Devyn was happy that Charity didn't push or ask any more questions on the matter. They were moving on and likely about to go their separate ways. Charity assured her first that it was really okay with what had happened today. That she had to deal with worse in the past, it was good that Dev was trying to improve, and that they were going to keep working at it. Devyn didn't say anything the whole time and just gave a few small nods to show that she understood and was still listening to what her trainer was saying to her.
Charity even suggested that Devyn keep practicing on her own and try with objects or things that were a lot smaller then her. Dev could not help but to start to chuckle a little at the suggestion to even try it out with the staff cat. Oh, that so had to happen. Granted Devyn might try first swallowing him in her shadow beast form, and then saying it was for the purpose of training. "I don't think he likes me very much, but I'll be sure to see if he is up for helping me with my power." Devyn said with a sly smirk slowly appearing on her face. It would certainly be interesting to see how the feline would react.
"I'll work on it. Thanks again for today." Devyn said as she opened up her arms for a hug, figuring it didn't hurt to get one. Plus Charity was supposed to really like hugs right? Devyn too enjoyed them, so why not give hugs as their farewell? "I'll see you around then." Devyn responded with a small smile before she would head out to go rest a little and likely eat some more.

It seemed like Charity's suggestions were going to go over fairly well. She really felt like she'd made some progress here, not only with Devyn but also just, like, in general. Like she'd figured out a bit more how to do this whole training thing her way and make progress. Devyn was even mentioning the cat and smiling.
"Well, he's staff, so he's supposed to help," Charity offered. In truth, part of her was taking perhaps a bit more joy in siccing a dog onto the cat as she should. He hadn't exactly been nice to her after all. It must have really made Devyn happy, because she spread her arms wide. Charity stared for a moment before seeming to realize that she should be doing the hug thing. So she leaned in and gave Devyn a quick one (no need to lead her on or anything).
"I'll see you around too!" Charity said, pulling back. "You could totally try some extracurriculars too, you know," Charity said, adding another nod. She raised a hand to wave and then managed to walk out without any problem. She did allow herself a slight dance of victory when she got back into the hallway, but other than that: totally cool.
