"Torture is actually tempting,' admitted Elsa. While most people might have been entirely joking, and to be sure, Elsa did on some level, she actually meant the words to some degree. Sometimes she thought that it might just be easier to try and break someone down. Especially in this case. Elsa ended up smiling as Roxana attempted to work it out. The other girl hadn't been there, hadn't experienced what Elsa and Felix had shared in those separate moments.

Normally Elsa called people out on their mental notes, and her mouth opened to do so now. However, she held back, wanting Roxana to put her thoughts into order. In this case, she definitely wanted to read what passed through that mind, but she also wanted to hear what Roxana's fully formed opinion had to be... and it clearly didn't seem that Roxana approved of Erika's matches and such. Elsa felt a momentary surge of something like protective anger at that, but she quelled it. If she addressed everyone's poor thoughts, she'd never get anything done.

The "grand" opinion of Erika continued, as Roxana outlined how she saw Erika's support. "She'd support anyone I attempted to woo," said Elsa, nearly wincing at the words. "It's just that she'd be... more supportive here. As for your other question..." Elsa trailed off, looking away. No direct details; that would be far too much of a betrayal of trust. "Yes, yes he did. Which," she looked back at Roxana, "is obviously a large part of the problem."

Elsa admitted that torture was actually tempting and Roxana could not help but to smirk a little bit at hearing that. "Well I know several guys who could handle it. I do it myself to avoid breaking radio boy forever, but I'm still likely to break him." Roxana said implying that she did in fact think that radio boy was a bit on the soft side. She was not even sure why he had gone on the whole SPECTRE thing other than to see the girl that he had been pinning for. A girl, that basically fell for another guy while being locked up and left him out to dry. That was the story that had been whispered and what Roxana had put together based upon what she heard and saw for herself. It was a little bit messed up, but just went to show that Erika's feelings has not been that deep for the boy. What bothered Roxana the most was the fact that now Felix was going after Elsa. Well, maybe going after was a poor choice of words but Elsa and Felix were going around one another.

Roxana again tried to stay out of such things but the more she thought about it and Elsa was talking to about it the more she felt like this was all pretty stupid. Roxana had half expected Elsa to chew her out or say something about Roxana's disagreement with Erika's taste and decisions, but she didn't. If she had gotten mad Rox would have understood but at the same time Elsa said she wanted Roxana to be herself and Roxana was just speaking how she saw it. "Ah, so one of those types." Roxana responded, making a mental note about that bit of information on Erika, something she would have guessed but was not confirmed. Roxana plucked at the blades of grass as Elsa pointed out how Erika would just be more supportive in this situation. "Like I said before, sounds to me like she is just shoving her leftovers at you so she does not have to deal with them." Roxana said simply and then opted to go silent after that. Well she was going to stay silent and she did for a moment as Elsa basically revealed that yes, Radio boy had in fact said something to Elsa that was meant to be to Erika.

Roxana just looked at Elsa, staying silent and refraining from well giving Elsa a look like Elsa was stupid. Roxana had friends before and had to deal with such things before, and Elsa was her friend...right? So she could not just trample all over her but she could not lie to her. "The fact that you know that he had deep feelings for your sister should be enough to tell you that being involved with him is a bad idea. You are your own woman but you are still young so it’s probably likely that you will make the mistake of still dealing with him and letting those feelings get in the way. As a friends I would say that I want what is best for you and I don't see him as it and as someone who has to protect you I say do whatever the hell you want but you are always going to have that doubt of if it’s really you he want." Roxana said as she looked up at Elsa, staring at the other girl with her voice being to the point.

"I never said it was him," said Elsa, though she smirked while she did. She hadn't needed to, because Roxana wasn't an idiot. It didn't take much to figure out precisely who Elsa had been talking about and cut to the heart of the issue. Elsa was a little surprised at the various thoughts, and again she wanted to leap in defense of her sister. Clearly Roxana didn't quite understand how deep that relationship ran, which almost confused Elsa. You'd think that would've come up, considering the research and the fact that Elsa had gathered together a crew of people to go save Erika.

"That's not it in the slightest," she nearly snapped as Roxana continued, anger actually bubbling up through her cool facade for a few moments there. "That's not how Erika operates at all," which was wholly true. A moment of silence followed, with Roxana giving Elsa a look that she should've been giving herself. Yes, yes she did think the whole thing was stupid, why else would she have bothered talking about it instead of just doing something?

