Xander Campbell Scott
FACE CLAIM: Shawn Mendes
---------------------------------
AGE: 17-going-on-18 (June 8, 2001)
GENDER: Male
ORIENTATION: Heterosexual
POSITION: Formula 1 Test Driver (Bellefonte Academy College Student)
POWER: Self Replication
Xander possesses the ability to create multiple varied replicates of himself. Physically, these copies appear the same since they are exact replicas of him, but their personalities tend to differ and is random at most times. Each copy that splits off is a part of the boy and they are aware that they are merely replicas of him. They separate from him like binary fission and during these times he usually experiences tightening of the chest and breathing difficulties before regulating back to normal when the copy has 'come out.'
While he can replicate the physical aspects exactly, other aspects such as personality are too complicated and various to replicate exactly so a copy usually ends up to have only one trait of his many trait. However, none of the copies have any memories of their past if they have been replicated before and whatever memory they obtain, without the presence of the original, is not received by Xander. The copies can move and has a mind of its own but with strong focus the boy has some control over them, like subjects are loyal to their king.
LIMITATIONS:
The boy is only able to replicate himself and nothing or no one else. At the moment, he can only replicate up to a total of 5 copies at once. When he does decide to replicate personalities, Xander cannot control and/or predict which traits his copy posses. The copies can travel about half a mile away from the source before the side effects kick in. With that said, whatever Xander feels, his copies feel it too. This applies to injuries as well. The effects are temporary, so the copies can stay up for as long as three hours before having to merge again into one (with the exception of Campbell).
SIDE-EFFECTS:
The most common side effects are headaches and exhaustion. The more he replicates, the more painful the headaches and the more tired he gets. Whenever the distance between Xander and his copy exceeds his limit, both will experience a choke-like feeling. So when he merges with his copy, the boy tends to experience disorientation and short time breathing difficulties. Due to the ability to make copies of himself, Xander at times feel a little loss and is not sure who he "really" is.
There is one replica in particular that manifested and in short, it is his polar opposite -- which he names by his middle name. Because of the opposite personalities, Xander have little control over Campbell. The boy cannot control when Campbell chooses to come out or when to go back. So he has a replicate with him during every hour. They are like twins. Similar in looks, but different in behavior.Below are parts of newspaper and magazine articles.UP AND COMING RISING STAR XANDER SCOTT
Following his recent two triumphs in the British Open Kart Championship, at the age of 15, Xander Scott made a name for himself when he drove first under the checkered flag and claimed the winning title of the British Formula Ford Championship in only his debut season. While it is not something heard often, the boy proved that it was not impossible.
Hard work and support mainly from his father is what shaped this young racing prodigy. "It first begin with just finding something for him to do in his past time," said the father, Andrew Scott. "Out of all the sports he was introduced to, Xander took an exceptional liking towards go kart. So I invested in it and hey, he turned out to be really good at it!"
Xander started out in karting since the age of five, the same year his parents divorced. Instead of remarrying or look for a suitable candidate to play the role of a mother for his son, the lawyer had another idea. "He was just a young boy and I did what I thought was right, distract him with sports," the single parent recalls, wanting the best for his only child.
Since then, the boy's passion for racing never wavered. With his first win in car racing, the father tells us that this would not be the last time we hear of Xander Scott. It was still the beginning and their goal was for the boy to make it into, every racer's dream, Formula 1.GOING PAST THE LIMITS
We have all heard about what fame can do to a teenager. Just look at Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber. After last night's incident, we can now officially add Xander Scott to the list.
At the middle of the night, the boy took his car out for a drive, going over the speed limit. That seems pretty normal for a sixteen year old but not long later, the boy skidded of the road and crashed into a tree. Does that seem possible for a race car driver? Speculation on whether or not he was under the influence of alcohol is increasing but nothing has been confirmed.
No comments has been made by Scott's team but the question on everyone's mind: is the attention getting into his head? This is the first time we hear of such a reckless act from the young racer but could this be the first out of the many to come?XANDER SCOTT: MUTANT ALERT!
The revelation of the existence of mutants is still shocking and many are still trying to come to terms with it. So how are fans coping with the news that Xander Scott is in fact a mutant?
