't focused on that, given that last statement.

Zoe worked her lip, bouncing a few times before deciding to just blurt out: "I don't know, is sex fun?" she then blushed, turned to look at the coffee, bounced on her toes, then turned and lightly punched Devyn on the arm. "That is so your fault! I wouldn't dare have said that if you weren't such a dreadful influence!" and Zoe blushed darker again, looking back to the coffee and willing it to come faster. Great, now that she'd apparently worked up an immunity to Deyvn embarrassing her, she did it to herself. Just splendid, that.

Devyn just smiled at Zoe as the other girl spoke, trying to picture what this sweet middle school boy looked like. Devyn had known for a while that she liked both genders, since middle school as well. Her parents didn’t even seem to mind, well her mother did but Devyn didn’t want to think about her. Pushing those thoughts out of her head and focusing on Zoe alone. Her smile turning to a smirk when Zoe mentioned where she had been kissed. "Noted. Lips and neck." Devyn said as she moved a little closer to Zoe, blowing on her coffee and taking a sip of it. It was bitter and she almost made a displeased face. Should have gotten something sweet. Then again...Zoe is here. She thought as she still looked at Zoe with a smirk on her face. "I might have to find this boy and ask him if you taste sweet. Unless you plan on giving me a sample at some point." Devyn said in a half teasing as she gave Zoe a wink.

Heh, she is thinking about it. Devyn thought as she saw Zoe's lips moving like she was going to say something. She didn’t expect Zoe to say anything so when she asked Devyn could not help but to start laughing. Laughing pretty hard in fact. Not like in an obnoxious loud way, but to the point that not laugh was coming out and she could not breathe for a moment. Almost spilling her coffee a little as she tried to take a sip of it, managing to get her laugh down to a chuckle. Not having laughed long. "Oh it can be very fun." Devyn managed to say closing the distance between her and Zoe some more. "I'm sure you will find out soon enough." Her words came out as a whisper as she had a devious smirk on her face. She was snickering again now as Zoe gave her shoulder a light punch. Devyn’s smirk turning devious as she made sure to keep a careful hold on her coffee so it did not spill.

"My fault huh? Are you saying I'm taking all your innocence away?" Devyn asked moving her free hand to go around Zoe's waist in order to pull Zoe flush against her body. "I might be planning on taking every bit of your innocence away. Even more so when you call me dreadful with that sexy accent." Devyn's words were still in a whisper as she kept her green eyes on Zoe, a hint of lust in them. She gave a soft growl before going to sip from her coffee and burning her tongue a little. "Ouch. Zoe, make it better. Please." Devyn said, her please having a certain tone to it as she stuck her tongue out teasingly. Glancing around the shop for a moment, just doing a quick scan to make sure everything was still pretty calm. “Where are we going to sit?” Devyn figured they ask so she knew where to go when Zoe would get her drink.

Oh, Zoe figured that Devyn would manage a taste... somehow. She still wasn't how; the details were more than a little fuzzy at this point, but Zoe figured that if anyone would find a way, it would be Devyn. Especially if they actually ended up dating more than just this. Though Zoe knew that she was certainly setting herself up for some sort of future heartache. Her brain, useful organ that it was, kept telling her that. Devyn was a flirt, a flirt that liked physical contact; she might be fine teasing Zoe now, but what would happen when Zoe made it clear that there couldn't be as much touching? Well, just skin to skin; Zoe liked Devyn enough that she'd probably let the other girl touch wherever she wanted so long as there was something between them. Oh dear, Zoe could feel herself getting flushed for entirely new reasons now.

Very fun; sex is very fun; that definitely did not help with the flushing. Nor did Devyn's all too sultry promise that Zoe would find out. This actually stunned Zoe. Not that she didn't figure that Zoe found her attractive, but this was sex, this meant that Devyn found Zoe, she found her sexy. Oh, Zoe's power was ever so unfair! Here she was with someone who liked her and argh. She was getting all worked up, and there wasn't a darn thing she could do about it. Not that they could really do anything anyway.

Then a hand snaked around poor Zoe. She let out a little gasp, then leaned back into Devyn, closing her eyes to better listen. Wasn't someone like Devyn the perfect person to give your innocence to? Someone who clearly liked and respected you, someone who understood that you could be dealing with your own issues, and, well, someone who was obviously sexually experienced and understanding. If she said she loved me, I'd probably try to find some way for us to make love in the bathroom, flitting across Zoe's mind, causing her to flush. She'd always been one to wear her heart on her sleeve, and to think far, far too much, but honestly, she was ever so glad that Devyn wasn't a telepath.

"What is your power?" Zoe blurted out, not quite realizing that Devyn has asked a question. She slapped her hands to her face, letting out a little groan of frustration and foot stamping. "I'm sorry! You're just making me dreadfully confused! I'm not used to someone so sexy..." she bit her lip and averted her eyes, looking to the barrista. That coffee arriving would be really convenient right now.

Too bad that Fate obviously likes screwing with Zoe.

Devyn just kept her eyes on Zoe, wondering what was going on that cute head of hers that was making her blush and just keep getting redder and redder. Devyn was still pleased either way that her words still had an effect on Zoe. Granted she was not sure if anyone would able to fully get use to her words. Unless someone was vastly straight and had no interest in her; even still, she had turned straight people bi or absolutely gay. They just needed someone to be kind of the gateway, make them feel comfortable about their sexuality. Devyn for sure knew Zoe was not straight; she was at least bi, possible full on lesbian and just needed that gateway. Zoe could have already had that gateway in fact, could have been that Ava girl. Don’t forget to ask her about that at some point. Devyn made sure to make a mental note of that, but for sure was not going to bring it up on this little outing.

