[SB] This Isn't Happening

Alex could do little more than sit and stare at the two boys for a long moment. The abrupt way in which they went about certain things never ceased to stun her into silence. It didn't seem as if they had much of a filter when it came to their desires. In a way, Alex was a touch envious of them for that. They were able to just get it out there. Regardless of the topic or subject, they could present it and didn't seem to care one way or the other if anyone else agreed or not.

"Uhm." She said, coughing a little as she cleared her throat. Her eyes dropped to her hands, which were resting atop the table in front of her. "I'll keep that in mind." She said quietly. If the twins had been looking for a shy, embarrassed reaction out of Alex they were certainly getting their money's worth. She looked as though she wanted to shrink into herself even as she couldn't help but give thought to their words. She'd suspected an offer like the one outlined to her had been in play for a while and, as such, the idea wasn't alien. There had been a few moments of weakness where she'd entertained the idea. Thankfully she wasn't in either twin's presence during those fleeting times.

"You should know I don't things like that." She said with a certain sense of playfulness touching her voice. Just because she'd thought about it didn't mean she'd ever truly considered going through with it. "I'm a good girl." She insisted with a mock prissyness to her demeanor. She frowned though, lips pursing as she really couldn't continue that little charade for very long. She gave a light shrug and glanced to each of the boys in turn. "... Ish."

The brothers were very direct and open about pretty much everything. It was how they got reactions out of people and plus they didn't really know certain things that you really should not talk about in public. If they did, they would probably still use them, for the sake of getting a reaction out of someone for the fun of it. Plus, they had no shame. If they liked something, they would say as much, if they didn't well they would be done with it. The brothers were very much all about themselves and if something was too their liking or was not then they would do something about it.

Simple as that. One day Alex would get used to how they were, or not. They preferred if she did not, or else they would not get the delicious reactions out of her that they craved from to get from people. "Good." The brothers said at the same time when Alex said that she would keep it in mind. That was all they wanted her to do and if she ever wanted to, well she knew she had two people that would be up for it. Their slices of cake finally arrived as Alex was talking about how she didn't do that sort of thing because she was good girl. Adding that -ish, bit which had the brothers snickering for a moment.

"No way can you be too good if you hand out with us and like hanging out with us. You have to have a little naughty side to you that wants to sneak out but is trapped behind fears, and insecurities." Casper said, sounding very smart about it all. "Around us you can let that side out and you will bit by bit. It's only a matter of time. Especially if you keeping hanging around us on this trip in your swimsuit and dripping wet." Jasper spoke up.

If they had not all changed, well the brothers could not promise they would be as behaved as they were now. It would have been just too tempting. with that, the brothers were already digging into their chocolate cake, because yay food.

Alex couldn't help a bit of a sly smirk as she glanced between the two boys. The smirk was holding fast, although an astute onlooker would see just a faint hint of it wavering under the weight of the twins and their very, very up front ways. She was trying to play their game and doing an excellent job of it so far. The Emory's were simply better at it making it only a matter of time before they won. Whatever that would mean.

"My naughty side is of no concern of yours." She insisted, defiantly folding her arms across her chest. Yes, she understood the contradiction of her words and didn't think for a moment that would go unnoticed by either twin. Anyway, she was the female here. They were, in a way, going after her. Or, at least, they did an amazing job of seeming like they were. They'd made it clear the only thing stopping the situation from going very deep into much more... sordid territory was her own voiced reluctance. "But that's alright." She said with a simple shrug, putting on the sweetest, most adorable (and decidedly NOT sexy) look she could muster. "I'll just wear sweatpants and long sleeve shirts around you the rest of the trip."

The brother returned the sly smirk that Alex was giving them. They knew she was not that much of a good girl deep down. Or at least she had the ability to be naughty and was just still trying to not let the side win. It didn't matter too much to the siblings, she was free to be as naughty or as reserved as she wanted to be. However, if she was too reserved then they knew they would get bored with her and that there would be no point in dealing with her. Thankfully, she was not and she did seem to get the two of them for the most part.

She really was good with them and their littler game, certainly in their list of favorite people, which now brought the list up to two people. "Oh but it is, because we want to see it." Jasper spoke up when she said her naughty side was not of their concern. They wanted to see it, to experience this other side of her. It would have been so much fun and they bet the reactions out of her would have been amazing. Their chocolate cake was here now so the brothers were not hesitating to eat it, but were at least not going at it like animals. Meaning that they were using their silverware, but they ate it as if it was the last meal on the earth.

