God, could I do this forever. Riley thought, but knew she had to pull away to keep her mouth from going completely numb. However, Zoe reached back up and pulled Riley in for another kiss, this one laden with emotion from the other girl: affection, comfort, and just so much.... love? Something strong like that, only Riley hesitated to call it love. that wasn't until they were both ready to admit it. Riley didn't want it to be some term they threw around. That was something they would only use when they meant it.
Riley also kept her mind off of the fact that Zoe was pressing into her without a bra-- No! Stop! Stoooop!-- and kissing her. But then, just as swiftly as it happened, Zoe turned back to the movie with all the excitement of a child. Riley was definitely dazed from it, but eventually chuckled and wrapped her beautiful and quirky little girlfriend up in her arms, cuddling with her as she watched the movie with her-- a large smile on the punky girl's face.

Zoe watched the song, humming along with it, seeming entirely too childlike for those moments. How much had she longed to have this? To have someone sing outside her window and call her out to play and-- "Oh!" Zoe said, shooting up and waving a hand. she pointed at the screen for a moment. "Oh!" She looked back at Riley, smiling and pointing at the screen, then at them. "That's us! Well, I mean, we're not sisters but--" she pointed again, "you're my Anna!"
She turned, grinning widely as she looked back at her girlfriend, practically vibrating with excitement. She leaned over to Riley, practically poking her again. "Sing it for me?" she asked, grinning wider and wider, practically getting ready to start tickling her girlfriend if that's what it took. What was the point in having a musician for a girlfriend if you couldn't get her to sing to you?

Riley would've been content just staying like that for the rest of time to be honest, but suddenly, Zoe was excited and shooting up, pointing at the screen and insisting that two two girls were Elsa and Anna, and that Riley was Zoe's Anna-- which of course made her smile.
But then Zoe was going on, looking even more excited as she looked back at Riley and asked her to sing the song for her. Riley smirked and raised an eyebrow at her before glancing at the screen and then back to Zoe. Laughing, she wrapped her arms around Zoe and nuzzled into her neck with a wide grin.
"Do you wanna build a snowman?"
And because she really couldn't resist that excited face of Zoe's Riley sang. it helped that she had a sister just as obsessed with the movie and just as willing to bring Riley along to watch it. She had memorized the whole song at this point. But it was different now. Because she wasn't just singing it for fun. She was singing it for Zoe.

Zoe let out a slight squeak as Riley began singing. She turned to quickly mute the television for a moment before turning back. She stared up at her girlfriend as Riley continued. She did know about the younger sister after all, and was actually looking forward to "meeting" her or maybe even outright meeting her at some point. For some reason, Zoe just assumed that was how things were going to happen. She would meet Riley's sister, possibly her whole family. Riley would meet her parents... somehow. That's just how this was going and where they were going to end up. Simple as that.
For now, Zoe just listened as Riley sang, staring enraptured at her all the while. When she finished, Zoe leaned forward to lightly kiss her. "Thank you so much," she said, putting meaning into each word. "I just want you to sing for me all the time. I'll write you poems and keep taking your picture. Fair's fair," she smiled and snuggled down again. After all: there was another song coming up on the actual movie soon.

A kiss for a song? Not too shabby. And Zoe seemed genuinely pleased. When she thanked the punky girl, every word seemed laced with meaning. Riley really had done something for Zoe. And then there was the proposition that made Riley laugh. Oh Zoe. She thought with a smile as she sang "Deal~" Before cracking up.
But soon enough she was cuddling with Zoe soon again, eyes back on the screen as Riley smiled. Aware of the fast approaching song that. Lily took great pleasure in making her and Riley do a duet to. And Riley had no doubt in her mind that Zoe would ask her to sing it.

