Looking For Jasper

[Casper & Jasper Emory]

He only ever used his power for bigger stunts, but for the simple card magic, he didn't need his powers. After all, he learned his magic before he came into his powers which were still not that long ago. He and his brother did only come into their powers a few months ago but their skills with magic and entertaining people had been trained and worked on for years. He was grinning practically from ear to ear at her reaction. He lived for the reaction to his magic and tricks. He had not used a single part of his power, not his actual physical prime power. He just used the power every magician knew and used.

He smiled at Zoe's look of confusion but he didn't wait too long before providing her with an answer of where her card was. The trick itself was not all that complicated and he could have made the card 'appear' folded up anywhere on her person. The cup of yogurt was just perfect because he was able to tell that in a way she practically forgot about it. The had been the perfect object to add into his trick and it had all been done while she was distracted with what else he was doing and where he had her looking. He loved magic, so much. More than anime and manga, but not more than his brother...even if it seemed like it at the moment.

"It is indeed your card and I'm happy you liked the trick." Casper said, proudly. Zoe could look over the card as much as she liked, other than the card being folded up a little bit, there was nothing too odd about the card. "Positive. As I explained before, my power does not really help out with these sorts of tricks. I do use my power for other tricks that I can show you some other time." Casper pointed out as he reached out to take the card back. He pulled out the deck from his pocket, shuffled the card back into the mix and then put it away.

He stood there then, not saying anything and waiting to see if she remembered what he promised her or not. If she didn't then they could go back to doing whatever it was they wanted to do. If she did, well they would go back to finding his brother.

He just seemed so proud at the trick that Zoe had to giggle. She swallowed it down as he continued, insisting that he didn't use his power and that the trick was purely based on his skill. "Well, you're quite skilled then, and I, for one, would love to see some more tricks," offered Zoe, along with a nod. Though she wasn't long before smiling and raising a finger. "After we find your brother. Now," Zoe turned, looking back to the building, "you're certain he's not in here? We could at least go in and ask. Maybe someone's seen him?"

Despite taking at least some control of the conversation, Zoe still paused here, paused and looked expectantly at Casper, waiting to see if he was alright with the plan. She did want him to find his brother and not get distracted by something, after all. He actually reminded her a bit of what she always imagined having a younger brother must feel like: all rambunctious and easily distracted. Still, she waited nervously, counting on him to take the lead again.

Casper didn't mind the giggle, it meant that he was amusing her and that was the job of an entertainer. To leave a person in shock, awe, amused, and wanting more. Zoe was on the side of wanting more but sadly she pointed out that they had to get to find his brother. Why was she so set on finding his brother when he didn't care anymore? He didn't understand it but he made a deal with her so was going to stick to it. For the moment anyways, unless they did not find his brother soon. He could feel that he was close by but could not fully pinpoint where his brother was since that was not completely in his ability.

He was more so going off of how he could feel the tingling sensation that came along with his power from time to time. "I am seventy-five percent certain he is not in there. By all means you can go in there and ask for Jasper if you like, but you would be wasting your time. If he was in there we would have already seen him or you would know he was in there by the look on people’s faces. Jasper is not very...tamed in the things he does." Casper explained, knowing his brother. If she really wanted to check, he was fine with it. Perhaps he might not have been in the gym, but connected to the gym? He didn't know, he had lost interest.

"Think you are right that it would be smart to go in and check, but don't hold your breath." Casper said as he moved to grab a hold of the door and open it followed behind her. He would hold it open and follow in after, leaving it to her to ask if anyone had seen his brother. She was so shy and he thought it would be good for her people skills. That and Casper was not really the chatty sibling when he was without his brother, it had already been a slight challenge to ask Zoe for help in the first place. A few people did see Jasper in the gym but would likely reveal that he had gone off into the locker rooms or something.

Well, now it seemed like Casper was just outright pouting. "Quit moping," Zoe insisted, probably not seeing the irony there. She gave him a sort of parental look. And if he was only seventy-five percent certain, that did give them a one in four shot of being right. Zoe still figured that they could at least ask around. It wouldn't take that long, after all.

