[Erin Hackett]

Erin just shrugged; she didn't really know much about heroes, villains, or really any of that stuff since it never really interested her. Too many of them felt like they were too fake or just too damn powerful for anything to really make sense. Plus all those heroes who had an ability that they would just use like once and that was it. "Well...I like girl vaginas so if the show makes them happy I don't care." Erin responded but she was mostly muttering to herself about it since it was kind of an odd thing to say out load. Yes, she was gay and proud of it but she was not the kind of person that was fine just shouting it from the roof tops or feeling the need to wear rainbows.

There was the movie to watch, and while part of Erin just wanted to get up and move far away from Tim, she stayed where she was for now. She really really was just not going to do this sort of thing with him again, because it was already hard to be out in public. She didn't want all eyes to be on her and with Tim behaving the way he was, it was kind of hard to not feel like people were just glaring in their direction and judging them. Embarrassing. She just slide down a little more in her seat, eating, watching the movie, and trying to not feel like possibly sneaking out and watching the movie later when it came out on DVD would be a good idea.

"Yeah, but I didn’t think you would be like really that bad..." Erin muttered back when Tim pointed out that he did warn her. Yes, he did but again she did not think that he was actually going to yell the whole time or throw popcorn, more like something that he felt like doing. Not in this case, he was actually doing it but at least he was starting to settle down so that was good. Erin just mainly focused on the movie, trying to ignore pretty much everything else.

Tim raised a brow as Erin mentioned liking girl vaginas and so forth. Did that have something to do with his earlier cracks about how this definitely didn't count as a date? He didn't think Erin would stoop to something like that, but at the same time he wouldn't have been overly surprised if she actually did. Maybe his whole yelling and acting out thing had really gotten her upset or something.

Well, he had warned her. So she really had no business getting all flustered and crap. He grumbled a bit as he shuffled around. She hadn't thought it would be that bad, which had him giving her a "girl, you crazy?" look. "You clearly haven't seen my people in a theater," Tim replied before turning back to the screen.

Yes he was quiet... for the beginning. He soon ended up mumbling, starting by labeling "plot holes" and "thanks for showing us that," whenever stuff came up. "Like, seriously," he hissed, gesturing at the film, "we didn't think that mentioning that we've developed an off-switch for the Hulk was a thing? No, that couldn't be anywhere else. Just establish it now," Tim grumbled and halfheartedly tossed some popcorn to the screen. They were soon coming up on the whole "enhanced humans" business, and there was no way he'd be able to keep it together then.

Tim was giving her a look, one that Erin was not sure if he did believe her or not. Did she not tell him that she was a lesbian? She was pretty sure that he knew this information and if not well then it should have been pretty clear now. This was not a date; they were just friends hanging out at the movies, and if something made a girl’s bits happen then Erin was fine with it. That was all there was too it but it still didn't help the fact that she was feeling slightly embarrassed by this all. Never again, that was certain.

She still didn't have a problem with Tim and admired that at least he had no shame with being himself but it was still poor movie theater edict. Or something like that. He was grumbling and giving her a look like she was crazy. Then a comment that had Erin looking at him as she tried to process what he meant by that. "I don't really go out to the movies and I grew up in Japan. So no, not used to this sort of thing." Erin responded, almost sounding a little upset. He could at least try and behave for the sake of this basically being her first time doing such a thing.

Erin didn't say anything the whole movie, only looking over in Tim's direction when he would speak up about something. She just kept her fingers crossed that he would not starting yelling again, half tempted to leave to 'get some more snack' since they were running low and it would give her a moment to calm herself down if he started to attack too much attention again. "Don’t get us kicked out for making a mess." Erin muttered at the fact Tim still was doing the whole popcorn throwing thing. Thankfully the movie was getting interesting and it was grabbing more of her attention, even if she did have a few issues with it here and there.

It didn't surprise Tim all that much that Erin didn't go out to movies all that much. He'd been to his share throughout the years of course, but he'd grown up nerdy and in a moderately big city and all. No, instead he felt it necessary to comment on the latter part: "What, are there no black people in Japan?" Because somehow he actually figured that was a possibility.