In actuality, Zoe wouldn't be quite expecting Riley to sing the next song, given what it was about and all. No doubt she'd insist on it for the romantic one that would soon follow, but the next would be Anna's solo one about opening up and being excited and all that good stuff. Many of the people who watched the movie with Zoe certainly made the connection between her and Elsa, but it was also almost tempting to point out how much like the adorkable Anna she happened to be as well.
And Anna's song started up soon, and, as was pretty much expected, Zoe started singing along. Not loudly, not over the television or anything like that (unless Riley picked up the remote and made that happen, in which case she'd find her girlfriend lapsing into an embarrassed silence, poking her until she started the music up again). Zoe didn't have quite the voice that Riley had or anything like that, but she could carry a tune, certainly enough to follow along with Anna's not overly challenging solo. (And to do Anna's part in a certain duet that yes, she would most definitely insist on doing with her girlfriend).

Riley had to chuckle when Zoe started singing, even if it was fainter than Riley's voice had been. Instead of overpower the other girl's sound, Riley sang along but kept her voice quiet so she could hear Zoe's. And in a way, they did a duet, singing together. It reminded Riley a bit of Lily, and the punky girl had to remember to get the girl to skype with her girlfriend. Riley had a feeling they would get along like two peas in a pod.
Once the song ended, Riley snuggled into Zoe again with a smile, although it turned into a scowl when Hans came into view. Honestly, she hated the guy. And that was saying something. Although he was just a cartoon character, there were people like him that Riley couldn't stand. Luckily, she hadn't met any at Bellefonte yet

Zoe thought she could hear Riley singing again, and part of her almost wanted to stop, to listen to Riley and to the movie and that duet. However, she found herself still singing along, even knowing that she was most definitely the weakest voice among the three. Still, it was a moment she wanted to have, and part of her almost wished she could somehow take a picture of them cuddling up together so she'd never forget it. She supposed she'd just have to hold onto her memory in other ways.
Song ended; they snuggled up again, watching the film unfold. Zoe watched silently: she knew that some people might have thought Anna rather foolish, but she felt like she understood the other girl. It was so hard not having someone who cared about you that the moment you found someone who seemed to it was hard not to cling to them, to fall in love.
"Um," Zoe said, squirming slightly to look up at Riley, "did you... with this song...maybe?" Zoe flushed, more embarrassed at her own shyness than anything else. After all, it wasn't as if Riley had been particularly shy or reluctant to share her voice until now. Why would this song be any different?

The film progressed until it got to the next song, where suddenly Zoe was squirming and looking up at her, stumbling over her words to ask a question. Something about the song.... She wants to sing it with me. Riley realized with a smile as she chuckled and pressed her nose to Zoe's playfully, grinning. "Well, I mean..."
"Love is an open door~"
Ok, the start up might've been a little similar to some sappy love movie, but Riley had to admit it was fun to sing with Zoe

Zoe stuck her tongue out at Riley for a moment as Riley teased her. Then it was a matter of sliding into the parts. Zoe did know the plot: she'd seen the movie a few (dozen) times by this point. So she knew what the song would actually entail. But there was something to singing it with Riley matching her voice to hers, hearing the two going together. Riley knew all the beats and dips of the song just as well as Zoe did. And Zoe could definitely do a good impersonation of Anna, right down to the awkward ticks.
There was definitely something to having someone who you could perfectly match lines like "jinx" and so forth, not to mention "say goodbye to the pain of the past." Zoe could feel the song taking on a bit of a different meaning as they embodied it, sliding into the words and living them for a few moments. After Zoe's enthusiastic "yes," she let out a little giggle and leaned up, taking Riley's lips in hers for another kiss, relatively long, with the Disney music serving an almost too perfect backdrop.
Zoe pulled away, smiling shyly up. "Don't worry: you don't have to marry me," ... yet?

If there was one thing Riley absolutely loved, it was music. Seriously-- she was a musician for pete's sake. it was one of the few things Riley really held dear to her heart, and that she could really appreciate more than anything. So sitting there? Making a duet with Zoe? With a song about love? If that wasn't special, Riley had no idea what could be. And as the song came to an end, Riley even got another long kiss that she easily met and answered before they pulled away.
Zoe smiled shyly at Riley, and the girl had to wonder what was going through her head. She got her answer soon enough, and had to smile as she put their foreheads together and chuckled. "That's not so scary at all, Zoe. And it wouldn't worry me." She stated, blushing slightly at her own words.

