"Yes." Roxana responded simply to Elsa's question that was more so just clarifying that they were talking about the same person. While Rox currently was pretty sure that she was not pleased with the younger girl, she would not discount her ability to be able to put out a fire. Demi's ability was practicality useful for that sort of thing since it was used in real life in a way. Elsa then pointed out how Demi was not around, which meant that they were going to have to take care of it. Rox did wonder where Demi might have been at the moment but they had more pressing matters to unfortunately have to take care of since they were the two that were around at the moment.

"I'm assuming when you say 'part of the joy' you are being sarcastic, correct?" Roxana asked as she still would move to follow after the other girl. She did enjoy protecting the school but she was not really sure how she felt about breaking up fights, solving school problems, and the like; even if that was what she pretty much did every day while working here. Nothing new, just now it was dealing with it on a large scale and a lot of people moving around and existing. It was best to get there soon because as Elsa said, they would be able to solve the problem before it got too crazy. Hopefully.

Rox's mind was already trying to come up with a way to put out the fire without having to use her power. She had already pushed it back there with creating a rod that would allow her to redirect electricity and withstand a speedy guy running into it without it breaking. She could cause her crystals to cover the luggage, blocking out its ability to obtain air and smother the fire. Just showing it down into the dirt or removing her jacket and laying it over the problem also were good ideas. It all depended on what they were dealing with when they got there. "We need to install fire hydrants around random places on campus." Roxana spoke up, half joking.

Elsa just let out a slight laugh as Roxana asked about the whole sarcasm thing. And the blonde wondered why some people thought her a robot or an alien or something along those lines. Then again, for all Elsa knew, the girl was being somewhat sarcastic herself. Not like she really had time to parse through the thoughts, seeing as they were literally running toward the smallish fire.

"Everyone just walk away: we'll handle this in no time!" Elsa called out as they drew close, already waving her arms to try and start with crowd control. "Accidents happen all the time! We're trained to handle this!" Elsa assured them, putting on her best politician's smile as she moved forward. She heard Roxana's comment and had to chuckle, responding in a much lower voice:

"Why do you think we have so many fountains?" jerking her head toward the nearest one, which wasn't too horribly far from the current situation. And yes, there was a situation: a fire, one that apparently involved yet another piece of luggage, this one somewhat medium sized. A few people had already gathered to move it away, and Elsa was already striding forward, waving her hands and getting them to back up so that Roxana could do her work.

There was a slight laugh from Elsa then, one that didn't come with any words but Rox could make a guess as to why Elsa was laughing. It was true that she did now understand why people viewed her as a robot or something along those lines. She had just be raised differently and missed certain common social cues that were not native to where she grew up or not really acceptable to do no matter what your age was. Sarcasm was basically 'getting smart' and behaving and talking in such a way was more likely to get you hit then it was to get any laughter or for someone to understand that you were joking.

They had a fire to get to, so it didn't matter that Elsa didn’t say anything and Rox could see what they had to deal with. Luggage was literally on fire, just one person, a medium sized one that could easily be picked up and throw if need be. Rox's mind was already working on what would be the best solution to the problem that would minimize damage to the property, look like they were professionals at this, and would solve the problem quickly. Elsa spoke about the fountain, Rox's eyes quickly going to it and a small debate on if she should toss the luggage into the fountain or not. That would lead to just water damage instead of fire damage.

Tossing it too the ground and throwing dirt on it would make it flirty, but would be effective; however, it would take a moment to actually get some dirt up to use. Rox decided to just use her power again. It would allow her to put out the fire quickly, stopping any form of damage and then her crystals would just flake off after a moment or two since she was going to create them to not last as long. It didn't take long for crystals to cover her hands enough before she placed her hands on the luggage, crystals quickly covering it, and the fire, until it was quickly snuffed out without the ability to obtain oxygen. She then looked to Elsa, letting the girl know silently that the problem was solved.

