Yes, Zoe certainly felt silly holding her girlfriend's hand during the "scary" scene of a Disney movie. Riley let her, let her and squeezed as if this wasn't strange whatsoever. Zoe felt a good deal more comfortable just knowing that, feeling her body relax, all the tension the scene brought on sort of melting away. It probably helped that she really did know what was coming next, could already see it building. And that Riley offered something that had Zoe flushing.
"Do you think you can?" she said, looking up. "Um, I don't, I didn't mean that as insulting it's just.. hard," Zoe flushed and looked back. The music was picking up and she couldn't help but be as enthralled as she was the first time. She could still remember that prickling sensation, as if something in her life was going to be forever altered just by watching this. Somehow she couldn't help but get this feeling that maybe something else would be added to that memory, since she had trouble believing that Riley wasn't going to try to sing it despite what Zoe had just said.

At the question, and the added little bit after to assure Riley she wasn't being insulted, Riley grinned and winked at Zoe. "Just watch me." She said playfully, poking Zoe in the nose again as she looked up to the movie and waited. When Elsa began singing, Riley smoothly joined in and just let the song carry her. It was easy to follow along considering the number of times she had sung it. And actually, Riley had no trouble keeping up with the higher notes of the song, and even smiled when they came. Once the song was over, she grinned down at Zoe.
"Tada."
Was she bragging? Ok, maybe a little. Not really. But a little.

Actually, Zoe was much more likely to listen than to watch, but she certainly wasn't going to talk over the rising music as it came from the television. She did pull her hand down, shifting slightly to try and look both at her girlfriend and the screen. She might have seen them both enough to have memorized pretty well every detail, but she hadn't put them together.
Until now.
Because Riley slid into the song almost too easily. Her voice worked really well for it, and Zoe felt goosebumps rising within the first few lines of it. Even more surprising, on some levels, was how easily Riley matched the notes. It wasn't until about the second chorus that Zoe finally remembered that her girlfriend did, after all, have an ability that quite literally meant that she could mimic whatever sound she possible wanted. By that point she'd already become quite enraptured into the song, and she was almost sad to have it in.
Naturally she had to clap, if silently, as the performance ended, before reaching up to pull her girlfriend down for a quick kiss. "You're going to spoil me," she insisted, beaming up at Riley with pure affection.

Her song got a soft applaud, which had her smiling as Zoe pulled her down for a kiss that Riley easily and somewhat eagerly returned, chuckling as they separated at Zoe's words. "Maybe I want to." She replied, mirroring the expression back to Zoe as she kissed her on the forehead before looking back up to the tv to watch, observing as Anna traveled to try and find her sister. Even though she had seen it numerous times, Riley had to admit she never got sick of it. The music was to nice and the overall message too adorable and sweet.
That and she loved getting to see Hans getting punched at the end. It was so satisfying.

The thought of someone besides her father wanting to spoil her made Zoe's toes practically curl. That said person definitely meant it in ways that her father didn't added a little more warmth to things. The urge to turn off the movie and just enter into a tender make-out session did rise in Zoe for a few seconds there, even as Riley kissed her on the forehead.
However, the film proved quite distracting, which Zoe likely would've predicted if she'd paused to think about it. her attention soon became focused on the antics of the various characters. Naturally she had to hum and quasi-sing along with the last few remaining songs, "In Summer" being too adorable not to sing and "Fixer Upper" being another favorite (though not quite up to "Love is an Open Door" in Zoe's mind, which was a shame given how the film turned out).
"It's really nice how it all turned out," Zoe said, shifting to look up at Riley again. "I'm glad that Elsa doesn't have a prince. It, um, makes it easier for me to imagine myself as her," she flushed at that, before shifting again. "And you are far too comfortable. I'll end up falling asleep in your lap like a dog or a cat or something."

As the film progressed, Riley felt herself relaxing more and more, utterly content with the whole situation. Her girlfriend just lying in her lap while they watched a movie together. It wasn't some insanely fancy date, but Riley loved it all the same. Maybe because that's just it; it's so normal. The fact that I'm loving this and it's just so..... ordinary. yet we're still enjoying each other's company. Riley realized with a smile as she lightly hummed and sang through some of the other songs as the movie went on.
Zoe spoke, and Riley looked back down. She had to smile at Zoe's remark on how glad she was for Elsa's singleness. "I'm glad too. The last disney princess I remember that didn't really need a man was Mulan." Riley stated before playfully poking Zoe in the nose again. "And I definitely think you and Elsa are basically the same person." She teased a little. But at then mention of falling asleep in her lap, Riley's smile softened to a warm one.