"Don't you sound wise beyond your years," mumbled Elsa as Roxana finished. It did sound so very much like the same advice she'd given herself. Elsa knew the position, knew where the feelings might be coming in, might be making a mistake, though the "Best for you" part was a little surprising. That last though, it hit almost too close to home. Close enough that Elsa fell into silence after her almost sarcastic comment, her eyes going to the gouges in the wall, her mind going someplace else.

"You didn't have to." Roxana retorted right back, probably only being a little snappy because of the smirk and a small part of her felt like Elsa was challenging her intelligence. No, that could not really have been Elsa aim because clearly Elsa had to know that Roxana was not dumb or else she would not say that Roxana was useful to keep around and wanted her to work for her. Still this conversation did bother Roxana a little bit, mainly for the fact because Elsa called her a friend and part of Roxana actually believed that. That part of her wanting to protect Elsa not just because it was her job. It fell into the same ballpark of why Roxana asked how Elsa was doing every time she would talk to the other girl. Roxana did understand that Elsa and Erika were close but no she did not understand the level of it. Her and her siblings had been close and that was for the sake of wanting to help one another out to get better, but once they were 'better' it was everyman for himself.

Elsa snapped a little there, at least it could have almost been a snap but Elsa was still keeping it together. She was defending her sister and that was what Roxana had expected and was surprised that it took this long for Elsa to get short with her. "I'll have to take your word for it since I don't know her like you do. I'm just saying it from my outside perspective." Roxana said simply, not affected by the snapping at all but she did look away for a moment and messed with her hair. "Sorry to offend." Roxana said then after a moment and then went back to her silence, enjoying the softness of hair as she kept playing with it. She caught the mumble but choose to not to entertain it. She had a feeling that Elsa had thought about this already because Elsa was not stupid. She thought about things but at the moment she seemed to not be thinking with her head at all.

To Roxana, Elsa was thinking with her 'heart' and it was going to end up getting her heart or at least having to deal with that self-doubt with this boy. Was that really worth it? Roxana hated having to deal with doubt and wanted to be able to trust someone if she was going to have feelings for them. Maybe she could not relate to Elsa because she had never been with someone outside of orders. Elsa was silent then, that actually worried Roxana and made her wonder if she was a bit too hard on Elsa. Or that maybe Elsa was getting it but didn't want to get it. Roxana stayed in the silence for a moment before standing up and moving over towards Elsa, reaching out to sort of pat the other girl on her back. "I don't support it, but I'm just a friend on the loosest terms, my support does not really matter. My job is to protect you and its more than just n a physical level." Roxana pointed out, not sure if she really could go on the emotional level with Elsa so went still logical to be safe.

Great, so Roxana's intelligence remained intact. Nice to know that. Elsa did extend a hand and wave off the comments about her sister. She'd jumped a little there, her emotions obviously stirred up for quite obvious reasons. That hadn't meant that Roxana hadn't offended, but it also meant that it was something that Elsa probably would've overlooked under other circumstances.

Yes, yes Elsa was thinking with her heart to some degree, which, again, was precisely the problem. But her head kept spinning, sometimes feeling like a sponge that had absorbed too much. Ha, mixed metaphors had sprouted all over that, but then again, that certainly worked almost too well to explain what was going on in her mind. A whole bunch of mixed metaphors.

Didn't support, and the next bit had Elsa laughing dryly. "Stop acting like you don't damn well know that your opinion is one of the few outside opinions I actually respect around here. Just because we don't hug one another and talk about going out for coffee doesn't mean that I don't trust your judgment." Elsa snorted, pushing off the wall, turning to look at it, then at Roxana. "It just means that I'm also quite capable of being petulant and completely ignoring your advice, even when I'd just asked for it."

She reached down, extending her hand for Roxana to grab. "There's another area that I really do need you to check, and you can continue to berate me for stupid romantic decisions all you want. I promise I won't hold it against you. I mean, obviously I was going to assign you to patrolling toilets to better cover your various targets regardless."

Elsa simply waved a hand as if to just brush away any and all comments about her sister. That was so like Elsa; the hand gesture, how she would just brush things away that she would no longer want to talk about or treat as if they were no big deal. Still Roxana still didn't fully understand Elsa as much as she wished that she understood the other girl. This whole talk had surprised her, but she didn't even know that Elsa picked up on her sister's feelings so that was probably the most likely explanation as to why Roxana was still trying to figure out Elsa. That and the fact that Elsa was good at keeping things hidden, even from Roxana who was basically trained to find out and understand her targets. Each time she felt like she had Elsa all figured out, there was always more to learn.