"Well," she said as they entered, looking back at Casper, now not being nearly as certain as she had just a few moments ago, "if he's not here, then where else would he be?" though she asked, Zoe was still looking around, trying to see if she noticed anyone who looked exactly like the boy she'd been with for the last few minutes. Nobody seemed to immediately, though Zoe thought she saw one or two actually looking at Casper. There could be lots of reasons for that though.

For all Zoe knew, he was still doing magic. She looked back at him, half to make sure he behaved, and half to see if he could give them a better place to look.

"Did you tell me to quit moping? Wow, I didn't think you could be brave." Casper pointed out to Zoe as he started to smirk. Here he thought all she was capable of was stuttering and blushing but apparently she could have a backbone. It was still cute because she was shorter then him and he knew just how easy it would be to pick her up and carry her. So long as he didn't like touch-touch her, he figured he would be fine. Perhaps he could still suggest to his brother that they kidnap the girl sometime and test if she did in fact like girls and if so if she was willing to have a four-way. They never tried that before.

This is why I can't be apart from my brother for long. Casper thought to himself as he noticed his train of thought was not being as mature as he normally held up the image of. Sometimes he let his flirty and teenage boy side show...okay he showed it here and there, but it was manly his brother who did it. Without his other half here, he just felt like he had to play both roles in order to feel whole. Of that made sense. "A bathroom. He talks about peeing a lot so that would be my only other guess." Casper pointed out, since that was all he could think of.

They both really didn't stay that far from one another too long, that was why Casper was not that worried about finding his sibling. Casper approached one of the people who had been looking at him, asking if they had seen his brother. He got a mixed/nervous response which just had him walking away before the person could give him a full answer. "People are stupid." Casper muttered and then looked off towards the locked rooms. He felt like he could sense his brother over near them, but he was not sure.

"Hey, can you check the girl’s locker room?" Casper asked as he walked back over to Zoe. She was a girl after all so she could go in there without causing a stir, even if she liked girls.

Zoe flushed at Casper's comment, flushed and averted her eyes. Yes, that was about all the backbone that Zoe possessed, which Casper would no doubt find soon enough. At least they had something to focus on, to do, so to distract her from the possible paths of that particular conversation. They'd moved around, asked, and Zoe considered the bathroom.

"Well, ah, you should look there," suggested Zoe, her face again coloring. She gestured toward the room in question, hoping that Casper would get the hint. Though she did wonder, belatedly, if Casper might be attempting to suggest the bathroom as a means of getting rid of Zoe. He had to know that she certainly wouldn't follow him in there.

That suspicion only rose with the next question. Zoe looked to Casper as he finished, her brow furrowing with confusion. "The... girl's locker room?" she repeated. She turned to look to it for a moment, her confusion only deepening. "But... he's a boy, isn't he? You said he was identical?" she looked back at Casper, her feet shifting and her face scrunching. "Why would... why would he be in there?" And wouldn't they hear or otherwise be able to tell if a boy had gone in there? Surely someone would draw attention to it.

Zoe was back to flushing, which had him chuckling slightly and shaking his head. Yeah, he was most certainly not into the shy types. They were cute but in the long run if they didn't get a backbone they grew boring. Who wanted to play with a toy that its only features were blushing and stuttering? Not the Emory Twins, that was for sure. Yet for now she was entertaining on some level, cute on another, and wrapped up in a bow of being tiny. She just looked like she could so easily be broken and while he preferred a bit more meat; it would have been interesting to see how high he could toss her up into the air.

"That was the plan. Think you can make it if we split up?" Casper asked, teasing a little. He didn't want to get rid of her, not yet anyways, and it was more so the fact that they could get this whole searching for her brother over quicker if they split up. He would go into the guy’s locker room and she would go into the girl's locker room. If his brother was not there then he was going to call it quite, thank her for her help, and then head back to him room for a snack. No, he would pick up a snack first because he was feeling particularly hungry.

"Yes, the girl's locker room and yes he is a boy." Casper answered her question, not seeing the point of them at the moment. Was there a problem with him being a boy or was she just checking to make sure that identical meant that they both were the same gender and looked the same. "Why would he not be in there? It's where girls go to change. Perfect place to hide while getting a free show." Casper pointed out, chuckling a little. Just how innocent was this girl? He waited for a moment before he started to head to the guys locker room, figuring she get the hint to go check out the girl's locker room then.

