Oh, this was her favorite part of her campaign walking the streets and speaking to the people, of course not on her own. Oh no no. After what Mr. Wens said in their radio debate and the recent violence, not only did Elizabeth insist on keeper a fully charged, powerful taser -But that was more if she saw a minority, or someone in a hoody. You can never be too sure these days can you- but she also hired a bodyguard to accompany her places , a large hulking gentleman in a business suit that could certainly protect Elizabeth from any random assortment of mutant that wanted to try their luck.
So Elizabeth kept behind the large man while she hummed to herself all the while putting her own posters on the wall

When Anna came over to Kalispell to be close to her sister, Alex, she didn't expect to find the backlash of the incident to be made into such a public statement. After dealing with Argos Wren, she thought she wouldn't have to deal with anymore of it but apparently the nut job who was the leader of a hate group decided to make the incident an example. Not to mention, the radio interview she gave that had her whole office buzzing made it seem like she actually condoned the act.
The usually reserved lawyer had to find a clearing far away from Kalispell proper to release the pent up frustration she had on a piece of dry land. She hoped she never had to see this Elizabeth Fisher in person.
But of course, fate loved to dole out bullshit like chance meetings and who should Anna meet as she was walking down main street but the woman on the poster herself. The ground directly underneath her shook. For some reason, it didn't register in the brunette that the woman had security detail and she would most likely either hurt herself or, God forbid, hurt them. "You have some nerve running for Mayor in a town that is saturated with mutants." She said, loud enough for the other woman to hear.

Well, Elizabeth was having a perfectly wonderful day, she so liked to be productive, she could barely keep still if she didn’t have everything checked off of her to-do list she gets anxiety and wake up in a cold sweat if she didn’t collect her badges.
That actually happened….twice….
but now she was having a pleasant evening so much so, she even felt happy to address the woman that was yelling at her, it was probably good to speak to the average lay person
“Hello, there,” She said cheerful as she pasted on her most political smile as she approached the woman “How wonderful to meet such opinionated citizens of our wonderful town.”

Anna had to steady her breathing as Elizabeth approached her. "You can't call it our town if you don't understand the importance of harmony between mutants and humans." Anna seethed, trying not to let her emotions play into her abilities.
"All mutants are trying to do is live in a place where we're accepted and all you're doing is building a wall between us." Her voice was low and shaky but at least the ground was no longer shaking.