Zoe had to smile slightly at the thought of Mulan. She'd certainly been an interesting princess too. Well, technically she wasn't a princess, nor was Elsa, for that matter. But that struck Zoe as being a frivolous detail, something that was definitely not something they should be thinking of now. That feeling doubled as she saw Riley's warm gaze looking down at her, heard those words.
"It's less tired and more... warm and safe and just... good," Zoe replied. She smiled shyly up at Riley, flushing a little. She looked away for a moment, chewing her cheek while she considered. "I, ah, wouldn't mind, um, if you maybe wanted to... to maybe do... girlfriend... stuff?" Wow, that was mature. Zoe shifted, sitting up a bit more. "I mean, I want to--if you do, that is, and--well, not, well, I mean, like.." she gestured, not sure how you were supposed to go around asking for this. With Alice it had been almost a formal proposition. With Devyn it had been a matter of desperation. With Riley... with Riley Zoe felt like it needed to be some kind of equal proposition, like Riley should feel it like she did and they should just sort of lean into it, let it happen...

Riley's smile strengthened and warmed at Zoe's words as her heart swelled. The fact that Zoe felt safe with her made Riley feel a little proud of herself. Heh, well waddaya know? She wondered as Zoe's face flushed and she looked away, looking pensive. When Zoe turned back and worded her thoughts, Riley blinked a bit in surprise. Girlfriend stuff? Riley though as Zoe sat up. Then it hit Riley and she had to chuckle. Taking her jacket that she had quickly grabbed, Riley shifted her position a little to wrap it around Zoe before pulling her in for a hug and having their lips meet as Riley flopped back on the couch with Zoe in her arms and their lips still connected. Once they stopped bouncing from the sudden action, Riley pulled her head back a little and grinned at Zoe.
"Of course, Zoe." She assured the girl with a chuckle, snuggling into her happily

Yes.
Girlfriend stuff.
Riley wrapped her arms around Zoe and she let out a little giggle. Just that touch set loose a flood of butterflies fluttering around in Zoe's entire body, making everything tingle. For a moment she almost thought that her power had inverted in on itself, leaving her feeling just so wonderfully... tingly inside. She felt Riley's lips taste hers, and she responded, threading her arms around Riley's body as she did. They settled in, and Zoe smiled as Riley spoke.
"Less talking, more girlfriend stuff," she said, before leaning up to lightly kiss Riley's lips. She started to deepen it before remembering: pulling back and looking at her girlfriend with that moment of sincerity. "Pull back when you start to get all tingly," she said. Then she flushed. "I mean, you know what I mean," she leaned forward then, kissing again, feeling her toes curl and her body heat as she wrapped herself up in Riley.

Riley had to smile in the kiss at Zoe's giggle and how quickly she responded. If it were possible, Riley would be content just kissing Zoe for an hour or so. Even though her mouth slowly started going numb, she loved it. Loved how Zoe tasted and just how she felt. Seriously, Riley would've been content like that forever. Although she did pull away to talk. But apparently Zoe was having none of that as she kissed Riley again and made the punky girl chuckle.
However, Zoe pulled away again to remind Riley of the dangers of too long a kiss. Riley only managed to nod before their lips met again and Riley was in sheer bliss. She hugged the girl close, wrapping her up in the embrace as Riley's eyes shut and she deepened the kiss herself. Butterflies were having a field day in her stomach, and it felt like someone had injected sunshine into her veins she got so giggly. She could feel the creeping numbness approaching, but ignored it as much as she could and as long as she could before finally having to pull away, panting a little as she grinning at Zoe. Well, that was nice.