Zoe actually pursed her lips slightly at the assumption, but offered a curt nod. Yes, she could certainly "make it" if they split up. "I'm perfectly capable of going into a locker room," she pointed out, gesturing at it. Though that didn't mean that she didn't want to understand why Casper wanted her to go looking in one in the first place.

Within a few moments of actually knowing the answer, Zoe wished she hadn't asked. Somehow, the thought of peeping and whatnot didn't even enter her mind. She sometimes got strange looks herself, since quite nearly everyone knew that she preferred females, but that was different. This felt decidedly more scandalous, almost as if Zoe had been purposefully sneaking peeks at the girls.

"I'll go look," she finally managed, though she'd flushed a rather dark color first. With another curt nod, she hurried off in that direction, counting on Casper to yet again fulfill his end of the bargain. Soon enough she'd be inside the girls' locker room, looking around and trying to determine if there was a good place for a guy to hide.

Casper just smiled at her, knowing very well she understood what he had been getting at. He was just teasing her of course, but part of him wanted to be sure. She was shy so he figured she was fine doing things on her own, but he didn't want to just walk away and leave her confused or something. "Perfect. Don't get distracted by any pretty ladies that might be in there." Casper said after Zoe pointed out that she would be fine. He was pointing out something else there, since she said that she liked girls.

He didn't mind if she got distracted on her trip in there and in a way he always envied the lesbians because they could go change with the girls and no one could really do too much about it. Sure they could ask for them to have to change somewhere else or like hide in the stalls from them, but other than that they were stuck. "I'm counting on you." Casper said after Zoe said she would go look. He was laughing a little at the fact that she had gotten red once she found out what she was getting at. He of course went into the guy’s locker room and looked around for his brother, not having an issue with distraction from any changing guys.

Jasper meanwhile was in fact in the girl’s locker room. Hiding in one of the bathroom stall up on a toilet seat. It was the perfect place to hide and get a view on what was going on. Sure he had almost dropped his phone few times and slipped another time, but for the most part he had managed to hide away and get a couple of nice shots. Even now he was snapping a photo of a girl who was just getting done getting dressed. He heard the door to the locker room open and was already peeking through the crack to see who the new girl was.

Zoe looked away for a moment as Casper teased her about being distracted by pretty ladies. She was tempted to point out that she had a girlfriend, but she suspected that wouldn't be reason enough for Casper. Something told her that he really wasn't the type to settle down and have something like a relationship. She was even more tempted to point out that he probably had some kind of dirty mind and figured that just because she was a lesbian she'd go around ogling all the girls.

Zoe just nodded, accepting her mission and moving into the locker room. It felt almost natural, and most of the girls there didn't give her more than a second look. By now, most of the people that realized that Zoe happened to prefer girls also happened to know that she was the kind to cling to her girlfriend, and DL hadn't exactly been quiet about that (since DL did seem to love Zoe's love life).

None of the girls seemed to have noticed a man in there, or, at least, none of the ones that Zoe could work up the courage to ask, which were those that were mostly dressed. Zoe frowned, heading a little deeper, wondering if the boy would be hiding... well, she supposed that would make sense. So the real question was: where?

Casper in the boy's locker room was already checking the stalls, lockers, and the showers for places where his brother was likely to hide. It didn't take him long at all to figure out that his brother was likely in the girl's locker room since he could feel him close by. The elder and calmer of the twins left the boy's locker room and took up a post just outside the girl's locker room. If Zoe took too long finding his brother then he would go in and help her out.

He was not worried about any girls yelling or freaking out with him. Not when it would be revealed that he had a twin hiding in there all along. Jasper of course had no plans of giving up his hiding spot that had worked out so well for him. "Oh, she is cute." Jasper whispered and then moved to hide behind the door a little better. A few times he had almost been discovered because he could not help but to whisper about what he was seeing. Could you fault a boy for being excited at seeing young, hot, and half-dressed girls?

After a moment of hiding behind the door he move again to position his phone to get a photo of the girl that had just walked in. She looked to be on the frail side but there was something about breaking those types that was fun too. Either way he was snapping a photo of her, covering up the click sound by using his foot to flush the toilet. He found how to turn off the flash, but the click sound seemed like it had no way of being tuned off.

