Leave people free for a challenge? Elsa wasn't sure she actually wanted that. It sounded too much like she was purposefully setting them up for something bad. And why invent enemies when there were so many that wanted their blood? SPECTRE, SIGUARD, Kaur's mutants, the Inherited, there were too many groups about, too much to be suspicious of as it was.
"You find a snake, you kill it. You don't let it go to bite you later," she mumbled. Her hands kept moving, trusting Roxana to keep guard. Most people weren't likely to take notice of them while they were there. Elsa paused though, turning slightly to see if Roxana was sticking outside. When she confirmed that to be true, she went back to adjust footage, finding what she was looking for:
Roxana and Priya at the reception.
Elsa licked her lips, and then let her fingers fly. That footage could be lost: they didn't need that for any reason. Elsa hurried to do so, though she swore she could hear footsteps in the hallway.

Roxana had meant what she said, again it was likely because of the way she was brought up and how her thoughts sometimes aligned with how SIGUARD thought. A person needed enemies, they provided a challenge for you, something for you to overcome, and become stronger. That or you would fail, be weak, and get nowhere in life. That was not to say that Roxana wanted bad things to keep happening to the school or people that she could say that she cared for. At the same time, it was beneficial one some level, but Roxana was not going to talk about that.
She had already moved off to make sure that it was still just the two of them in the room as Elsa mumbled about snakes or something. She could not expect Elsa to see eye to eye with her on everything, there was actually not a whole bunch the two would probably agree upon if they stayed down and just had one of those 'deep talks'. That was just a guess, since Roxana was completely aware that there was probably a lot still that she didn't know about Elsa...or more so understand about the other girl. Rox didn't know what Elsa was up to, but she did know that someone who was likely just doing their rounds was getting pretty close.
She could tell by the sound of footsteps and the fact that she had already started to form a crystal danger in her hand. No, she could not kill this person, or harm them when they were not an actual threat. Rox considered grabbing a hold of them and making them pass out, but she figured she would go with the sneaking out route first. That involved her going back over to Elsa, practically doing so without making a single sound. "Someone is coming. We should leave now, unless you want me to have them take a nap." Roxana said, her words coming out as a whisper but she had moved right next to Elsa so the girl would likely hear her. Her blue eyes did glance to see what Elsa was up to, but it was not that high up on her level of concerns.

Elsa had all but finished when Roxana entered the room. She let her hands fly, finishing up the last few bits, loading things up. Then she nodded, agreeing with Roxana's assessment. Rising to her feet, Elsa turned to look at her friend. "You do realize that I am still a Bellefonte, even if you all want me to stop identifying myself by my family first. I could just wave a hand and suggest they forget it."
This didn't stop Elsa from moving toward the door, peering around. This was part of why she'd brought Roxana along though. No point in not using her skills. "I would rather avoid answering questions or anyone knowing we were here," if only so that they couldn't be traced to that last bit that Elsa had done. She turned back to Roxana. "So I believe this is where you take point."
Elsa turned and gestured. "Lead us out of here, Ms. Strix."

"I am well aware of the power your name still holds." Roxana replied back simply. She knew Elsa could just say a few things and then they would not have to worry about anything. How long would that hold up? Would Elsa even use that power all the time? Even if she used the power, who was to say that everyone she used it on was loyal? Such questions floated around Roxana's mind for a moment as she was already moving to head for the exit. Rox just figured that due to what Elsa had said earlier, she would have wanted to avoid getting caught.
That was confirmed when Elsa brought up that she did want to avoid answering any question on what they had been doing. Nothing like what Rox and done with Priya; which was a thought that did cross Roxana's mind for a split second before she quickly refocused. She didn't like that her mind had wondered off like that into that particular thought process. It just made her feel like she really did need to seek out assistance in correcting whatever seemed to be wrong with her.
"Understood." Roxana said when Elsa told her to lead them out. She had already changed the small crystal dagger that she made into a small ball. Her eyes quickly scanned around, ears listening for the sound of footsteps before she made her move. Roxana tossed the small ball off in another direction, causing it to hit something, and make a sound. The desired outcome occurred then, with the person that had been walking a bit too close to their exit was quickly moving off in the opposite direction to find what had made the sound.
"Now." Roxana whispered to Elsa and as soon as the words left her lips she was already moving ahead, leaving the room and heading for the stairs. She would only stop to make sure Elsa was right behind her before she headed up the steps. Either way, she had brought them enough time to get out without having to deal with getting caught.

Still slightly strange, seeing Roxana in action, and not in the way that Elsa had, well, "seen" before. She pushed that out of her mind, instead focusing on the moment, on watching Roxana form the crystals, getting ready. The ball rolled off, and Elsa almost let out a laugh. She settled for a quiet smile, then a nod as Roxana gave the instruction.
Elsa left hot on her heels, leaving the lead to Roxana. She remained quiet and fairly swift, even her footsteps somewhat light. Turned out that the dancing practice had still left Elsa a little light on her feet. She couldn't help but smile at that, even as she entered the steps.
"Well, that was certainly entertaining," she drawled, looking over to Roxana with raised brows.