Not that Roxana was complaining because it just made Elsa all the more interesting to her. Like the company she worked for, Roxana had high hopes and expectations for Elsa in the future. A dry laugh followed by words that Roxana half knew but hearing them was just altogether different than just knowing. It was like knowing someone was proud of you, but when they actually said it to you it felt vastly different. Elsa respected her opinion even if they didn't hug and talk about going out to coffee. For a moment Roxana wondered why they didn't do such thing since it would give the ideal cover to discuss possibly sensitive topics that Elsa didn't want people to overhear. Roxana would never tell anyone but the people she worked for the things shared with her, and even then she didn't share everything, just what was overall important.

Roxana did chuckle at the last bit that Elsa said, knowing that to be very true since Elsa had done it a lot by now. Elsa did what she would think was the best in the end and that was why Roxana was not too worried about the choices Elsa would make, minus ones like this when she was listening to her heart instead of her head. Feelings got in the way of thinking clearly, clouding judgment. "It makes me feel like I wasted my breath, but I would not expect it to be any other way." Roxana responded back but she was caught off guard by what Elsa did next. The extend hand that was out for Roxana to take so they could go somewhere else. Why was Roxana felling...well conflicted again? She could not even hide that she was caught off guard by the gesture and hesitated for a moment before reaching and taking the hand.

"You are doing that thing where you make me feel conflicted again." Roxana pointed out as she rose to her feet with the help of the hand and was ready to where Elsa was leading them. Roxana made sure to do her best to block out the odd feeling she was having for a moment with thinking about what Elsa said and this other location. Thinking more so on what else she could inform Elsa on about her 'romantic' choices. "Well since you won't hold it against me and I know for a fact that you would not waste my skill on patrolling toilets..." Roxana paused for a moment, wanting to say they next bit right.

"I will say that while I'm not telling you to follow your heart or whatever you’re feeling, just don't fall to deep. Since the deeper you fall the more doubt that will be there and the more it will hurt when you find out it’s all a lie." Roxana pointed out and yes there was a little bit of personal experience, but not on her end. On the end of a target in the past that she was supposed to woo and obtain information from, and she did just that.

Roxana might have wasted her breath, though she certainly sent Elsa's mind whirling. Would it be like that? was she fooling herself? It would be odd for her to let her heart lead her head, since that was usually what Erika did. Then again, sometimes it made Erika deliriously happy, and didn't Elsa want some of that. She instead got to keep inspiring conflicted feelings in people.

She helped Roxana to her feet though. Elsa started to move, only to pause and look back at Roxana when the other spoke, raising her eyebrows. Don't fall too deep? Might get burned? "My, you must be an absolutely wonderful partner," drawled Elsa. She added a quick smirk, obviously hinting toward the near constant joke between them of Roxana continually asking Elsa out and Elsa continually turning her down, or, more frequently, Elsa bringing it up just to rub her lack of interest in Roxana's face.

Super-friend-zoned, as the term may be.

"Why do I get the feeling that there's an explanation there?" she asked. Elsa quirked a brow for a moment before turning to move, gesturing for Roxana to come with her. There was that other area, after all, though Elsa wanted Roxana's opinion for something different then "will your crystals dissolve." "Do I need to go digging around in your mind or are you feeling like sharing?" Since those were the only two possible options when Elsa Bellefonte was involved, obviously.

Roxana moved to follow Elsa so they could get to this other location, only having to stop and then take a step back when Elsa paused. Giving Roxana a raised eyebrows look when the other girl turned to look at her, as if Roxana had said something weird…or perhaps interesting? Again Roxana was no mind reader but she was pretty good at ready body language and social ques. A sort of ‘hmpf’ that was sort of like a very halfhearted attempt to laugh was the sound that laugh Roxana at the question. A smirk from Elsa. It obviously hinting at something more of a joke. There was no real way Roxana even knew how to give a response to that since for one she could not date herself. Two, she had never actually gone out with someone before unless it was on orders. The major part of that all that nagged at Roxana was the fact that how those order relationship ended.