He kept muttering throughout the movie, and eventually had to let out a "come on!" when they introduced the whole "superior human" thing. "That's just because of studio bullshit," he mumbled under his breath, taking another deep pull of his orange soda while he did so. He heard Erin's complaint and he rolled his eyes.

"You've never seen kids at these alone," he said, before twisting and pointing. Sure enough, there were a couple of younger kids, quite possibly from Bellefonte themselves, who were knocking candy and popcorn all over the floor. Tim gave Erin another look before settling back in. Of course, he lasted about another two minutes before letting out noises. This time, at least, he was whooping and thrusting his arms up into the air. This did mean showering them both with popcorn, but Tim just saw that as part of the movie going experience.

Why would she ever go to the movies? Everything she could want or need her was typically able to get off the internet at some point. Sure the ones on the computer were not of the best quality all the time when a movie would just come out into theaters, but Erin didn't mind waiting. She had a lot of video games to play after all so it was not like she didn't have things to do. So things like going to the movies, shopping, hanging out in malls, and in general going out in public was not something she really did.

Yes, there were a few times here and there but most if not all those times were with her dad or her using her power. She looked at him when he asked his question, wondering if he was actually being serious on that or not. "Uh...well, I never really saw any that lived there. Tourist yeah, but not many people that are outside the military or have an oversea jobs live there. Its super expensive and well just like any other place its work to get citizenship over there." Erin informed him. At least the time she was over there she had not met a single person outside of tourist that were not Japanese and lived there.

There was the film to watch, which Tim was being good-ish and just mostly keeping it to muttering so at least he was trying. That made her feel a little bit better that he actually did care about her comfort level in the current situation. She didn't catch the eye roll since her eyes were mainly focused on the movie and also trying to focus on not vanishing because she was still not fully comfortable with the current situation. Tim pointed out about kids being in this sort of thing again, and she didn't open her mouth to respond. She figured her early comment about not really doing this was enough to make it clear that no she also didn't really see kids at the movies by themselves.

All of this was pretty much very new to Erin Hackett. Popcorn went into the air, falling down on them, and causing Erin to flinch. She had a displeased look on her face, but she didn't say anything anymore and just focused on the film as best as she could.

yeah, she'd definitely never seen his people at the movies. Tim was more or less willing to just let that go, and he really was trying to behave himself. He'd been enthralled by movies before, and by now he'd gotten some experience in sitting next to someone who didn't always appreciate his commentary (Lux). Still, he couldn't obviously contain himself completely.

At least when he whooped he realized that he'd probably nailed Erin with popcorn. He mumbled a few sorries and worked at brushing her off, before brandishing a napkin for her to use. Then he started edging forward more on the seat, clearly enthralled with the movie, and munching on some of the food he had left. He paused every once in a while to take a swig, but it seemed that they'd be granted at least a momentary bit of silence in Tim's own little show within a show.

The movie was pretty good, but it was not like the powers at be really see the movie so there was not really much in the way of being able to react to. Certainly Erin was at least enjoying the movie for mostly for the computer graphic effects; CG for short. They were amazing and while she still didn't really care much for the whole hero’s things in general, it was still interesting to watch and see how they decided to go about the story. There were certain things that honestly didn't make too much sense but apparently Hollywood thought people were dumb and would not notice such things.

Granted, Erin honestly would have agreed that some were indeed dumb and would watch a movie purely for whoever was acting in it or if it just had their favorite hero or villain in it. There was the whole popcorn mess to deal with, that at least Tim did help out a little bit with the cleaning up of it. Great, going to smell like butter and popcorn now. Super attractive. Erin thought to herself. It was not like she was going to be able to score any numbers from any ladies at the movies anyways. Most of them would have been here with their significant other or a friend and thus would not be available.

Time went by and soon the credits would be rolling of the movie. Erin of course remained in her seats, less for the fact that usually there was something that played at the end of the credits, and more so because she wanted to wait for most of the people in the theater to leave before her. She didn't want them pinpointing her as the one causing a ruckus and making a mess while the movie was playing. It was all Tim's fault but it was not like she was going to blame him for it; unless she was asked. "That was...pretty good." Erin spoke up as she ideally played with her buttons while she listened for the other voices to die down to know the coast was mostly clear.

