[Roxana Strix]

There would be no way that Roxana would ever tell Elsa about the organization she worked for. Elsa would have to dig deep to find that kind of thing out and since Roxana would be able to feel if Elsa dug that deep she would make sure to tackle the girl or do whatever to stop her from getting to far in her head. The only thing she would even allow herself to think about was what she would write up on her reports and that she did work for an organization. That was all, other than that she kept her mind on other things. Things that related to Elsa question and on what she was informing Elsa about. She was certain that Elsa had thought up a few of the things that she said already, but Elsa had asked for a second opinion and that was what she was going to get from Roxana. Cameras and escape routes were basic and easy to do and practice for all of the students. It would be just like any other drill that was started for schools to do, this one was just in case something really dangerous happened and they needed all the mutants in one safe location.

Help from the locals would be a big improvement for the school, since the town was right there and had certain locations where the student could hide out and be safe. Plus in terms of using them, again it was one thing to shoot a mutant kid it was another thing to shoot a normal kid. Using the locals in such a way to save their own skins by being in the same location would prevent loss of life. They would not have to worry about a bomb being dropped on the town they would be hiding in compared to on their school. There was another question then, asking if they should not get to defensive or not. Roxana could easily tell that Elsa was being serious about the question so she thought seriously on it to give what she would think was the best answer to such a question. Waiting until Elsa was done mentioning about towers, bunkers, and how they could not have a repeat of something like this again. Roxana eyes going down to Elsa's tapping for a moment before looking up.

"No, I don't think that would be wise." Roxana said and figured she was going to have to say a little bit more of what she knew about SPECTRE, not sure if Elsa already knew about this or not. "Some believed already that this school was really some location to train mutants to be weapons. Building towers and bunkers would just add to that fact. Plus the students here already have enough teenage drama to deal with and hormones, seeing towers and bunkers around could make some feel safe while others would feel trapped." Roxana pointed out, still sort of leaving things as vague as she could to not let on that she knew much more than that. "Bumping up security would be fine and maybe one or a few hidden bunkers underground but no towers. Still want to keep the image that this is just a school after all." Roxana added, figuring that was a good enough response and looked to Elsa to see what the other girl thought; figuratively speaking that is.

Elsa nodded, relieved that much of what Roxana offered was more or less what she'd been thinking. Oh, she picked up the earlier bit, where Roxana all but challenged her to dig into the information regarding the organization. They both had to know that Elsa could come up with that information if she really wanted to. She had money, a powerful name, and a sharp mind, all of which were a deadly combination for actually coming up with information that she wanted when she wanted and needed it. For now though, she was more happy that Roxana's thoughts were in line with the defenses. The school was more important than any one individual, even Roxana. Even Elsa.

"We have the money to build such things, by the way," said Elsa, her tone casual. She flicked her fingers dismissively, looking out, remembering the tire treads and seeing the vehicles. And she'd arrived after the fact. No wonder so many people walked carefully around her: she certainly brought chaos with her wherever she went.

"I believe we've actually got a bunker, though I might suggest we devise another. There's several plans in order, and the more we can get, the better," Elsa paused for a moment, still looking out into the distance. "I can still offer you a position, mind. Hire you from your family or what have you. I'm sure you'll turn me down, but I'm rather determined to make certain you know that the offer is a standing one."

She turned to Roxana as she finished. Elsa raised her brows, a look of challenging expectation upon her face.

Yes, Elsa was very capable of finding things out about Roxana if she really wanted to; but for Elsa and Roxana's sake, Roxana hoped that Elsa would not push to find out such things. They were friends now but would Elsa still want to deal with Roxana if she knew the kind of things she had done? Would anyone really? Roxana didn't think about it because that was in the past, it had been done, and she could not change it. Living life with no regrets or else she would be consumed by it and would not be able to do her job. Plus there were important things to deal with in this situation. Protecting the current and living students and staff at the school that Elsa and her twin were going to be taking care of. Roxana gave a half chuckle at Elsa pointing out that they had the money to build such things. AS if Roxana didn't already know that. She didn't say anything and instead just gave Elsa a look.

