The boy lazily opened his eyes. A frown settled on his face when he saw his replica sitting across from him with a smirk. "What's up with you?" His question was not met with an answer, as expected. So Xander Scott just ignored him and got on with his usual morning routine. The day was exceptionally bright considering how early it was. After he changed, Campbell still had that smug look on his face. The boy could only wonder what he was up to this morning.
Then the door to his room opened and walked in his mother. She looked confuse as to why he was not in his class already since it was an hour passed nine. Xander's eyes widened and Campbell laughed. "Bloody hell." Before he could give his replica a piece of his mind, he ran out his house with Campbell trailing after him, got into his car and drove to school.
Once parked, he made a dash for the classrooms. All the way he cursed himself for not living in the academy's dorms and he cursed Campbell as well. The moment he saw his French class, he pushed through the door. "I'm here! Sorry I'm late."
To his surprise, the classroom was empty and the only person there was him. And the teacher.