Tim more or less behaved himself. Oh, there were still a few outbursts. He had to whoop at a few of the climaxes. His diatribe about the sequel baiting could practically have been developed into a blog post all of its very own. He did lean over to insist to Erin that Hawkeye was obviously the best Avenger ever. technically Tim put him under Falcon, but it wasn't like Falcon was really in this movie (for reasons that Tim didn't understand).

Tim did end up eating and drinking through most of his snacks. And soon enough, they were watching credits. "It's really good," Tim admitted, nodding. "It's great that we're totally dominating cinema right now," he pushed his glasses up and nodded slightly. Tim looked over, noticing Erin sitting, and he twisted. Clearly she was waiting for people to leave.

He twisted back. "hey, I'm sorry if, like, I embarrassed you or something. I just get caught up in it," he said, adding a slight shrug. He didn't really have anything else to say: that was pretty much how he was when he got excited, especially around anything geeky.

Erin didn't say anything more when Tim would get a little too excited, not seeing in the point of saying it over and over again. She just worked on getting used to it and not sliding down too far in her chair so she would not end up on the ground. She gave a raised brow look at Tim when he said Hawkeye was the best one, which she didn't agree with at all. She muttered something about him being like pretty much every other hero with a bow and how he didn't really have a power but she was not going to argue about it. Erin was pretty good at keeping her opinions to herself when someone really liked something, because it should have been common knowledge it was hard to change someone’s opinion on something.

Her favorite was pretty much every female that appeared on the screen, which was the one that was called Black Widow, right? Erin was not sure but what she did know what the girl was hot and also that she had red hair. Another point scored for Team Red Heads! Tim voice how it was really good and something about how they were totally dominating cinema. We? We who? Did he mean mutants, because these guys were not mutants, that was the X-men people they were 'related' to. "They were not uh...mutant." Erin muttered out, not wanting anyone still lingering around to hear them. Then Tim was actually surprising. Erin didn’t know why she was surprised, but she was and still appreciated the fact that he did.

"It's okay...I'm just not used to any of this so it was just...different and a little difficult...but made it to the end." Erin said as she gave a small smile. She hones felt a little better now that Tim had apologized to her. It at least meant that he was not a jerk absorbed so much into the movie and himself that Erin didn't matter. It made it a bit clearer that they were in fact friends. "Does not seem like there is anything after the credits." Erin spoke up as she pointed to the screen and then started to get up, collecting her trash.

Tim chuckled. "Not mutants, but there are a lot of those on the screen any more. I mean nerds,' Tim gestured. "Gone are the big budget action films with loads of dudes with rippling muscles and vague masculine tendencies. Here in their place are tons of films involving superheroes and other nerds. It's our age, Erin."

Which had Tim grinning wide and folding his hands behind his head. His legs stretched out before him, one going on top of the other. He did look back over at Erin and there was the whole apology bit which he actually did mean. Sure, he had gotten really into the movie and all, but he did acknowledge his friend, even if he did want to yet again point out that she'd totally deserved it.

"No point in rushing," Tim said. "There's a mid-credits scene, plus it's always cool to watch the credits. It's technically part of the movie, the whole decompressing thing and all," so Tim might have been a bit of a film nerd. Not quite as much as he was with other things, but he did know enough. Really, he just didn't want to move right now. He just wanted to sit, chill, and adjust his glasses. There were a lot of people milling out too, which was definitely not fun.

Oh, he didn't mean mutants but instead nerds. Erin was tempted to argue that she was not a nerd but a geek; however, that would not have been really. It was true that she was more of a geek then a nerd but she did really well in school but that was without trying and she didn't even really like school. She did get what he meant about there being people that were not all buffed out and super strong men. Well...there were still quite a few of them in there, but there were some more scrawny guys and ladies in the movie.

"I don't know if it is quite our age just yet, but it’s certainly getting closer to people understand that the nerds and the geeks are the people to be." Erin responded with a small nod. It was still not fully proof yet but it was certainly happening, especially when you had people like hipsters, who were just geeks or nerds that just wanted to make it sounds cooler or something. She was ready to go; having waited a decent amount of time to when she figured would be any showing of a little clip. However; Tim quickly proved her wrong and assured her that there was a clip that was likely coming up soon.