Roxana may not have been a Bellefonte but she was a Strix and had more than enough connections and plug in that allowed her to pretty much know all that she needed to know about the school, the staff, the students, and for sure her targets. She knew of the school coming into even some more money after their books had been worked out and she was sure that Elsa would be using that money soon enough. It was not about the money, it was still about the image that the public and the students would see that was really important. Roxana had said her piece on it and it was Elsa call and choice what she was going to take from what Rox had said and how she was going to use it. Roxana did make down a mental note about this possible bunker and would look into it further and locate it. Access its condition and if it would actually be useful or not. "I trust you will make the right calls." Roxana said with a small nod that was followed by an eyebrow raise at Elsa's next words.

They had been over this before. It was not like Roxana didn't want to take the job; well she felt conflicted about what it would be like to work for Elsa, but the fact still remained that she could not. It was not her choice. "I thank you for the offer, but again it’s not something that I have a say in. If you are so determined for me to work for your family, I suppose I could file that in my reports and find out what my employers thinks." Roxana responded as she played with her soft hair for a moment while she thought of what it would be like to work for Elsa and what kind of jobs would Elsa even have her doing. Plus why did she want Roxana to work for her? Rox was only 18 and while she was very well trained and talented, certainly Elsa could get her hands on someone older if she really wanted to.

"I can still do small jobs for you if you like. Body guarding and possibly gathering information for you, but as always it will cost you." Roxana pointed out since she could still do the little thing like that for Elsa, even if she was already a body guard of the girl.

Elsa smiled slightly as Roxana spoke of trust. That slightly surprised her that someone, anyone who wasn't related to her, would admit to trusting Elsa to make decisions. Then again, if it was one thing that Elsa had proved remarkably adept at, it was making heavy decisions. Plus, she had the good sense to listen to others, including her own sister, who was right along for the ride with her.

The mind-reading Bellefonte rolled her eyes as Roxana mentally retread old ground. Yes, Elsa knew all that; she didn't need to read it again. The report thing was worth remembering though, and Elsa nodded as Roxana made a suggestion. She looked over, slightly surprised to see Roxana... playing with her hair? Elsa opted not to comment on that; things were awkward enough already, thank you.

There was a mental question more interesting to address, certainly more interesting than what Roxana said. "I'm likely going to have to get a bodyguard, someone that can blend more easily with the crowd. It does me no good if I've some burly man in a suit standing behind me, though I'm certain Mr. Konrad would gladly volunteer if we asked it of him. What I need is someone who could be seen at my side that people may not initially suspect. Even if you do practically scream para-military or assassin, you're still the best choice. Besides, I'd rather have someone watching my back that I trust not to stick a knife into it, and you're on the short list."

Elsa paused for a moment, then clicked her tongue and nodded. "I'll pass some suggestions along," she said, turning, ready to head back. She hesitated though, looking over at Roxana, obviously watching the other girl to gauge reactions.

Roxana did trust Elsa, that should have been clear since the day Roxana followed the orders Elsa had given when she remained behind and protected the school. She would not have just done that for anyone that was not a part of the organization that she worked for. There was also the fact that Elsa still had yet to go running off at the mouth and telling people that Roxana was not some normal student. Sure people could guess that Rox was not, but only Elsa had the actual proof and thus far she had not shared it with anyone. So yes, Roxana did trust the other girl and she hoped that that trust was returned. She did recall Elsa before a while back telling her that she did not love or trust Roxana. She didn't ever expect to be 'loved' by Elsa, but she did figure that at one point or the other girl was going to have to trust her. By talking about the things they currently were and the whole Elsa opening up to her, that had made it pretty clear to Roxana.

Roxana looking down as she smiled a little at the thought of having gotten Elsa's trust by this point. At least she was not being a complete failure on her mission ever since the after math of the SPECTRE attack. Roxana just hope that it kept up with that and she had not just jinxed herself by thinking that she was doing better. Elsa rolled her eyes, which Roxana expected but she was going to say it as many times as she needed to until Elsa understood that this was not something that Roxana had a choice in. Roxana had very few choices she could make when it came to the overall direction her life was going to go in. Roxana think hooked her thumbs into her belt loops after the whole little hair playing bit. Not commenting on it since Elsa didn't say anything about it and she didn't really see it as a big deal. Roxana gave Elsa a look when the girl had started to answer the question that Roxana had been wondering in her head.

