A grin, a hug, and a light kiss, along with the reminder of their first date, a reminder that again had Zoe blushing. It probably didn't help that the hug pulled up her shirt and bared a fair bit of skin too, or the proximity to a girl she found painfully attractive at times.
"You're going to be quite disappointed," Zoe insisted, moving to lightly kiss Riley's cheek, "as I get very engrossed in it. I may even forget to snuggle you properly," she smiled shyly, flushing a little. "And most of my friends have grown rather tired of watching it with me. Olivia never really got it, and I think Ezra keeps bringing over movies just to not hear me sing along with it any more," she flushed again, chewing her cheek. "But if it's okay with you..."
Zoe trailed off, shifting on her feet, lifting up a hand to play with her hair again. She couldn't believe how warm and comfortable she felt, and all while looking very disheveled. "Also, I should make you dress in horrible around the room clothing too. It's hardly fair that you get to see me all," she gestured at herself, "and yet you get to look all dashing."

Riley grinned at that and shrugged, nuzzling into Zoe's neck a little. "Don't worry. I'll make up for you then." She said with a wink and a chuckle. "And hey, it's got great music. That definitely makes it rewatchable. It's definitely okay with me." Riley assured, moving some stray hairs out of Zoe's face, which made Riley chuckle a little as Zoe reached up to play with it again. It was such a cute motion.
At the mention of Riley changing, the girl smirked and looked down at her t-shirt and jeans. "Dashing? Zoe, I'm just in jeans and a t-shirt. If you think this is dashing, just wait until I have a suit." She teased, placing a small kiss on Zoe's nose with a chuckle before looking around. "And if you really want me to change, I mean I'll do it." She offered with a shrug, although she was blushing just a bit. Wow, pretty ballsy Riles. Her brain commented

Zoe's smile grew as Riley insisted that she didn't need to worry about the film. It seemed almost silly now, to have worried about something like that around her. Riley would have enjoyed it simply because Zoe did. She gave a reason, but that would've been reason enough: it certainly was reason enough for Zoe to flush. The nuzzling and the moving of her own flyaway hairs certainly helped matters again.
And yes, Zoe had to look at her girlfriend as she pointed out her own outfit. "That is what you wear when you step outside," she pointed out. She felt the kiss, heard the offer and flushed. 'Well, I mean, you don't--it's just that I only have one layer of clothing and you have two and--" and Zoe suddenly realized that she'd given that away. She froze for a moment, her mouth working, her face growing increasingly red. Finally she made a short little dash toward her room, pulling the shirt down as she went.
"I'm going to get the movie!" she insisted, her voice turning incredibly, painfully British (imagine someone making a caricature of proper British and you'd probably fall a little short).

Riley shrugged when Zoe pointed out that she wore these clothes around the school. "True." She offered with a chuckle before Zoe went on about her own clothes and layers and-- Whoa, wait. What? One layer? Just as Zoe froze, Riley's brain spun and figured out what Zoe meant. Holy shit she's not wearing anything underneath. Her brain recognized. Instantly Riley flushed a little from the realization as Zoe fled back to her room. However, Riley had to smile a little at how british Zoe had gotten in her embarrassment. If the girl hadn't hightailed it away, she would've easily kissed her again.
"Alright." Riley said, slowly following Zoe but staying out of her room in case the girl was changing too.

Ok, so now Zoe had a dilemma. She could either change or not change. Riley knew, which meant that the decision had some weight. If she changed, it sent some sort of signal, right? Like, maybe she wasn't ready for that sort of cuddling. Except Zoe wasn't really sure if she was or not. Oh God, what if Riley thought that Zoe didn't trust her? like, she didn't trust the girl to just be cool about her girlfriend just wearing a t-shirt and boxers and stuff. Not like Zoe wasn't already planning on dressing sexy for the next date or anything like that. So, yeah, Zoe should trust Riley.
And she'd already eaten up a lot of time, which didn't leave her much to find her copy of Frozen in a hurry. Zoe did locate it, grabbed it, and scurried back out into the room, still wearing what she'd worn when she'd headed in. "Found it!" she said, her voice sinking back to much more acceptable versions of Britishness. She walked toward the television, moving some hair behind an ear as she went. "It's just the standard DVD version, so I hope that's okay," she said, glancing back over at Riley and offered a shy smile, one that she tried to use to show that she definitely was trusting Riley and not at all nervous about the prospect of cuddling with her girlfriend or anything.