Erin took her seat again, still holding onto her things but looking up at the screen and waiting for the little clip to make its appearance. Typically said clips hinted to another possible movie, something coming next, or revealing something that had been a question of the audience. Typically for a lot of movies it was the reveal of someone thought to be dead to actually be still alive. There were still people around, which likely meant that they knew of the little clip to come. Erin didn't say anything more and just waited, still wanting to get out of there as soon as possible.

Tim just shrugged as Erin quibbled about details regarding the film. He already knew he was right, so he didn't see any point in actually arguing the thing further. He just stretched himself out a bit more, enjoying the feeling of his muscles stretching.

The mid-credits scene showed: Thanatos doing his thing and insisting he was going to start doing things himself and all that. Then the regular credits started. Tim watched for a while, clearly quite happy with just sitting there and enjoying this part as much as anything else. After a minute or so he did look back at Erin.

"Jeez, you really that desperate to leave?" he asked before reaching up to adjust his glasses. "You do realize that there's gonna be less people if we hang out here for a bit, right? You miss the crowds," Which struck Tim as the smart move, particularly if you were insisting that you were crowd-shy, which was supposedly Erin's thing.

Erin said nothing more on the matter since Tim said nothing more on it and even if he had, she likely would have still stayed silent. The little clip showed, it was alright but not really awe inspiring or anything, and then the normal credits were back. Erin could already here the people that remained start to move around again and it just made her want to leave. Now. She really didn't want to stay here any longer, she just wanted to dash out with the crowd, go back to her room, and hide out there for a day or two, to calm down after dealing with being in a place with so many people.

She was still wondering if anyone was going to say anything to them for the ruckus Tim had caused much earlier. Tim was then speaking up, grabbing her attention as she was getting ready to slip into her thoughts of how best to just get out of there. "Yes, I was just about to make a run for it." Erin admitted as she looked down to the ground for a moment, judging the popcorn on the floor. Tim pointed out the obvious, about how if they just waited then there would be less people and then they could leave. "I know...it's just it would be fine leaving at the same time as them...just to blend in the crowd and avoid being asked anything..." Erin spoke up as she started to fidget with the end of her shirt.

She then went silent again, figuring she could hold out a little longer but soon she was just going to run. She would at least say bye to Tim, thank him for hanging out with her, and then they would go their separate ways. He came down here alone so she saw no problem with them leaving without one another.

Just about, that didn't surprise Tim. he'd already opened his mouth, ready to insist that waiting really would be the smartest move and she should just chill out. She continued though, and Tim listened, realizing that she really, really didn't want to be called out. He sighed, glancing up at the screen. He still didn't really want to go.

"Well, I've seen it already," he said, pushing himself up. Bits of various snacks fell off him, and he brushed himself to knock loose a few more. "C'mon, let's blow this popsicle stand." He continued, jerking his thumb over his shoulder before turning that way. He already took a few steps, pausing only to look over his shoulder and make sure Erin was coming with him.

They were friends, after all, and Tim still wasn't a big fan of the whole suffering thing. He blamed Lux.

Erin could understand if Tim thought she was weird or weak at the moment, she felt like it and all the more reason to get out of there as soon as possible. She did have her music with her, perhaps she could put her headphones in to help herself calm down some more if Tim really wanted her to stick around. She didn't get why they had to, the movie was over, they had seen the little clip, and it was best to get out as soon as they could. To blend in with the crowd as Erin often did when she either didn't have to option to use her power or really wanted out of a situation.

Yes it would mean she would be panicking while dealing with all the people, but it just meant that she was at least in control over it. Control over the option of being surrounded by people, where she was going, and the thought of being free of all the people sooner. That was what was on her mind at the moment as Tim spoke. Her red hair covering her eye for a moment until she moved it behind her ear and looked up at Tim. Thank the powers that be. Erin thought to herself when Tim was ready to leave as well. Of course as soon as he said that, she was already up on her feet and ready to bolt.

Still, she at least felt like she should not leave Tim behind so held herself back from her skills of getting a through a crowd fast. Just hanging back just enough to be near enough to Tim but still moving with a purpose of getting out of the theater, and then making a beeline to open space. Where she of course would call for a ride to get her back to the school after making sure to drop by the family apartment real quick.