Rox felt a little sick now, for pushing herself twice now with her power, but she could still use it. She was already reaching to pull up the hood on the jacket she had been wearing. She brought it on purpose, in case she ended up using her power a lot. She didn't want anyone, especially Elsa to see how her hair was changing colors. Elsa had seen it all black before but she was certain that Elsa didn't know what that had meant still.

Elsa kept people back, and, well, most of them were just sort of watching anyway. the fire was a nuisance fire: something that required assistance like the two of them intervening, but wasn't anything to cause panic. Despite that, Elsa still felt a bit of panic raising up within her chest, something that she had to beat down almost viciously, putting on that smile.

"This is Roxana," she said, gesturing toward her friend, "and she happens to be a member of our Security Squad and highly trained to deal with situations like these. as you can see, she's learned to use her power in unique ways to help people. I'd love to say that's something we can wholly take credit for, but Roxana learned a good deal of her powers from our sister schools. However, we do offer training in the hopes that everyone can use their abilities much like this," and Elsa gestured almost in perfect time with Roxana finishing, taking a quick glance to confirm it.

Elsa could also see the hood flipping up, and she thought she saw something else off. So she did the last few bits of getting everything situated while slightly jerking her head, indicating that Roxana should probably head off for a bit, take a breather while Elsa finished up here. Elsa could join her shortly, surely.

Roxana let Elsa handle what she was good at, while she handle what she was good at. Well, sort of good at since Roxana had not really been trained to put out fires with her power. She suppose she could say the time the school had caught on fire had been practice enough but she only stuck around enough to help Demi put out the fire in the library. After that she left to handle her main job because while she had wanted to do as Elsa ordered, she still didn’t want to get into any trouble. Too many times had she gotten in trouble with her organization and now she had been working to manage both pleasing Elsa and the people she worked for since she was little.

She paid no mind to Elsa’s words as the other girl was likely explain what was going on and talking the school up. Rox just focused on what she was doing but did catch the mentioning of her old school, which did make her think about life back there. She did miss it and it certainly was a lot more structured and informed the rules then this school did. Kids didn’t simply manage to sneak on anything illegal on campus and rule breakers would quickly learn their lesson or were stuck with lot of dentitions and ‘talks’. BA did seem to be working on that bit, but it still had a bit more work to do if it wanted to achieve the standard Rox’s former school had.

Rox gave a slight nod when she spotted the head jerk Elsa gave her. She was thankful for the break and would not hesitate to take it. The last thing she wanted was to look weak or ill in front of anyone, even if she was not feeling to well. She knew that it had to do less with using her power so much and just that it was that time again where she would get really, really sick. Perhaps it was time to return home before it fully hit her, but she still had a job to do at the school. Rox wondered off then, grabbing herself a water off a table that was sitting out just for that and moving to grab a seat under tree for a moment as she felt herself overheating a little bit.

So could you basically tract me down within a certain distance? Roxana asked, directing the thought to Elsa. She figured since the other girl could read her thoughts she wonder if that would allow her to help find where Rox was, even if she had not gone far.

They'd pulled off slightly to the side, grabbing some water. Elsa remained standing, almost looking as though she were the bodyguard and Roxana the wealthy client for a change. Her eyes swept the area in front of her, already on alert for the inevitable problems she'd have to deal with next. She could only hope that they either wouldn't require Roxana or wouldn't require Roxana to use her power.

Apparently something else was on Roxana's mind, and on it enough to send a quite vivid mental message toward Elsa. The Bellefonte actually had a slightly delayed reaction into getting to it, as she'd been busy focusing elsewhere, but she still caught it. "Is that really so surprising?" she asked, turning to look over her shoulder. "That's how I developed this addition to my power, remember? I may have started with my sister, but that's how the power is going to grow. There's... a few people I can pick up like that," Elsa smiled slightly, smiled a little sadly at that. Because several of those people had drifted away or something along those lines.