This felt far too good. Too right. Too perfect. Zoe couldn't help but almost feel like her other girlfriends had just been practice for Riley, letting her get some techniques and kinks out so that she could really show someone the affection that she had buried within her. Riley just knew how to move with Zoe, what to say, what to do, how to kiss her just right. Zoe could feel her toes curling, particularly as Riley started to deep, sinking more passion into the kiss. Zoe's head spun as she kissed back, loving every moment of it all, losing herself in the raw emotions of it, of this girl who made her feel so right and safe and wanted, even with her guard down right now.
And Riley pulled away. Zoe was short of breath too, looking at her girlfriend. "Wow," she said, pausing to lick her lips. Even hers felt a little numb. "I... that was really... nice," she flushed, shifting again. "Um, should---" Zoe chewed her cheek again. "Like, um, there's... with tongues and mouths open and--" Zoe flushed dark, looking at her girlfriend. "I don't think, um, I don't think my tongue... paralyzes people?"
She had to smile awkwardly at that. It had to be one of the strangest things she'd said to anyone, and she wasn't even sure why she said it. Because she wanted to go further with Riley... in point of fact, she wanted to go quite far with Riley just... not now. She already had a plan for that, as silly as it felt to even be thinking that.

'Wow.'
The awed word made Riley blush a little, as did the sexy gesture that Zoe may or may not have realized was making Riley stare for a second or two. But she soon ripped her eyes back up to Zoe's as the girl went on. Zoe flushed very dark before commenting on her tongue. Which in turn made Riley flush but also chuckle a little. "I was a little, um.... distracted. I couldn't tell." Riley admitted with a smile, rubbing the back of her neck. She was getting better at talking while her mouth was numb, but that didn't mean the words she said had no effect on her brain's scolding. Wow. Way to admit that. Her brain thought.

Flushing, squirming, heavy breathing, yes, it was rather obvious that they were most definitely... enjoying themselves. Zoe couldn't help but have another flash of embarrassment but, well, she happened to be in her room. They were adults. They were in a relationship. This was quite literally what they were supposed to be doing right now. Though Zoe still couldn't help but feel embarrassed at having somehow distracted Riley... whatever that meant.
"Well, um, I guess we'll... see?" she said. She leaned forward again, tentatively hovering near Riley, just in case she needed to pull back. Her lips hovered just a bit above her girlfriend's, just quivering there for a few seconds. She swallowed again before lowering, gently kissing Riley yet again. The emotions seeped out of Zoe, as impossible to contain as ever. The affection, the want, the lust, the gratitude, it all came out as she gently kissed Riley, slowly increasing it, letting her tongue tentatively flick inside her girlfriend's for a moment. Just a bit, as Zoe pulled back and flushed, looking at Riley with her brown eyes wide.
"Am I doing it alright? Are your lips okay?" she couldn't help but ask, a hand coming up to nearly touch said lips, stopping just short of actually doing so, mostly as Zoe realized that doing so wouldn't be... prudent.

Oh... Zoe wasn't to experiment. Riley could only blink as suddenly her beautiful girlfriend's face was once again close to hers. God, she could even smell her, not to mention feel her on top. No no no, bad thoughts. Stop. Riley's mind desperately stated even as Riley's eyes were stuck between looking at Zoe's eyes and then her lips as they drew nearer. There was a gulp before a light kiss literally bursting with emotion. Riley could feel each one flowing into her as the kiss deepened and then... Oh god.
It might've been experimenting but it was driving Riley a tad wild. Before she could even really get herself to be able to respond, Zoe pulled away, asking if she had done it right. Riley's eyes were wide as she looked at Zoe and her face had flushed pretty badly. gulping, she only managed a nod before forcing out a "Y-yeah."

This felt far, far too good. It always did, which was always the problem for Zoe. At time she almost felt as if she were some sort of emotional vampire, like she'd picked up empathy as a sort of bonus ability somewhere along those lines. But then again, humans had been like that for ages, possibly before mutants. Zoe could feel her own inner fires burning and she knew that she just felt deeply for this girl, this wonderful, sexy girl who cared for her. And she wanted to show that deep emotion and, well, this struck her as being quite the way to do it. Then again, she'd all but been trained by her last girlfriends, so, well.
Yeah. And it felt odd to not be the one flushing for a change. "Are you sure? You look really red," Zoe said, reaching up to tuck back some hair. "We can stop if you want. Or if you're lips are getting too numb or something along those lines. I don't... I don't want to push you if you don't--" Zoe could remember discussions with Alice, and she just didn't know what to do in the matter, despite what her body and her emotions were just screaming at her to do right then and there.