She is just too cute. Devyn thought as she kept her arm around Zoe, feeling the other girl leans back into her. Zoe had come so far with allowing Devyn to touch her and did seem like she liked it a lot. She took another sip from her coffee, seeing Zoe flush even more and smirk. She really did wish she knew what was going on in Zoe's head. Where they naughty thoughts? Was it about Devyn and her? Was she really thinking about everything that Devyn had said and looking forward to it? She was going to say something but then Zoe blurted out a question. She didn’t even get to answer since she was distracted by the groan and foot stamping. Think I broke her. Devyn smirked either way, going to take another sip of her coffee before going to removed her arm from around Zoe. "Well I did tell you what my power was before, but I still have yet to show you. Just tell me when you want to see it and we are alone and I'll show you." Devyn said, addressing that first, going to step back and give Zoe some space.

"I'm sorry; I pull back my flirts so you have more time to be...less confused?" Devyn said but it came out more like a question because she was not sure what she was supposed to say to that. Starting to chuckle a little when Zoe called her sexy. "Someone so sexy what? Flirting with you so directly? Showing no fear? Being a tad bit aggressive and possessive?" Devyn asked, listing off different things in a question like manner as she looked at Zoe for a moment and then around the store as she went for another sip of her coffee. "Am I making you sexually frustrated or just frustrated in general?" Devyn asked after a moment, glancing over to Zoe.

She did? Zoe's brain was so discombobulated that she had trouble remembering... something about shadows and a cat? That felt about right. Devyn did promise to show it when they were alone, so that was something to look forward to that probably didn't involve touching, flirting, and potentially getting naked. Gah, now Zoe's brain was just stuck there. She knew that Devyn had put her there, and she was actually a little grateful when the other girl released her. While she loved being touched, this was starting to overwhelm her.

Then questions, then a sip of the coffee, all while Zoe's head spun and she worked to get her feet back on the ground; metaphorically, that is, not actually physically, since she couldn't actually fly. Then Devyn had to ask a question and be all serious about it for a change; at least, it sounded serious to Zoe. She took a deep breath, lowering her eyes for a moment. "Both, I guess," she mumbled, biting her lip for a moment. She groaned and stomped her foot. "I'm just---I---I'm not used to---to wanting someone, I guess," she blushed and rubbed at her arm, "and I really do want to get to know you better because I like you, like, as a person, but you keep talking and half the time all I can do is sit here and think about what you look like naked and what I'll do if you actually touch me somewhere nice and--"

"Coffee for Zoe!" rang out through the shop, the barrista having finally finished.

"oh thank God," said Zoe, turning and raising a hand, forcing a smile. "That's mine," she mumbled, fumbling to grab for her complicated drink, cradling the hot mug in her gloved hands, already enjoying the heat that moved from mug to hand.

Wow, didn’t think she admit it. Devyn should have been use to Zoe always surprising her by now. Then again it was a surprise so that was the nature of it, making her not expecting it. Then was the lip bite, followed by a groan, and a stop of her foot. Good thing Zoe didn’t have like super strength or anything like that or she might have stomped a hole into the floor by now. So what Devyn was gathering from Zoe's words was that she never really felt lust for someone before. The lust for someone’s body. Yeah there was lust for the person themselves because of who they were, but lust in terms of sex was close behind that. They were animals still, even if they were humans. That had certain drives, needs. Some were better at suppressing them, not acting on them, waiting until they felt ready or thought it was a good time. Devyn was not really that type. If she wanted it she just had to wait for the other person to make the first move and she go for it.

Zoe however, clearly was having a difficult time with having lust for Devyn outside of just wanting to get to know Devyn for the person. Which was understandable. Zoe could not touch people, not skin to skin without hurting the other person. Plus Devyn had to not be making it easy for Zoe. With all her flirts and putting Zoe's mind into the gutter where Devyn's went from time to time. Except she was able to pull herself out if she really needed to. Devyn didn’t say anything, just wanting for Zoe to say all she had to say or managed to have the courage to say. Devyn was more so amazed that Zoe was saying this out loud while they were in public. Not that anyone was really paying attention or anything, but if someone was well...they would be hearing some interesting stuff. The barrista called out Zoe's named and Zoe seemed to be quickly relieved at having her coffee arrive. Devyn was kind of speechless in the sense that she was not sure what to say for a moment.

"Well...we could go to the bathroom, hid back to the academy, or somewhere where it’s just us if you really wanted to." Devyn eventually said after looking at her coffee for a moment. Then chuckled a little. "I'm sorry Zoe..." Devyn was going to say more but didn’t, instead opting to drink her coffee. She was kind of out of it because her mind fully went into the gutter and she was kind of daydreaming about it as she sipped on her coffee. Going to move to grab a seat in a corner where no one else was really around, more so in the shadows. Not the only one frustrated Zoe. Devyn thought because yes she wanted to do so much to Zoe, but Zoe had to make the first move. That’s how it had to be. Devyn had to at least play it safe in that aspect.