Shortly after the news of mutants broke out, the boy took to Instagram and posted a picture of himself with another that looked exactly like himself, both in a fighting stance. The caption read, "Hey guys. Meet Campbell. #yolo" However, the photo was then removed.
With him attending the prestigious academy for mutants, St. Bethany, it did not take long for the fans to conclude that their British eye candy was different and had a power. Later that same night, Scott's team released an official statement confirming that he was in fact a mutant and he only had the power to replicate himself.
It was also stated that Xander was not the one who crashed his own car a few months ago but instead his replicate that goes by the name Campbell. It was Campbell as well that posted the picture on the social media.SCOTT SHARES
Xander Scott is one of the hottest topics right now. A lot has happened in the past two years for the young racer and it looks like 2018 would be no different. Last year, the world knew him as a mutant but this year the seventeen year old plans on changing that. He told the public that he got his taste of Formula 1 when he tested out for the teams.
Now, signed as one of the team's test driver, Xander is very proud with how far he has gotten at such a young age. During the exclusive interview, he thanked his dad for pushing him to try the variety of sports because it it weren't for that, his racing career would have never gotten on track.
On the other hand, the boy did not easily offered up details about his power, but he caved at one point during the interview. "Well I manifested when I was fifteen. Funny story actually, I was training at night and out of nowhere suddenly there was someone behind me! I was bloody freaked because it looked exactly like me and I'm still not sure how the two of us fitted on the go kart," he shared.
Xander was then sent to St. Bethany where he learnt more about his power and finished off his last two years of high school. He talked about some of the things he liked to do, besides racing, and one of which was his secret hobby to write lyrics. "Oh but I'm horrible at it." That we agree and he should just stick to racing. Log into our website to watch the video of Xander Scott attempting to create a song.
He then mentioned it of course was not easy to keep his power such a secret, subtly referencing to the incident his replicate committed last year. We have heard about the infamous Campbell; who looks like Xander but is completely different from him. This is what he has to say about Campbell, "Oh he's an annoying one, mate."JUST ONE AFTER ANOTHER
The year has been so successful for Xander Scott. He completed his first year of Formula 1 as the team's test driver. The season was great, for him and the team but life isn't a bed of roses.
During a testing session in November, a few weeks after the season was over, the boy got into an unfortunate accident. The tire of his car punctured which sent him spinning and flying across the race track and into the barricaded wall. He sustained some injuries such as sore ribs, a swollen knee and a broken wrist.
His father, Andrew Scott, arrived at the hospital to visit him but was later shot just at the entrance by one of the men in an on-going case that he was trying to put behind bars. Andrew died on the spot and the shooter was caught immediately. It was told that the accident was planned. The man intended for Xander to be sent to the hospital because he would be there waiting to take his shot when the father turned up.
Now without a legal guardian, custody over the child has been given to his mother whom he refused to make contact with for the past seven years since she moved to the United States. A source says that the boy is reluctant to go but nevertheless he must.
Even though Xander would be leaving Britain, fans need not worry as he would still continue his racing career as a Formula 1 test driver. Once he recovers, the team informs that his schedule would go back to normal. Due to his circumstances, Xander has special permission to leave school for races.Below is a Tumblr post by campbellnotthesoup but was immediately taken down after.THINGS XANDER SCOTT WILL NEVER TELL BUT THAT'S WHY YOU HAVE HIS POLAR OPPOSITE CAMPBELL FOR
The two most important things in his life: dad and racing. Being the only men in the house, none of them really had those heart-to-heart talks. So Xander rarely acknowledges how he truly feels and he suppresses those feelings. In denial bastard.
1. Growing up with only his dad, the guy has a really close relationship with his dad. So the dad'sdeathmurder is taking a hard toll on him. More than he likes to let on.
2. He hates that he is not racing every fortnight on the racing circuit in Grand Prix and instead is only a test driver.
3. Because of me, he thinks his power is a curse lol
4. He has issues dealing with abandonment. A reason why he detests his mother for moving an ocean away when he was only 10.
5. He feels "lost" and doesn't know who he really is because of his copies but I think that's just him trying to be a poetic lil shit for his super bad lyrics.
6. Xander refuses to admit his lyrics are B A D.