"Aww, that it just mean." Casper spoke up with Jasper nodding his head in agreement. Why would she deprive them of such a view? That was not nice at all. "You are going to get hot if you only wear that. Do you want us to dress up so you never get to see our bodies too?" Jasper asked, because that felt like a way to get back at her. She would hide her body from them so they could do the same back, even if that would be a bit hard. They did want to impress other after all and didn't really have a choice in their clothing since it was either school owned or what they brought from the circus.

For a moment Alex studied the boys as they dug into their slices of cake. She slowly contemplated her next move and, in a small way, found the way they had tore into their delicious treats endearing. The sly, utterly mischievous smirk on her face only deepened when she focused her large, expressive brown eyes upon Jasper. Slowly she leaned toward him, her hand moving to rest upon his upper thigh in an attempt to fully gain his attention. "Don't you know I'm from California?" She said, the words escaping in a hushed purr. The petite girl leaned in close, her lips lingering perilously close to the twin's. "I can handle the heat." Her delicate fingers ran lightly up along Jasper's leg to his waist where the hem of his loose fitting jersey sat. Her touched curled up beneath the garment and just barely grazed along the bare skin of his stomach.

"Anyway." She said, abruptly pulling away from Jasper and turning her attention to Capser. "Something tells me I probably wouldn't have any... trouble..." As she spoke she reached up to turn Casper's chin away from the slice of cake to get him to look at her. "... getting either of you undressed." Her slender fingers shifted to splay across his cheek as she, again, slid dangerously close. "Would I?" She held the husky whisper as she allowed her lips to brush against Casper's for just a moment.

With a sudden, smooth motion, almost as if performing a dance move, Alex pulled back and got to her feet. She slid off the chair and gave a short spin that took her a step or two away from the flanking twins in the process. "If you really want to see my naughty side it's going to take a lot more than cake." She offered cryptically, her eyes gleaming mischievously as she took a couple steps away from the table.

Jasper didn't notice that Alex was looking at him at first, there was yummy chocolate cake to be had at, and his focus would have remained on the cake had he not felt something touching his leg. That something ended up being Alex's hand. Alex's hand! Jasper actually looked surprised because while he knew that she had a side to her that was not a good girl, he didn't think that she was bold. Has their little toy Alex start to come out of her shell and really step up her game to be in the league with the Emory siblings? Jasper at first didn't get what she meant by being from California, but she explained it and it honestly didn't matter.

What mattered was that his jeans suddenly started to feel a bit uncomfortable to wear as Alex was most certainly teasing him. Jasper just ended up swallowing a large piece of his chocolate cake, holding the fork in his mouth as he just stared at Alex. He was in such a shock that he was not even sure what to say or do to the girl. His mind knew what he wanted to do, but his body was still trying to process all of the messages being sent through his body. It was around this time that Casper started to notice what Alex was up to and her attention was now on him.

Alex's soft fingers touching his face, making him look at her, and her being super close to his face. There was a question; one that Casper could not even open his mouth to answer because he was really surprised as well. He did stat to slowly nod his head, only to feel her lips against his own, and he leaned in to return it but she was quickly pulling away. Damn it. Now both the brothers were experiencing the need to loosen their jeans in one specific area. Both the siblings’ eyes were locked on Alex as she got up and moved away from them. They had a choice now; cake or the girl.

They actually did debate it, for like a second, and once that second was over the two of them were practically falling out of their chair to follow after Alex. "What more do you need? Us to be romantic and get some flowers?" Jasper asked as he yanked a flower off a table that they passed and handed it to her. "Or would you like a bit of magic?" Casper asked as he pulled out a cloth from his pocket, laid it over his hand, and removed it to reveal a flower a well. That flower was also snagged off a table when no one was paying attention to him, but shh; magic.

On the outside Alex was calm, sure and absolutely in control. With such little effort she'd gotten the twins to stumble over each other in their quest to chase her down as she headed for the lounge's exit. Internally, though, Alex's heart was racing and she could barely believe her own actions. The sly, subtle move at seduction was so unlike the petite brunette her head nearly swam with the rush that came from having attempted it, as well as the obvious success it had garnered. With a wry, almost playful smirk playing on her lips Alex looked over her shoulder to the pursuing boys.

"It's not as fun if I give you all the answers, now is it?" She said, offering a wink before she pushed forward. In truth, Alex had no idea what she was getting herself into. There was no fear of the twins, Alex, for better or worse, trusted them around her to a certain degree. She didn't feel in any way they would force her into anything she didn't want, though she doubted her capacity to hide anything she may secretly want in their presence. She needed to get away as quickly as possible in order to avoid paying the price for the Pandora's Box she had just opened. "I'll just leave you boys to think about it for a while. The magic trick, while impressive, wasn't exactly what Alex had in mind. Of course, that was more than likely because Alex had no damn clue what she was doing. All she could do in hopes of salvaging the situation was push open the door to the lounge that led out to the open deck and step outside.