Eventually Zoe came out again, and Riley had no idea or not if she had changed. Although it didn't make all too much of a difference to Riley. Wasn't like she was about to start groping the girl or anything. I like to think I have a bit more class than that. Riley thought as she smiled at Zoe warmly, watching her walk over to the television and apologize for only having the standard version. Riley only chuckled and shrugged, walking over to Zoe and planting a swift kiss on her nose. "It's fine, Zoe. Really." She assured the girl before walking around and seating herself on the couch.
She turned her head to grin at Zoe, opening her arms wide. "Well c'mon Zoe! Let's cuddle and watch us some Frozen." Riley said, chuckling.

Another kiss, more promises of it being alright. Of course it would: she was with Riley. Riley made things alright. She'd made the dating auction alright. She'd made that phone call alright. And she'd make the whole cuddling thing quite alright. Why had Zoe even been worried? She really should just stop worrying around Riley entirely.
She watched her girlfriend heading to the couch, seeing how comfortable she was. Why couldn't she just be that relaxed? She cared about Riley, right? And Riley had clearly cared for her. So why act like that wasn't a thing? Zoe turned, putting the movie in and getting everything started, pausing for a moment to tuck some hair behind an ear before heading back.
She then slid into Riley's arms, pulling one down across her chest and giving the fingers a light kiss. "I don't know why you put up with me being such a worrywart," She insisted, leaning back. She could hear the music playing, and she reached for fingers to thread through, wanting that touch. "You know why I like this movie, right?" she asked, looking up at Riley, wanting to hear the reason, having full confidence in Riley figuring it out. After all: it was about a girl with dangerous abilities who'd worn gloves for a long time before learning to let go through the love and support of those around her.

Zoe slide easily into Riley's arms, making the punky girl smile warmly at how right it felt. Zoe did surprise her a bit when she took her hand and deliberately pulled it down over Zoe's chest while finger her fingers. The action made Riley blush, sensing that there was more to it than just a simple kiss. It seemed to convey a sort of trust that had Riley's heart swelling as she held her girlfriend snuggly in her arms and chuckled at Zoe's comment, kissing the top of her head. "Because it's you." She said simply, figuring Zoe would understand what she meant. She absolutely adorned the girl, and her worrying only added to how utterly cute and lovable she was.
Riley could feel fingers search for her's and she met them without hesitation, threaded her fingers with the girl's despite the numbness. Then there was the question about the movie that had Riley smiling and nodding. "Because you're Elsa." She said, kissing her head again with a chuckle."Because you both went through the same things, and ended up realizing how truly amazing you were in the end with the help of friends. By realizing you were loved just the way you were."

Zoe raised her brows and smiled as Riley insisted that it was her. She could already hear the previews running, but they hardly did more than provide backdrop for Riley's words. As if Zoe wouldn't be paying more attention to that voice than anything else around her. She flexed her fingers slightly, careful to pay attention to how Riley's looked and reacted, listening. You're Elsa, a slight kiss.
"Yep," Zoe said, sounding quite pleased. "I've the collection of gloves to prove it too. You're lucky: I was already out of the castle by the time you met me," she snuggled deeper into Riley, moving her hand to reach for a blanket left on the couch. She pulled this down slightly, moving to slid it over their hands. Then she carefully worked her fingers back into the hand-holding position. "It was just so amazing watching this for the first time, right when I'd first entered this strange new world and everything."
Zoe took another big sigh, looking at the film for a moment. The title screens were starting. "I knew you'd know," she said softly, resting her head back against her girlfriend, relaxing, almost melting into her arms.

Zoe certainly seemed pleased with RIley's answer, which in turn made the girl smile somewhat triumphantly and definitely warmly as she similarly snuggled more into Zoe and chuckled at her mention of gloves. "Lucky me. Although I still would've gone to the mountains to find you." She assured the girl with a kiss to Zoe's cheek before settling back down and helping with the blanket. As Zoe wrapped their hand, Riley eagerly intertwined their fingers again, wearing a faint but affectionate smile as she listened to Zoe talk. "I'll bet it was." Riley agreed. "Cause it's basically you Zoe, and you're more than amazing." She added honestly, which might've been a bit overly romantic, but whatever.
Then came a big, content sigh from Zoe that had Riley exhaling peacefully as well. Zoe's remark made Riley smile gently and plant another kiss atop Zoe's head before holding her in her arms securely and warmly. "Of course, Zoe. Because I want to know all about you." Riley assured her before looking at the tv screen, happily holding her girlfriend and watching Frozen. As long as they were together, Riley would've been fine with anything.