Thankfully Elsa didn’t bring up the whole asking out to prom joke that the other girl seemed to love to hang over Roxana. Make it clear that she was not interested and that they would only ever be just friends. Roxana was fine with that. Roxana didn’t fully understand why Elsa would bring it up, but Elsa seemed to enjoy pointing it out and there was not much Roxana could do in the ways of making Elsa stop. Well there was, but she was not going to allow herself to think about such things at the moment. There was a question then, about an explanation behind her word. Did she really have to give one? Elsa could have just taken a peek or made her own little guesses about it. Roxana was tempted to respond a simple ‘Because there is one’ and leave it at that. Elsa however seemed like she was possibly messing around, since she was turning around and leading the way.

Roxana moved to follow so they could get to this other area, Roxana trying to figure out what else Elsa would ask for her opinion on. They already talked about her crystals, then Elsa’s romantic life, what was next? It was quickly made clear that Elsa had not dropped the topic from her earlier question with her next statement about sharing or if Elsa had to use her powers. Roxana let out a sigh, knowing that even if she did her best to block her mind that Elsa would get to it with enough effort so she might as well tell. Plus Elsa had felt comfortable to tell or use; depending on how you looked at it, Rox about her well feelings. “I do more than just protect my targets obviously. The jobs I am ordered to due vary and sometimes it is required of me to be on the more romantic level with certain targets in order to achieve something. So you could say that I have…burned a few people.” Roxana said, giving the very short and round about version of it as she ran her fingers through her hair several time.

Shouldn't take them very long at all to reach the other area. Then Elsa could get Roxana's opinion before even showing her the blueprints and all, which would probably help sway various discussions to come. Her mind was split between thinking on that and the school's future and continuing the intriguing conversation with Roxana.

Elsa forgot about everything but Roxana's love life as soon as Roxana explained. "Really?" she said, raising her brows. "you? You actually... seduce people? No offense, but you'd think they'd assign someone else to you for that sort of purpose. Maybe someone who could actually I don't know, seduce someone. At least that does explain why you come across as so very romance weary."

It sounded like Roxana had actually burned people she cared about. Elsa briefly wondered about that, and seriously considered opening up Roxana's mind to dig about for a few memories. The temptation so bothered Elsa that she actually froze in place, looking over Roxana with a look that clearly indicated that she was certainly thinking deeply about something, likely involving something untoward.

Perhaps she should just be blunt and try to bully it out of Roxana? that felt... wrong considering what had just happened. Plus, Elsa knew she couldn't push Roxana too much, otherwise she wouldn't be of any more use...

Roxana explained as they walked, still not really sure where Elsa was taking them. Not that the area look unfamiliar or anything, she just didn't know what Elsa had in mind or wanted to talk about next. Well talk about in terms of the whole down to business sort of thing that most of their conversations seem to revolve around for at least a moment. Other things were talked about yes, but in the end business was always discussed with Elsa and that was what Roxana was used to at this point. So with this whole; asking about romantic advice and wanting to hear an explanation behind why Roxana had said what she said. It was all a little bit weird or maybe odd was the better word for how Roxana was feeling about Elsa talking about such things with her. At least it was proving the whole 'they were actually something like friends' thing in Roxana's head.

The question with a raised brow followed by words of Elsa actually doubting that Roxana could seduce someone. Saying no offence but Roxana took some, since it was like Elsa was underestimating her. Underestimating just what Roxana could do if she was ordered to do it. "When you figure someone out, it’s actually not that hard to seduce them. Even more so when they are lonely and confused; that is when it is the easiest, since everyone wants to be loved by someone in some way." Roxana pointed out to the other girl who should know by now that Roxana could at least act when she needed to and that she was good at figuring people out by talking and observing them. Plus going through things a person owned and listening in on what others said about them ended up providing information as well. Sure not everyone was easy to get to open up since there had to be an attraction there and it was not like Roxana was tossed at just anyone, her company did their research before assigning her to those certain people after all.

As for what Elsa was thinking, the other girl would have been half wrong in understanding what Roxana was getting out. She had burned people yes, but she could not actually recall ever actually caring about any of them like they did for her. She always knew that it was just a job, another role to play that they did not like the real her. That made it easy enough to not feel anything for the other person in return and while there was one incident where she thought she might have. Things were just way to confusing and risky to even think about such a thing at the time. Elsa was still now, looking at Roxana and clearly giving away that she was thinking about something. "What? You find yourself overcome by a sudden attraction?" Roxana teased with even a small chuckle to just prove the point that she was just kidding. She had a feeling that she knew what Elsa was thinking about but was not mind reader so could not be sure.