The brothers had not yet caught on to Alex pushing herself past what she normally would do when she was dealing with them or well anyone. It would only be a matter of time since they already felt like she was up to something. It was hard to just fully believe that their shy little Alex was now all bold and daring and ready to play their game. That and it felt more like she was playing with them by telling them she just didn't sleep around with people and now was taunting them. They just hoped she didn't taunt them too much and then shoot them down, because that was a way to really get on the siblings bad side.

"Yes it is, less work for us and no confusion." Jasper pointed out. Games were fine and all but when it came to certain things there was no time for joking too much. That was how situations would get awkward and people would get the wrong idea. Just like the conversation they had earlier when the brothers explained how they were not really trying to force anyone to do anything, but they did get confused. They followed along after her, hanging back a little so they could walk side beside and have their little silent communication with one another, or outright talk to one another. She was not moved by their magic trick it seemed and that she was going to leave them to think about it for a while.

"As in you are leaving us or what?" Casper asked confused as he and his brother quickly moved to cut off Alex's path. They were fine if she did want to leave and were not going to stop her, but they wanted to be clear so they were not following her around for nothing. It was as Jasper said earlier; they didn't like games when it came to certain things because they would be confused and unsure. Kind of like right now.

Alex, unfortunately for her, wasn't nearly as adept at playing this little 'game' as her counterparts. He had hardly believed herself capable of the bold display she'd just unleashed upon the twins and was still only barely holding onto the power that it gave her over them. A seductress or flirt, Alex was not. She didn't know many guys who went for the tiny, awkward and kind of weird girls that liked to play games of the tabletop or video variety and preferred talking about why she felt fanboys were far too picky about things that don't matter as opposed to where she got her nails done.

"Um." She stammered just a bit as the boys caught up and rounded her. She peered up to them and was reminded of just how tall they were. Blinking a couple times, Alex looked between Casper and Jasper for just a faint, hesitant moment before turning a smile upward toward the two boys. "I'm not leavin gyou." She replied with a light chuckle. "My roommate and I are meeting up a little later and I need to get ready." That sounded a good enough excuse to her. Whatever happened, she just needed to get out of there and fast.

The brothers were quick to see through Alex's little game; they did know her after all. Probably not as well as they would have liked but they had a pretty good understanding of how their friend was. She was their little Alex toy that they loved to pick up, make blush, and offer their time in bed with her if she would ever want to. So far the latter had always been turned down and this time around they thought there was a shot. However; it quickly became clear that it was not actually possible and that Alex was more or less playing.

Perhaps she didn't mean for it to be this way but that was how the brothers were taking it and they could not help but to feel a little upset over it. After all, they didn't like to be pulled along as if they were the toys. So they blocked her off, wanting to get to the point so they were not going to end up wasting their time for nothing. If she was not going to have any action with them and was just going to tease them then they wanted to go do something or someone else.

"So you are leaving us." Jasper said as he crossed his arms over his chest. She said she was meeting up with her roommate, so obviously she was leaving them. "So are you wanting us to come watch you get ready or are you actually trying to go and do that by yourself?" Casper asked as he too crossed his arms over his chest. If she had to go, all she does was say that and they could be on their way. They didn't want to be strung along a played with, it was not fun when there was no reward at the end of it.

Alex may not have been the most well versed individual at the little, flirtatious game the twins liked to play, though she was a stubborn one. She peered up to them curiously. They're choice of words along with their indignant demeanor when she tried to make her way out of the lounge just seemed to rub her the wrong way. She didn't like being blocked in or having things demanded of her. She owed neither twin anything, nor did she feel the need to justify her actions in any way.

"Leaving you?" She repeated, her brow furrowing as she looked to each twin in turn. "That's a strong way of looking at it, don't you think?" Alex said, her tone flat as her arms folded across her chest. "I'm not 'leaving you', I made plans with someone else way before we met up." There was a certain defiance in her voice as she spoke now. Who the hell did they think they were? "Stop being so melodramatic." She sighed and moved to push forward, parting the twins, if they'd allow her, and stepping out into the open deck of the ship.

