Character Retirement Changes

Dear Members,

After discussing it as staff, we have come to the conclusion that to avoid the extra work of unretiring characters of people who for whatever reason, come back, unretire an entire bunch of characters, and then just vanish again, we have decided to change the way unretirement works here at Bellefonte.

Before, all you had to do was PM a staffer and have them unretire and move your retired characters, but now you have to use the PROFILE UPDATE FORM and post it as a reply to your profile BEFORE having your characters unretired. We will then look it over and make the additional changes.

The new rule:

ACTIVITY
We here at BA want to make sure that all positions and claims are available for people. So every month, the staff does a sweep of characters. If you have not posted IC during the past month (Games do not count), then your character is retired. We do not delete characters or accounts here. However, to have your character unretired, you need to use the PROFILE UPDATE FORM and post (and fill it out) it as a reply to the app you would like unretired. We will then look it over before unretiring your character.

If you're going to leave for a while, and would like to keep your characters active, leave us an absence note in the general discussion board.