Elsa took another deep breath, letting it out slowly, needing a few moments of calm, figuring they were likely in the eye of the storm...

It was weird for Elsa to be the one standing around while Roxana was taking a quick break, it didn't feel right, and Rox didn't like it. Not that she was going to say anything about it, because if Elsa wanted to stand then she was not going to force the other girl to sit down. Clearly Elsa was not tried from the talking she had done and wanted to stand, so Rox was going to leave her to it. Interesting enough, Rox's family could afford a private group to look after them, but why would you when your whole family was that private group? It made the most sense to hire family when you needed protection on sensitive manners so the Stirx never outsourced with who they had help protect them.

Elsa asked if it was all that surprising. No, Rox did not find it surprising and it was more so that she was just curious. She knew that a while ago Elsa had been able to use her power along with a few other means in order to find her sister. It would make sense for her to be able to do the same with those that she had gotten close to. Rox just simply wanted to know how far along Elsa's ability went with her; just how close were they? Obviously close enough for Elsa to pick up on Rox's thoughts without really trying and for Rox to have an easier time at 'sending' Elsa thoughts directly.

Rox caught that slight sad look on Elsa and it caused her a slight pang or something along those lines. Just a feeling of not really liking seeing Elsa upset, but she remained silent on the matter for now. "I'm always here if you ever want to talk about anything; just a simple reminder." Roxana said, followed by drinking some more of her water. She would indeed take advantage of this calm while it lasted, especially if she was indeed right on her guess that she was getting sick-sick.

Elsa could feel Roxana's concern. She didn't need empathy to feel it, nor did she need telepathy to pick up on the thoughts and guess what the other girl was more or less thinking right now. Some things you just knew from being close enough to a person to understand them and how they though. It also occurred to Elsa that there was something that she should probably share to Roxana's face, before she found out from other sources.

"Felix and I broke up," she offered. "or, well, it's difficult to say whether or not we were actually really together," she sounded distant, but she knew that was a defense mechanism, just like how she now had a nearly overwhelming desire to go find something to drink. "It happened at the tail end of our trip to Africa. We just... weren't working out. Not that we were ever really together. I'm not even sure where he is right now."

Just like so many. Elsa looked over the gathered people, letting herself think precisely that. They wouldn't have time to think soon: she could already see people looking their way, and she knew that their responsibilities would pull them right back into the fray once more.

Roxana was indeed concerned, and while she didn't fully like the feeling she didn't regret it or want it to go away. At least not go away until she was certain that Elsa was going to be alright or at least knew that Rox was still there if she wished to talk .Rox would not claim to know what to say that would be...caring but she would approach it like she approached most things now. Logical with at least a small awareness of when she should probably not say something if it was too blunt. They had at least a moment to talk, so why not take advantage of it? Plus their last time at trying to just talk about normal things had not worked out so well so perhaps this time it would.

Elsa then confirmed what Rox was already pretty certain of and assumed as much without the other girl having to tell her. she honestly was not really bothered or effected by this news other than being pleased that the two of them were not together. There was a small amount of hope that perhaps Elsa had wised up and was not going to be with someone who she was leftovers for in a way. At least that was how Rox saw it. "I see." Rox responded, and that was pretty much it. She didn't see any point in saying anything more on the matter. The only things she could think to say would not have been what Elsa wanted to hear and what she had old Elsa long before Elsa had started to 'go out' with Felix.

There was something that she thought she should say, but was not sure if she should actually say it or if Elsa wanted to hear it. Elsa was looking off, which had Rox looking in the same direction to see what was up and it seemed like they were going to be needed soon. Rox could not help but to feel displeased at how useless the majority of people seemed to be when it came to dealing with their own problems. However; it was what allowed her to have a job so she supposed she should not complain too much, even if this job was not the one she desired the most in her line of work.

