After Riley's taste, Zoe began looking around for a spoon, eager to get more yet unsure of how to get it without her own tool. Daww... Came the thought. Riley had to chuckle a little and smile as Zoe tried finding her own silverware. While she did, Riley got another spoonful and held it out for Zoe to eat again. "Here. It's ok. We can... We can share." She said with a faint blush and a soft smile. She honestly wouldn't mind it at all, as long as Zoe was ok with it too.
And, if Riley was being totally honest, she was really enjoying this. It was so simple and yet so intimate. And yes, part of her just wanted to hear Zoe again. But Riley shoved those thoughts down hard and instead just focused on her girlfriend and feeding her.

There was the spoon again, extended toward Zoe. She swallowed nervously, looking at it as if she expected it to attack her. This was alright, right? Intimate but, not, like, unwarranted. They were girlfriends, Zoe did have feelings for Riley (deep feelings). So there shouldn't be a problem in just doing something like that.
"Well, if you say so," Zoe said, adding a shrug, trying desperately to make it seem like she thought the whole thing to be light and fun. She leaned over, took the food in her mouth again, and took the bite, again leaning back and using her fingers to keep the food steady in her mouth. "It's just so good," she said, speaking some around the mouthful of food. Naturally that made her flush again, lowering her head slightly. "I'm going to end up with a sugar rush."
This didn't stop her from eyeing the parfait, clearly wanting more.

Zoe looked like the spoon was about to bite her, which made Riley relax a little and smile. She could understand why Zoe was a bit nervous considering how intimate this was. But Riley didn't care about how it looked. She just wanted to do this for her girlfriend now (and some other afore mentioned things but Riley did not dwell on them). "it's ok Zoe." She assured the girl with a warm smile.
A smile that grew as Zoe accepted the food once more, eating it off the spoon. As she chewed her own bit, Riley took a scoop for herself, eating it happily as she nodded along with Zoe. then, like a natural rhythm, Riley scooped up a bit and held it out to Zoe, taking turns while Riley smiled. "That's perfectly ok considering how good this is. Totally worth it." Riley said. And judging from the way Zoe had eyed the parfait, she agreed.

"You're going to make me keep pushing until I find something that's not okay," Zoe pointed out, giving her girlfriend another nervous smile. Despite this, she still waited while Riley took her bite. in fact, Zoe ended up alternating throughout the parfait, taking turns without skipping or going out of line, even if she did feel a bit silly after they'd passed the halfway point of the dessert. They hadn't quite finished, however, when Zoe had to pull back.
"I couldn't eat any more if you forced me," she insisted, shaking her head. She reached up to move back some hair, smiling. "I already feel quite bloated. If you put anything else in me I wouldn't be able to get out of this dress," which would be quite problematic, considering what Zoe had planned. Naturally just thinking of this was enough to get Zoe flushing again. She reached over and nudged the dessert closer to her girlfriend.
"You should finish it though. I mean, if you want. You don't have to," she said, shifting slightly. And again Zoe found herself reaching for the drink, taking a sip. There wasn't much more of the meal left, really. She almost wished they could ask for some alcohol or something afterwards, give Zoe some more courage for what she wanted to come next.

Riley had to chuckle at Zoe's response. Although Zoe still seemed a bit nervous, she did eat a good deal of the desert to Riley's gladness. While she wasn't trying to fatten Zoe up by sneakily getting her great food, she was happy to see her girlfriend was eating more with her-- at least on the date as far as Riley knew. But was they were starting to near the bottom, Zoe pulled back and said she couldn't eat any more even if Riley forced her. Riley had to laugh a little at the idea that Zoe would ever be too big to get out of anything, even the tighter dress she wore now. "I doubt that." Riley said with a teasing and playful smirk as Zoe nudged it closer to her.
Zoe said Riley should finish it if she wanted, and Riley had to smile softly before planting a quick kiss right on Zoe's nose. "Thanks Zoe." She said before finishing off the rest of the parfait. Which fortunately wasn't too much-- Riley herself was feeling full. The lurking waitress seemed to pop out again the moment Riley and Zoe had finished, bringing the check with her and asking how the desert was and if they enjoyed their time at the restaurant. It was an easy enough answer, and the waitress left and returned at something like a record time. Riley definitely made sure to leave a good tip after paying for both her and Zoe.
Helping Zoe out of the booth, the two were soon headed back for the car, Riley's hand entwined with Zoe's happily. "So, what did you think of the date?" She asked as they reached the car and Riley opened the door for Zoe to get in again.