Was it that hard for Elsa to stay out of someone's head or she just didn’t care and didn't like to leave Roxana wondering. That was sort of nice of her, but it still bothered Roxana that she really could never fully let her mental guard down around Elsa. Roxana could not help but to chuckle a little bit at Elsa words about how Roxana apparently screamed 'para-military or assassin'. Did she really scream that? Roxana figured most people just figured that she was shy or damaged in some way that left her without emotions. Both were not true but that was the feedback she got back most often from people. "Thank you, Elsa." Roxana said, leaving that thank you vague but Elsa could and probably did already look in Rox's head and figured out that Roxana was meaning for everything from talking to her and trusting her. It really did make Roxana feel good about herself and that was why she could not outright get rid of the small smile on her face, so she opted for looking down at the ground.

There was a small pause then followed by that familiar click of a tongue that Roxana sometimes felt was Elsa's sound to make when she was conditioning Rox to how she wanted her to be. That was just paranoid...right? "Understood." Roxana said with a small bow of her head and then watched Elsa, curious as to why the other girl was hesitating and looking over at her. Well now that conflicted feeling was coming back so Roxana opted to say something that she felt would get her an eye roll, a smart comment, but would send Elsa on her way. "Were you wanting a goodbye kiss too?" Roxana asked with a small smirk.

Lots of thoughts to sift through there, and Elsa mostly tuned them out. Despite what everyone thought, she didn't actually bother looking over and reading each and every little bit that passed through someone's brain. That really would drag on her after a while. Basic skimming, looking out for key words, worked a lot better.

It also made it easy to hone in on the actual spoken words, like when Roxana thanked her. Elsa nodded at that, easily accepting the words. Amazing how those two words could be so very well loaded. Then again, they were starting to get to the point where they could talk in shorter and shorter bursts if need be. Which would be excellent when things actually came down to the end.

"I'm not conditioning you," was Elsa's response, "or am I?" she turned and flashed a quick smirk, before waving at Roxana and turning again. "I've paperwork. You're dismissed. And if you're that desperate for affection: I do have a twin who looks exactly like me. You were just talking about how you could definitely seduce her if you wanted, after all."

The thank you was very loaded, but Roxana did figure Elsa would understand that and didn't expect Elsa to even entertain it. She didn't need to, Roxana understood that Elsa knew she meant it and the other girl did not have to say you’re welcome or anything like that. They had started to understand one another a little bit better by now, even if sometimes Roxana felt like Elsa was learning things about Roxana and figuring her out faster than Roxana was figuring Elsa out. She was going to have to watch the other girl with an even closer eye from now on. Keep a closer eye, not let down her guard so much, and also start to figure out what these conflicted feelings even were. More importantly why Elsa was the one that kept stirring whatever they were up inside Roxana. She figured it was nothing that big of a deal, but it was dangerous to not understand yourself when something was 'wrong'.

Roxana gave Elsa a look when the other girl pointed out that she was not conditioning Roxana. Roxana was about to open her mouth to tell Elsa to stay out of her head but then Elsa added that 'or am I' with a quick smirk. Those words brought up the conflicted feelings again along with Roxana putting her guard back up again. It was possible that Elsa might have been and now that Elsa had teased at it, it was going to be something that stuck in Roxana's mind to actively be looking out for signs of any actual conditioning. Roxana didn't say anything at that and just kept her eyes on Elsa as her normal facial expression returned to her face. Elsa had paper work to get to and Roxana was dismissed. Funny how Elsa was using such a word, when Roxana had not been given a mission or anything like that. Well not a mission directly from Elsa, but it did make her modify her own personal mission.

Elsa headed off then, commenting on how if Roxana really wanted affection that she had a twin that Roxana could try her hand at seducing. "It's not about the looks, Elsa." Roxana pointed out as she kept her thumbs hooked in her pant loops, watching Elsa leave for a moment before turning and heading off to go back to training. Looks didn't matter if she was looking for affection. If she had asked it from Elsa, that was who she wanted it from, not someone that looked like her. Not that it mattered because Roxana would not have actually given Elsa a kiss anyways. At least she didn't think she would; there was no point in it unless it was a cheek kiss. She did owe Elsa one of those.