"Are you wanting some kind of story time now? Do you desire me to tell you of one such reason why I'm 'wary' of romance?" Roxana asked, doing air quotes around the word wary because it was not the burning that made her wary of it. She just didn't see the point in it when she had orders to obey and how at the drop of a dime she could be asked to do something with someone or to be matched with someone else. Her life was not in her hands.

Roxana made romance sound like some kind of puzzle that you could figure out. In fact, the blonde's view probably sounded a lot like how people likely thought that Elsa thought about her romances and such. After all, not like the general public realized that the Bellefonte twin had a giant weakness in her emotional core. As far as Elsa was concerned, even her friends could pretend that such a thing didn't exist.

It was somewhat worrying that Roxana outlined a situation very close to Elsa's own. Another question popped up, though Elsa kept this one to herself: did she consider seducing me? Possibly, though somehow Elsa doubted it. Elsa just rolled her eyes at the thought, let alone Roxana's suggestion of sudden attraction. "Why, did you dash off and go sleep with Erika when I wasn't looking?" she shot back, raising a brow before continuing on. Thankfully it didn't quite work like that: Erika needed to be emotionally attached, though both twins emotions and sex drives were so tightly tied together that it was rather hard to untangle the threads.

"I don't want you to tell stories you're not interested in telling," replied Elsa. She kept moving forward, her eyes flicking about, admiring the improvements they'd already put into place. "Unless you're going to reveal some intimate secret that will--" she paused, as some of Roxana's thoughts filtered through her. "You really are duty bound, aren't you?" Elsa turned to look at Roxana then, though she still didn't cease moving. "I almost envy that: being able to put duty before emotions like that. If I operated that way, things would certainly be easier."

Romance was a puzzle that you could figure out. Once you collected all the right pieces, you just had to skillfully put them together before the puzzle was complete and you had the other person heart. It again was not all that hard when you understood what a person liked and what it was they desired deep down. Many people thought opposites attracted better, but it was those who you had a lot in common that also worked out well, for obvious reasons being that you had something to talk about and do that the two of you enjoyed. Love; real love, was the only thing that was hard to figure out. Roxana didn't think there was anything such as real love; she didn't think humans were fully capable of loving something...well that was a lie. She felt like they were but it all depend on what that thing was and the kind of person said someone was. That was just how Roxana had seen it due to how she grew up and viewed the world around her.

Elsa should not have been surprised that someone had a similar story to her own. Human beings were all the same deep down even if the outsides looked different. Anything was possible and Roxana was pretty sure that someone in the world could relate to some kind of trouble you had gone through. Sure not every issue you ever had, but if you were going through something, someone somewhere else had gone through the same thing as you, just in another location and with different people. If Elsa had asked her question, then Roxana would have admitted that the thought did cross her mind at one point, but it was quickly dismissed since she had not been asked to do such a thing so even trying it was not necessary. Roxana did sort of chuckle a little at Elsa's eye roll and to the question that was shot back to her. "You should not have to worry about developing feelings for me through your sister. I met her once and I would have to try very hard to seduce her and since that’s not my job, it won't happen." Roxana pointed out and basically was saying that if Elsa ever did feel something for Roxana it would be from her own feelings.

Elsa told her that she didn't have to tell stories that she was not interested in telling. Then Roxana was not going to tell them. She fell back into her silence, following Elsa as she tap her finger tips to her hips as she kept her thumbs hooked into her belt loops. Roxana could care less about the changes that were going around her, she paid attention to them yes because she needed to know about them, but she ended up seeing all the paper work and hearing the talk about things before the changes were made so there were not real surprises. Elsa was then speaking again, something about an intimate secret but her words cut off and she was talking about duty. Elsa looked back at her, but the two of them still walking, and Roxana looking away for a moment at the question and Elsa pointing out that she envied that.

"It's just because of conditioning. When you do your duty life is easy...ish. While if you don't, thing become…difficult and pain is always following." Roxana pointed out looking down at the ground for a moment before looking up to Elsa with a small smile. "I do try, but if I always did my duty then I would not have protected the school and Ellen would not have died. Plus you have seen me after I don't do my duty." Roxana added after a moment, figuring Elsa would understand what she was getting at.