The tease of course made Zoe smile yet again, but she didn't say or do anything to really react to it more than that. Her mind had already jumped forward again, trying to figure out how to word what she wanted to happen. She'd been constantly distracted by that all night, well, when Riley didn't demand her full attention, that is. And now they were almost at the point and--and Riley was kissing her on the nose, pulling Zoe out of her thoughts for at least a few moments.
The waitress did appear, stating that they were a cute couple as she took the check with almost too much promptness. Zoe was already leaning over to suggest a higher tip, since she'd done so well and was so nice and supportive and of course Riley was already doing essentially that. Zoe flushed and settled back down, smoothing her dress.
Not that she should've bothered: Riley was up, up and extending a hand. And Zoe was up. She was out. she was in the car. She was holding hands with Riley. And she was fairly sure there was a question.
"We should head back to my room!" came out almost too loud, as if someone was prodding Zoe with a line that she'd forgotten. She forced a smile. "I mean, since we've been out and I'm... I was just thinking that we could... head back there. To... relax?" That sounded believable, right?
Post by Riley Forrester on Sept 21, 2015 20:21:57 GMT -6
Riley was a bit surprised at the sudden suggestion and that Zoe didn't answer her question. But maybe she was just tired, hence wanting to go back to her room with Riley to just relax. Must be from all the food. Since she's not used to eating quite so much. Her brain reckoned. Although Zoe's smiled did seem a little forced. Was she more tired than Riley realized? Maybe going to Zoe's room was a good idea then.
So Riley smiled as she got into the driver's seat and started up the car, heading out to drive back to Bellefonte. "This isn't some elaborate ruse to get me to watch Frozen with you again, is it?" She teased playfully, glancing over at Zoe for a moment before looking forward again. "Because if you wanted to watch it, all you had to do was ask." Honestly, Riley would've been just fine with that. And maybe Riley could sing and lull her to sleep if she was actually too tired.

"Do I need a ruse?" Zoe asked. She was tempted to give Riley the pouty eyes again. "I thought you said that we'd watch it whenever..." she did think she caught a bit of teasing in Riley's tone, that suggestion that it would be fine. And sure enough, Riley followed that suggestion up with a direct statement. Zoe was almost tempted to take it too: that had been really wonderful.
Except, well, she wanted something different. "Well, um, I was, ah, actually thinking less watching the movie and more, uh, the, um, other stuff we did that time?" Zoe leaned forward for a moment, pausing hesitantly just shy of Riley, before moving in to give her girlfriend what she hoped was a fairly suggestive kiss on the lips. She pulled away slightly, offering another nervous smile.
Zoe was fairly certain that there were far, far better ways to seduce your girlfriend than this, but she was having trouble thinking of them right now and, well, she couldn't help but remember her own statements about not wanting to force things...

Riley could see the pouty eyes just on the brink of popping out, and she was glad she had answered before the weapon was used on her. Seriously, those things are gonna be the death of me. And Zoe knows it. Riley recognized. She was definitely screwed. But Zoe was talking again, suggesting that they do the other thing they had done that day. It only took a second for Riley to realize what Zoe meant. "Oh.... Girlfriend stuff?" She asked with a faint smile, glancing over.
Which ended up in Riley receiving a sudden kiss.
Her eyes widened as she felt something a little more... dark about the kiss. Not dark as in bad. No, not bad at all. But it wasn't like the other kisses. It was wanting, but with a bit more 'bite' to it. Whatever it was, it made Riley flush a bit in surprise and heat. Before she could even think to react, she caught the color of the light changing. Thank god it had been red when Zoe snuck her little kiss in. It could've shut RIley's brain down while they were driving.
"A-Alright. I'm fine with that. But are you tired? Just asking, since it's getting pretty late." Riley inquired, concern coloring her voice even as she was still flushed from that kiss. Eventually they pulled into the Academy and Riley opened the car door for Zoe, once again offering her an arm.