Zoe actually blushed as dark as ever as Riley insisted that her bit about the whole marriage thing didn't seem so scary. It didn't, she guessed, and she had to admit to imagining herself with Riley's last name already. Despite her rather passionate claims about her own name, Zoe had always figured that she'd give it up for whomever won her heart. Besides, didn't Zoe Forrester have a nice ring to it?
"If--if you think about it," Zoe said, wanting to push aside the thoughts that were making her feel far too warm, "the song is really sweet, and it does mesh up with us. Well, besides the bits about sandwiches, but eat with me a few more times and you'll be doing that too," Zoe let out a slight giggle before shifting again to cuddle against Riley, this time effectively putting her head in her girlfriend's lap, looking up at her.
"You're not planning on betraying me so you can get my kingdom or anything though, right?" Zoe asked, reaching up to tap her girlfriend on the nose again, smiling playfully all the while. She knew the bit where Elsa and Anna argued was coming, and while she understood its position in the film, it still unnerved her sometimes, more than she cared to admit.

All the blood seemed to rush to Zoe's face at the remark on the marriage thing, and Riley couldn't help but blush more. She had sort of had a little bit of a Freudian slip, but she couldn't leave Zoe with nothing. And it's true. Her brain pointed out. The whole marriage thing was huge yet... Not as scary as she thought. But then Zoe was talking and Riley ripped her bought a back to her.
The little joke on how the song fit them had Riley smiling. "It does fit." She agreed with a chuckle. "But don't tempt me, Zoe. Cause I love sandwiches." She added, letting Zoe shift her head down to Riley's lap. Almost instinctively, Riley's hands went to Zoe's hair, playing with it lightly and occasionally scratching Zoe's scalp with her nails. Riley just loved playing with Zoe's hair. God I'm weird.
There was a tap to her nose that made Riley scrunch it up before looking down and grinning at Zoe. "Never." she said firmly, meaning it. "I don't need or want a kingdom. I just want you." she said, poking Zoe's nose in return as she temporarily forgot about the movie and simply looked at Zoe with a smile

The mention of sandwiches had Zoe smiling again. She kept the expression as Riley's hands went to her hair again. She didn't mind the petting, even if it wasn't really something that she'd considered before now. Then again, her last two girlfriends hadn't gotten to experience what she was like with longer hair, what with her having chopped it all off upon receiving her power. It did strike her as a bit odd but, well, it also struck her as Riley's way of showing affection, and Zoe soaked that up as much as ever.
A poke, and Zoe smiled up. "I don't know," she said, shifting slightly to look back at the scene. Elsa was using her powers and terrifying the villagers. Zoe's smile fell for a bit as she took a deep breath. She reached a hand up to grab one of Riley's, feeling almost like a scared child. "It's funny, but I know how the story goes, and yet I still get all tense at this part. The song though..." she had to flush slightly. Like many, she loved "Let it Go," but she also most definitely saw it as anthemic, particularly given how everything in her life had turned out lately. She figured that Riley would figure that out and, of course, there would be no talking during that part (or the Anna meets Kristoff scene, as Zoe thought them adorable [this wasn't even going into the Olaf bits]).
Now, singing on, the other hand... well, actually, this was one song that Zoe didn't even try to sing. She sometimes just liked listening to the voice. And now, having seen the actress in person...

Riley felt Zoe tense up a little in her lap, and then grab for her hand. Riley easily slide her hand into Zoe's, fitting them together perfectly as she looked down at Zoe with a faint bit of concern. She seems a little scared. She thought as Zoe spoke and revealed why she was tense. Riley glanced back up at the movie and saw it was the scene where Elsa fled. Which always made Riley a bit sad. Some of the things Elsa created in that moment were beautiful. It was sad to see people so judgmental.
But then Zoe mentioned the next song and Riley smiled a little. "Do you want me to sing that?" She asked before looking up and watching the movie. Lily always forced Riley into singing it with her. It was something of a tradition between the sisters now.