Alex should have been used to the siblings being demanding and being blocked off, if she was not used to it by now then she was never going to be. Blocking someone off was the best way the siblings knew how to keep someone somewhere so they had to talk and not to try and sneak off. They demanded because they didn't like to be jerked around and wanted to know what game was being played that they were not aware of. They didn't know what she was playing at now and they didn’t like not knowing because it could result in them getting hurt. It was a defense mechanism they had developed years ago during their time of being orphans.

She was asking what they said back, saying it was a strong way of putting it. What other way was there to put it? She was leaving them to go do something else, what other way was there to put it. It had the siblings giving her a very confused look right back as they waited for her to explain what she meant by that. The confusion didn't go away; instead it was just added with frustration and some more confusion as her next words. "So you are leaving us. You are leaving us to go meet up with someone and do something with them. That is leaving us." Jasper pointed out, still not getting it.

"Cause we are assuming we are not invited with said other person, so you are leaving us to go to them." Casper added, sounding confused as well. They didn't stop her this time as they just stayed where they were and watched her go out onto the main deck. If she was not going to make things clear then they were going to stay right there. "Why did she just do two one eighties on us?" Jasper asked his brother, really confused on why Alex had gone from her normal self, to being playful, and then a bit snippy at the end. Casper just shrugged his shoulders, just as lost as his brother.

"Boys." Alex stopped and turned to face the twins. She had to continue telling herself they hadn't been brought like most of the people she knew. They'd come from a drastically different background and dealt with things she couldn't fathom. A low sigh escaped as she peered up to them, the frustration and defiance gone. "Listen. As much as I know you'd like to tag along, because my roommate's totally hot, it's a girl's night, alright?" She offered a sweet smile as she patted Casper lightly on the chest with the palm of her hand. "Don't get upset. Think of this as... a sign that I can play this little game too." She said with a sly smirk playing on her lips.

Alex's head tilted as a thought came to her. "And here's another thing you can keep in mind." She said suddenly, keeping herself from pulling away just yet. "If not for you guys I'd probably still be stuck in the pool trying to find a way to get out with my dignity intact." She gave a soft chuckle before reaching up to pull Casper down to her as she raised onto her tip-toes to place a gentle kiss upon his cheek. "So, you two are my heroes." She pulled away from one twin and went to follow suit with the other. "Again."

Settling back down, Alex kept her eyes upward and focused on the twins. "I'm not going anywhere, okay? You guys are my friends and I hope some dumb little flirting on my end doesn't change that." She sent another smile beaming upward toward the boys again before she took a step back and issued a short, finger wiggling wave. "I'll see you around, boys. Don't get into too much trouble." And with that she turned on her heel, nearly ran into a teacher that was making their way toward the lounge, squeaked in surprise, almost stumbled over her own feet, regained her balance only to take a tumble after getting tangled in a large, exotic, plastic, decorative plant.

Hopping quickly up to her feet she looked around in hopes that no one saw. With pursed lips she stood like a deer caught in headlights before turning again and darting across the deck toward her cabin.

The siblings looked at her as she started to try and explain what was going on and how she basically needed the time to herself because it was a girl thing and something about the game. While the brothers would have loved to tag along because there was another girl involved, that was not the main reason why they were still following Alex. They wanted Alex, they wanted to hang out with, and spend more time with her. She made them feel good and they just liked being around her and Franck because of how they seemed to have patience with the two of them.

"We don't mind if you can't play the game...we like you as you are." Jasper pointed out, but it was muttered under his breath as his arms remained crossed over his chest. She pointed out a very important fact about without them she would still be stuck in the pool or had to deal with something embarrassing. She did have a point there and the siblings could not help but to smile a little at the fact that she called them heroes. So, this was the feeling that came from doing a good deed? It felt similar to doing a trick right and receiving praise from the ring master or hearing the crowd cheer. They liked it...at least a little.

Casper leaned down when she pulled him down, smiling even more at the kiss as the same happened to Jasper. They liked this Alex, the fact that she had given them a kiss made them want to give her a kiss again. Yet, she did seem to want to go hang out with her friend and...they needed to work on letting her be free. They didn't want to share what was there, but after the talk they got it...at least a little. "Yeah, were friends." The brothers said in unison as they were fully smiling now at their friend. Yes, she felt more than a toy, she felt like a friend.

"Bye Alex." Casper said. "See you around." Jasper added right after his brother as the two waved by and watched her leave. Enjoying the viewed for several reasons before looking at each other. "Do you think she was telling the truth? When she said we were her friends?" Jasper asked his brother, his voice in a slightly worried tone. "I...I think so." Casper sad, not fully sure but he wanted to believe that Alex was different. With that the siblings headed off to of course finish or order new cake if it was taken away.