That was odd... Zoe thought she'd heard a camera snap. Her ears had long since grown used to hearing that particular sound, to the point where she could definitely pick it out of a fairly noise room and all. But who would be taking pictures and---was that a flushing toilet? Oh... he... he must actually be in here and.. taking pictures? Even thinking about it made Zoe flush.

She hurried to the stalls, pausing to listen close. It made sense for the photographer to be in the stalls, since they'd flushed at just the right time and all. But, well, it was possible that it was totally a coincidence or something. Should she call out to someone? Wouldn't that make them stop though?

And Zoe couldn't peak under the stalls, not with everyone knowing she was a lesbian: she definitely didn't need to give DL more ammunition.

So... so she just needed to wait quietly? Zoe could manage that: she could, in fact, be as quiet as a mouse if need be. She even seemed to stop breathing, as if convincing her body that any and all noise would just be a poor idea in general.

Jasper was busy looking at the new photo he had taken of the girl that had walked into the girl's locker room. He was also trying to be careful to not drop his phone into the toilet since he had almost done that a few times while in here. It was a challenge to stay hidden, silent, take photos, and flush the toilet. He didn't even notice anyone getting closer to the stall as he debated over the looks of the girl.

She was cute, somehow she worked the short haircut but something about her screamed gay. Jasper had always had a better 'gay-dare' then his brother did since of the two he was a lot more open about sleeping around and well liking both guys and girls. One could only imagine his surprised when he went to peek out through the corner of the stall and caught a glimpse of a person's body outside the stall door. "Holy sh-!" Jasper yelled out as he quickly moved to get away from the stall door. The result being that he lost his balance and end up falling half on the ground and on the toilet.

The toilet flushing once more as his phone hit the floor and slid out under the stall. It would likely hitting Zoe's foot with still having the photo of her on the main screen. "Ow...well not much, but still ow." Jasper muttered out to himself as he moved to sit up, not happy that some of the toilet water had splashed up on his face. He was thankful for his ability that made him a little bit better at taking pain. Yet his brother was not around so his power should not have been working...but it was a little bit. Was his brother close by? More importantly, who was the creep that had been so close to the stall door?

Zoe jumped at the yell, taking a step backward. She'd been expecting it a good deal better than Jasper, but that didn't mean that she'd really been ready for it. She felt her heart hammering as she froze in place. That did make her an excellent wall for a sliding phone.

It still took a few moments before Zoe swallowed and lowered herself. She grabbed the phone, picking it up and looking at it. Yes, there was a picture of her. Well, if there was one thing Zoe knew how to work, it was pictures on a camera. She quickly deleted her picture, then began systematically working her way through the others. As she did, she took a step back, putting her back to the walls and keeping her attention split between the phone and the stall.

Though she had enough practice that she barely needed to look at the phone. Though Zoe did usually take a lot more time before just deciding to delete pictures. There was just no way she was going to let this many images remain on Jasper's phone, not unless the girls had given permission.

That last made Zoe pause, pause and turn. She probably should go and ask them, shouldn't she?

It took a moment for Jasper to recover from his whole event, but when he did he was already moving to get up. He had not missed the fact that his phone had fallen and slid out from under the stall. He didn't want someone getting a hold of his phone and having all those phones he had spent a good while collecting. He moved to stand up and push open the stall door, not caring that now his hiding place would be given up. Someone how already clearly discovered it so there was no sense in remaining there hoping that they would just walk away and not remember any of it happening.

"You, hand it over." Jasper demanded of the girl who was holding his phone. What unfortunate luck that the girl that he had recently took the photo of was the one that was now holding his phone. He had a feeling that she had likely deleted the photo of her but she had better not delete all his hard earned photos. By now a few girls that were in the bathroom were either quickly leaving or still sticking around for whatever reason. Jasper lost interest in them since the most important thing was what was on his phone. Casper of course now walked in after hearing the commotion and figuring that his brother had been found.

"Nice job, Zoe. What’s that in your hand?" Casper said as he walked over to stand next to Zoe. He leaned over to see what she was holding before giving his brother an approving nod. He had taken some nice photos and Casper wished a little that he was like his brother in that regards. To be able to sneak into the girls locker room and take photos of them without any worry or care.