Yes, girlfriend stuff. And the kiss. And Zoe hadn't even really thought about traffic. She really hadn't been thinking much period; she'd just been acting, going with a gut instinct and trying to figure out how best to express her feelings and desires for this wonderful woman in some sort of coherent manner.
In fact, Zoe almost bit Riley's lip as she pulled back, her own eagerness getting in the way. She fought down a smile as Riley had suddenly become the one stuttering and flushing. It felt so odd to not be the one like that, to be the one who felt more... confident? Comfortable?
"Well, I'm not that tired," Zoe said, knowing that she almost sounded childish. "Plus, I really like the, ah, girlfriend stuff."
They drove. Zoe tried to figure out what to say. Riley stopped. Riley got out. Zoe found her door opening. She took the arm and pulled Riley in for another kiss. "Tonight's been wonderful, but it's not over yet," Zoe said, feeling more and more of her courage gathering. Just think of how Devyn would do this, or Vera, just think of that and move forward. Walk toward the room, be confident, be ready, be sexy.

Zoe had seemed awful pleased at making Riley blush. Then again, Riley figured it was probably a funny sight. But Riley was more focused on Zoe's answer to her question. She wasn't tired, no, and apparently she really liked the ‘girlfriend stuff.’ That only served to make Riley chuckle a little. “I do too.” She admitted with a lopsided smile before focusing on driving.
They arrived and got out, and as Zoe took Riley’s arm she pulled the punky girl in for another kiss. Although once again not seen coming— Holy shit, Zoe’s confident tonight.— this time Riley could return it and return it easily. God, she could do this forever. But the two separated and Zoe insisted the wonderful night wasn’t over yet. Riley blinked at that. “…. What did you have in mind then?” Riley had to ask as they started off for her girlfriend’s room.
Was it more Frozen? Or…. No, Stop Riles! Mind out of Gutter. Now.

Good, Riley liked it. of course she did: She liked Zoe, liked her. Hopefully she more than liked her. Gosh how Zoe hoped that Riley more than liked her. Just thinking about that and her feelings for the other girl and everything made Zoe's stomach get more than a little twisted up, roiling all over one another and just crawling.
But no, she had to be confident. Sexy. She gave Riley's arm a squeeze after that kiss, knowing that they'd started walking toward her dorm. "Well, like I said, girlfriend stuff," Zoe said, not sure what else to really say, still not wanting to scare Riley away or anything along those lines. No, this had to be timed right. "You know, I love spending time with you and all."
there, that was technically true, right? Zoe took a deep breath, pulling a little closer to Riley. The walk to her room suddenly felt excruciatingly long. Were they going slow? It certainly felt like they were going quite slow...

There was a squeeze to Riley's arm after that kiss, and it sent something of a little thrill up Riley’s arm she couldn’t explain. There was something about tonight that Riley could just feel. What exactly it was, Riley had no clue. But there was…. something. Zoe insisted that all they were doing was girlfriend stuff. Which Riley was completely fine with to be honest. She really did enjoy the ‘girlfriend stuff’ they did.
At the next comment, Riley glanced over at Zoe and smiled, planting a light kiss on her lips. “The feeling’s mutual.” She assured the girl, her smile warm as they headed to Zoe’s dorms. It felt longer than usual, but Riley guessed that was only her imagination. Which was probably being effected by how close Zoe was getting. However, they eventually made it to Zoe’s dorm room and headed inside.
“You sure you aren’t tired? Last time I’m asking, just to make sure. I promise.” Riley vowed, looking at Zoe again

Mutual, yes, definitely mutual. Zoe took another breath, tried to remind herself that the feeling would be mutual, that Riley meant that even if she didn't quite understand what she was agreeing to just yet. Was the feeling truly mutual? no, stop overthinking this. Zoe had made her decision; she was going to go through with this. She knew what she wanted.
They reached her dorm.
Zoe shook her head at the repeated question, taking a step into the room. Her hands went to the bag, where she'd kept the syringe. Her fingers tightened around it. Just... do it quickly. Stab it in. Let it go. Zoe took a breath, looking over her shoulder at her girlfriend again. The feeling was mutual. "Do you trust me?"

There was a sort of determination in Zoe's eyes about something as she shook her head in answer to Riley's question. Zoe's hands went into her bag, searching for something, before she halted and took a deep breath. Riley watched it all, with a good deal of both confusion and curiosity, not to mention concern for the other girl. But she had insisted she was fine. But now Zoe was looking over her shoulder, and asking Riley a question.
'Do you trust me?'
Riley blinked at the strangeness of the question. There was weight in those words, and Riley had a feeling the answer would be important.