Zoe had to smile at the mention of going to the mountains to find her. "Maybe I should've waited," she said, looking up at Riley and smiling, "because I always wanted a talking snowman friend," and she wouldn't have been all that surprised to have run into one. This was Bellefonte after all, where Zoe's previous girlfriends had turned into wolves made of shadow and fluttered about on pixie wings. And her latest could sound like anything she wanted. World of wonders, just like a movie, really.
Except that Zoe didn't think she was nearly as amazing, despite what Riley said. She did hear the comment and received the kiss. Zoe held a finger up to press against Riley's lips as she continued though: "No talking, the song's about to start," she insisted, before lowering it and cuddling in. "Plus, Sven's cutest when he's a baby."
Zoe smiled a little, knowing that she'd just teased Riley again. She adjusted a little more, practically sinking into her girlfriend. She reached up to rub the arms that drew around her, leaning into Riley. This, this was what she'd always wanted. Just this comfort and this ease and... it was all just so easy. Was this what it was supposed to be like all along? Was this what she'd been missing?

Riley chuckled at the idea of an actual Olaf running around. It would've been adorable, and honestly not that much of a surprise. They went to a school where kids could fly, turn into animals, teleport, and read minds. The idea of a talking snowman wasn't that far fetched to be honest. Riley would be more surprised that no one made one yet. Bu then as she was about to speak, Zoe raised her hand and put a finger to Riley's lips, shushing her to watch the opening. While Riley did chuckle, she also playfully licked the finger before Zoe pulled it away, grinning mischievously at her before settling in again and turning her attention to the movie.
Zoe shifted again as the opening minutes went on, and Riley could feel Zoe reach up to rub the arms that held her. It mad Riley blush a little, but mostly snuggle into Zoe even more, reveling in the warmth and comfort she was getting from the other girl, smiling easily and warmly. This truly felt.... perfect.

So that licking felt a little too good. Zoe flushed at that, trying to just give in to the snuggle. She didn't recall being this... sexual before the past year or so too. Had it just been all that time with Devyn, who practically demanded physical affection from her or something? She definitely liked Riley, really thought her attractive, but, well, she knew she didn't want to sleep with her until she was at least certain they were in love. Which seemed simple, really, but Zoe knew it was so complex. Particularly when Riley did little things like sing to her or lick her finger or something that got her a little bothered and slightly squirmy.
Thankfully they weren't exactly watching a sexy movie or anything like that. Hard to think too much of getting hot and bothered when you were listening to men chop ice and sing, then there was the bit with the sisters.
"I used my power against my sister too," Zoe said softly as they watched Elsa and Anna play on screen. Just a bit: Zoe still remained enraptured by the film, but she felt like she had to reiterate that for some reason. She shifted to look up at Riley for a moment, as if yet again reminding her that her girlfriend was damaged goods. Not broken, certainly: all the cracks were filled in and being filled in as they went forward, but with some baggage...

Riley couldn't help but smile at the song, tapping her foot lightly to the beat, before suddenly she heard Zoe speak. Reminding her about her sister just as the two sisters appeared on screen. it was as if Zoe wanted to see how Riley would react again to the reminder. As if seeing it anything changed. Riley glanced down at Zoe when she looked up, and couldn't help but smile as she placed another lingering kiss on Zoe's lips; trying to convey the sheer affection she had for the girl, and above all-- acceptance. When Riley pulled away, she snuggled into Zoe even more.
"I know." She said. "But it doesn't change a thing about how I feel about you." She assured her firmly.

Kissing Riley felt far too good. Zoe could feel that affection in the lips, knowing how much she'd craved it. It made her forget everything. Forget the cold weeks by herself until the recruiters found her. Forget finding out that Devyn had cheated on her. Forget telling Alice she had to go. Forget everything but the moment and this wonderful girl who filled it. She was very tempted to keep on kissing, especially as Riley firmly insisted that it didn't change anything.
That did make Zoe reach up for her girlfriend, pulling up to kiss her yet again. She wanted to pour so much into that, the affection, her comfort, the way Riley made her feel. She could feel the other girl pressing against her, and was again acutely aware of how little she technically had on. Would Riley just... touch her? No, not Riley, not unless Zoe asked and she wouldn't even if... did she...?
"Oh, it's the snowman song!" Zoe said, turning from her girlfriend, pulling off lips that may very well be stunned, and staring at the screen like an excited five year old.