Roxana was pleased that Elsa had done well keeping up, but she didn't expect any less so there was no real surprise. She figured Elsa would not speak up about not wanting to get caught and then remain behind to get caught. It would have been foolish. They were pretty much safe from here on out, at least Roxana assumed based upon what she knew of the routes that the various staff security patrolled, but this was an area she never bothered to account for so anything was possibly. Not likely, but it was not impossible.
"Sarcasm?" Roxana asked as she glanced over her shoulder when Elsa spoke up about that having been entertaining. She hoped Elsa was not impressed by such a simple display that even a small child could do. It was a simple distraction tactic that often worked for a few reasons, and the main one being that typically you found a person or something when you followed the source of a sound. Another small bit was that people were curious so that also helped with a tactic that would likely be used for years to come. "There are things that I could do that would be far more impressive." Roxana pointed out.
She was sure that Elsa knew at least a little bit of what she was capable of but Elsa had not really seen most of it. Elsa was not at the school when SPECTRE attacked so she didn't get to see Rox first hand defending the school. Then with the fire Rox had not been around Elsa when she was handling the matter and she had only done that for a little bit before she went off to handle what she was actually supposed to be doing.

Elsa chuckled slightly, shaking her head. "only a little," she confessed. "After all, I do know you're impressive. Though it all seems a little more dramatic."
Because yes, Elsa hadn't been present when Roxana had shown off her skills during the recent events. However, she had heard from others, had read minds, had seen the videos, had known full well who she was dealing with. It did seem strange that Roxana was her bodyguard yet Elsa hadn't quite seen the other girl in full "action" yet. Something else for her to consider.
"Well, we found out what we went looking for," Elsa said speculatively, nodding. "We know what caused Kaur to leave, and we have more information," Elsa considered, wondering if there was anything else she needed to catch Roxana up on. They kept moving; they had to if they were going to progress at all. now though, now Elsa was reconsidering what to do with the McLisk papers. Too much was there, particularly regarding the school. Maybe she could parcel it out, give it to just a few people...

Roxana didn’t understand how Elsa had found that entertaining on any level when it was something so simple. She could have even given the small crystal ball to the girl and told her where to throw it and the objective would have been accomplished. Rox did suppose that perhaps it was because she had kept her usual no expression look that it made the matter seem more serious only to throw a tiny ball to be a distraction. Perhaps that was where the comical value of the whole event was at, but that was just a guess and she didn’t really know how to ask for Elsa to make it any clearer.
They kept moving, making their way up the steps and back the way they came from before Roxana started to slow down. She didn’t know if Elsa had any further need of her and if Elsa did she did not know where the girl wanted them to go next. “If you want more information on Kaur, I can call in a favor and provide you with the information.” Roxana pointed out still walking in the general direction of her room. She figured that if Elsa didn’t need her she would go back there and get back to what she was originally doing. If she was needed, she of course would go along with Elsa as she was pretty much used to doing.
“Was there anything else you wanted me to accompany you on?” Roxana asked as she looked over to Elsa. One of her hands went up into her own hair, playing with it a little bit as a thought slid across her mind for a moment. She didn’t say anything on it of course, just waited for Elsa to say what was next.

Hmm, the offer for further information was tempting. Though it did involve "calling in a favor," and Elsa couldn't help but feel that likely involved SIGUARD in more manners than she wanted. No, no she couldn't quite draw upon that organization, not for this. They'd have to figure things out on their own or not at all.
"No, I think we have enough for now," she said relatively cryptically, waving a hand as if it weren't anything she was concerned with. It certainly still lingered: she couldn't help but feel like there was something there that was just waiting again. That paranoia.
For now though: "Nothing immedaitely comes to mind, no," Elsa said. She shook her head, looking up to Roxana. "Is there anything you'd like me to accompany you on?" she couldn't help but smirk slightly at that. Yes, she did thoroughly enjoy flipping Roxana's question on her, if only because she could practically predict Roxana's befuddled and slightly perturbed reaction.

Elsa really had nothing to worry about when it came to the favor, since it would have been Roxana asking for it and using someone that owed her a favor. She had worked for SIGUARD for a while now, and had built up something of a small reputation and had some people that owed her. Not a lot, but enough that she could get some things done without having to worry about doing all of the work herself. Again, she was not the best when it came to information collecting unless it involved infiltrating a place, and picking up said information from a stack of papers or off of a computer.
Even Roxana needed outside help when it came to certain things. Elsa said no, and Roxana left it at that; personally not all that worried about the manner. She had mixed feeling about Kaur so was choosing to not dive too far into anything involving that woman unless she needed to. They were already in the clear, with no need to worry about treading lightly where they walked. Roxana actually came to a stop then so she could face Elsa when the girl spoke up about how nothing came to mind. They were done then and Roxana was already turning to head off to her room.
She paused however at Elsa's question, looking over her shoulder to give Elsa a slightly confused look for a second. Was there anything she would like Elsa to accompany her with? She didn't really have people accompany her on really anything, especially if it involved her work for SIGUARD. She assumed that Elsa was teasing based on the smirk on her face, but was not one hundred percent sure. "Not that I think you would enjoy or be alright with doing." Roxana responded and then turned back around to head off. "Until next time, Elsa." Roxana said, giving a slight wave as she headed in the direction of her own room.

There was definitely some hesitation there. Elsa could read it almost as surely as she could read Roxana's mind. Something was going on with her friend, and Elsa couldn't help but wonder at what it was. Perhaps she'd ask at some point in the future, or perhaps she'd find someone to discuss it with.
Right now though, Elsa had quite a lot on her plate without having to add Roxana to it. She simply made a mental note, nodded at Roxana's comment, and offered a wave of her own. As Roxana turned, so did Elsa, though she had a few other places to be before she could go rest. There were still files to read, and still data to consider.
Things had only started going into motion, and Elsa wholly intended to be ready to at least nudge them along, if not follow acutely.