"I'm happy that you are not with him, but not for the reason you might think." Rox spoke up. She simply meant that she was happy that Elsa was not with someone that had gone to her after things did not work out with her sister. Not with someone that she had picked up feelings for because of her sister. While she did notices how Felix seemed to make Elsa happy in some way, she still saw the boy as weak and felt Elsa could do better. That was all.

Elsa let the I see stand on its own. She could feel those thoughts churning, couldn't help but catch some of what Roxana was thinking. Yes, she understood what Roxana thought, she got that the other girl thought that she shouldn't have been with Felix. Elsa could recall the conversation she'd had with Franck not so long ago, where she pointed out that she knew full well that several of her friends thought her relationship with Felix a mistake. She couldn't really argue overmuch either: she'd clung to him. She'd needed him, and she did still care for him. If he were around...

...but he wasn't, and apparently Roxana was happy about it. Elsa had to let out a slight chuckle, shaking her head, ready to argue for a moment. However, before the words could form, she caught Roxana's thoughts. That made her smile warmly. "Well, thank you for thinking so highly of me," she said. "Considering that you're someone who's seen me at my worst, I can't help but take it as the highest of compliments."

Elsa took another step forward, shifting into a stretch, feeling the dancer's muscles pull. "Are you feeling up for more checking? I've been running since I got out of bed, and having someone along makes it a good deal easier on me. We can try avoiding situations where you have to use your power: we can call for help, after all," Elsa turned to Roxana, smiling and pulling out her phone, giving it a little demonstrative wiggle for her friend.

Roxana didn’t feel bad in the slightest that she didn’t really care for or support Elsa’s relationship with Felix. She knew that friends were supposed to support their friend in decisions that they wanted to do, but that didn’t mean with everything. You did not support you friend in their decision to take drugs that you knew would kill them. Why would she support a relationship with someone that she saw as weak and would not be good for Elsa? That didn’t make sense to her and that was the biggest reason why she did not like Elsa with Felix.

Thankfully, they were done and hopefully that would be the last of it forever, but only time would tell. Elsa let out a slight chuckle, voicing a thank you for thinking so highly of her. “No thanks necessary. It is because I have seen you at your worse that I’m not hesitant to think you to deserve better; to know that you deserve better and could have better.” Roxana said, her eyes glancing away for a moment. All that Elsa had to do was actually want someone that was worth her affection or more specifically someone who would allow her to reach her full potential and not be held back for various reasons.

It was good that Elsa was taking it as a complement, but Rox had not thought that way in order to cheer or make Elsa feel better about herself. It was just a fact. Roxana’s eyes watched Elsa as she moved, her mind wondering off to wishing to draw the girl for a moment before her thoughts were brought back to why she was even here. Elsa offered up that they could get others to help them, but Rox honestly worked best when she was alone. “I’m ready and unless you think we need assistance, I’m fine with the two of us handling it.” Roxana voice as she drained the rest of her water bottle.

She then stood up, crumpling the plastic bottle in her hand and holding onto it until they would come across a recycle bin. For now she was just waiting for Elsa to move, planning to follow the girl wherever she went.

No thanks necessary? Somehow, that didn't surprise Elsa all that much. Perhaps she was just getting used to Roxana and how she handled things. Or perhaps Roxana was becoming more and more human and understandable. It really didn't matter: the end result was the same either way. Roxana's confidence did make Elsa feel good though, regardless of whether that was the goal or not.

And she was ready. "Good," Elsa said, mostly because she could already see someone heading their way, "because it looks like we're on," she nodded toward the incoming student and took a few steps forward. Within just a few moments, Elsa was kindly informed of what was apparently some kind of traffic jam near the Southwest entrance to the dorms. Elsa rolled her eyes and looked back at Roxana.

"ready to be imposing and start herding students like they're a mass of unruly kittens?" Elsa asked. She offered another smile and a light laugh, already walking that way, counting on Roxana to more or less follow along.

Roxana would have disagreed with Elsa on both counts if she could read the girl's thoughts on why she said no thanks were necessary. It was something she had said before and often; perhaps this was a first for Elsa hearing it, but it was not a first overall. She didn't see the point in saying thank you for things that were just a fact, common knowledge, or in general if a thanks was not really necessary. If anything that was the 'robotic' part of her who just took certain words with a grain of salt depending on the situation.

In this case, she was just being honest and didn't see the need for a thanks when it was less of a complement and merely a fact. It was not that important and they were already moving right along with the conversation and getting ready to get back into t. Even if a part of Roxana didn't really want to do any of this 'work' she would do it because that was what was expected of her in this position. Even if a part of her was willing to argue she had better things to do then this, but she took the opportunity to spend time in Elsa's company as a slight motivation.

It was not much, but enough to at least not make her look like she hated everything that they were doing; even if she probably would keep her usual expression the whole time. Rox said nothing when Elsa said they were on, she just gave a nod, and was ready to follow the girl where she would lead. "I'm not certain that I understand that reference." Rox spoke up when Elsa made a comment about herding kitten. Why heard kitten? Why compare these people to kittens when children seemed like a more accurate comment in terms of having to herd people?

They had to start moving, heading straight back into the breach as it were. Elsa had to chuckle at Roxana's misunderstanding. "Haven't heard the expression?" she asked. She didn't wait for a response, as the answer was rather obvious. "It generally refers to the complete inability to actually do anything with them. They're impossible to wrangle and the efforts are mostly in vain. And sometimes people are actually herdable. These just--"

Elsa had to pause as she saw someone approaching who definitely appeared to be a child of some kind. Elsa glanced at Roxana for a moment before bending down, getting more on level with the small person. She'd never been great at dealing with youngsters, and she could only hope the smile she put on her face didn't scare the little girl. Given the expression she got in return, she wasn't sure.

It didn't take long to figure out why she'd approached; the girl was lost. Elsa and Roxana looked nice (somehow) and in charge (which made more sense). "I'm sure we can find your family," Elsa promised, nodding and turning back to Roxana. "Can't we, Roxana?"

"I have not heard a lot of expression and even if I have, I still don't understand many of them." Roxana responded honestly. She really didn't get certain expressions, especially ones that were 'out there' in her book or something else could have been used to make it a bit clearer. Like in this case she would have understood what Elsa was getting at if she had children instead of kittens. The use of kittens had just thrown her off a little bit, and while she kind of got the overall gist of it all it was still a weird expression. Elsa was at least explaining it, making it a bit more clear, and pointing out some aspects of it worked at perfectly.

Rox supposed she could see some of the points there, but she ended up getting distracted by Elsa suddenly stopped and quickly noticing that the child she saw walking around alone was now coming towards them. The little girl did have that look about her that seemed lost, but Rox had not gone out of her way to point her out or anything because she figured the younger girl would figure it out. Rox did when she was young and had been left alone in the streets as one of her many test. Yet again something that made her so vastly different then the majority of the people around her.

Not that it mattered now; she was...amused by how Elsa was behaving now in front of the younger girl. Elsa was even looking nice, lowering herself to be on a more even level with the younger girl to speak to her. Rox remained standing, looking at Elsa, looking at the younger girl, and then looking around to see if she could recall seeing the younger girl with anyone when she had been doing her scans through the time she had been out here. Elsa spoke of how they would be able to find her family, and then was asking her for her words on it. "Yes, just stick close and we will find your family in no time." Roxana assured her, and then pulled a bit of her 'acting' from when she had to deal with a kid for a job.

"My name is Roxana, but you can call me Rox or Roxy if you like and that pretty girl right there is Elsa. She is really sweet and I'm sure would love to hold your hand while we walk around." Roxana said, even using a friendly tone that worked best with younger children. There, that should help out a lot so Elsa could be the one to distract the younger girl while Rox relied on her memory and ability to pick people out in a crowd to help find the girls family faster.