"You almost make me want to challenge you to attempt to seduce her," said Elsa, her lips curving a bit there. An arranged match? For Erika? That would never happen, simple as that. Likely Roxana knew it as well, which meant that if Roxana would attempt a seduction, she'd likely do so in a way that didn't look like something had been arranged. Even Elsa didn't think that Roxana wouldn't use that intelligence of hers when attempting to flirt with someone again.

The response to Elsa's compliment on duty caught her slightly by surprise. Only slightly though: "Conditioned? you almost sound as if you were brainwashed into becoming the perfect bodyguard or something. I'm also not sure how you failed your duty when you were on the frontline protecting people. Well, I suppose more people are aware that you've some training, but we could also just let loose a rumor that you're ROTC or something along those lines. We do have those, and given the way you wear your hair and carry yourself, you could blend in much easier if you claimed to be among their ranks.

"Ah, we're here," said Elsa. They'd arrived near where SPECTRE had assaulted the school. The tire tracks and various obvious signs had obviously been cleared up, but they were still very much within sight of the school, their short walk demonstrating how very far SPECTRE had gotten before meeting hard resistance. "This had been the point where SPECTRE assaulted, and I'm thinking of suggesting defensive measures," Elsa pointed down the hill, her finger tracing a line. "I'm just not sure if that's something we should be looking into or where exactly we should be considering such things, and I figured a second opinion, from someone who was there when it all started, would be welcome."

"Good thing I don't always fall for challenges." Roxana responded back as Elsa words on challenging her to attempt to seduce her sister. No, Roxana would not do that, it would be too much effort and with the information she collected and seen with Erika and her newest boyfriend, she really didn't want to get involved with that. Erika was already a high risk target now that she was with who she was and Roxana really didn't want to stir trouble from a possibly boyfriend who could end up jealous. Erika's boyfriend was much younger than them, so he could have easily still been swayed by his emotions. Plus that was a task that she would only do on order and never some challenge, even if that challenge was coming from Elsa who she felt the need to prove herself to. She blamed that vibe that Elsa had that reminded her of her superiors a little bit.

Roxana gave Elsa a look when the other girl said that Roxana made it sound like she was brainwashed into being a perfect bodyguard. It was sort of like that, but more so how things worked when you were training an animal. Reward for when something was done right and punishment when something was done wrong. Pushed well passed your limits and close to death a few times until you didn't fear it and would fight to live. Elsa seemed to be confused on why Roxana had been punished since Roxana had been their protecting people and that she could always say that she was in ROTC as for why she was able to do what she did. Roxana shook her head, Elsa didn't understand. "I was punished because you, a target found out about me. The fact that I was trying to protect everyone instead of my targets and one of my targets being shot is why I was punished." Roxana pointed out, feeling like there was no point in lying about it to Elsa since the other girl could read her mind and Elsa had helped her back to the school...well sort of.

They were there now, the location of where SPECTRE assaulted the school and evidence of it all was still around. They really needed to use some of the staff and students to clean this all up and make it look as if it didn't happen. The sooner the evidence of what had happened was away, the sooner people could forget about it and move on with their lives. No, they should not forget about it fully, buy enough that they were not having nightmares and worrying about someone coming in to kill them. That kind of thing cause too much stress, nightmares, and well just things that teenagers should not have to deal with on top of being hormonal and mutants. Elsa then started to talk about how she planned to improve defenses or the school, in case something like this happened again and wanted a second option. Right, Roxana's opinion did matter to Elsa and for something like this the other girl probably would listen. Roxana closed her eyes for a moment to remember everything and then looked around, it all settling back in her mind.

"It does not hurt to have a defense set up, even if SPECTRE does not come back. They would be stupid if they did, but they were stupid in the first place to attack us." Roxana said and then stopped herself and quickly thought about her crystals because she almost slipped up and let out information on SPECTRE that she knew about because of her organization. "I suggest setting up cameras along the perimeters and having a location in town for all the students and staff to evaluate to in case this happens again. With planned out routes with barriers to protect them." Roxana suggested and the reason why she wanted them to retreat into the town was because of the locals there that were not mutants and the fact that it was a town. Sure people had been upset to hear innocent kids had been gunned down, but imagine hearing innocent non mutant kids and families were killed.

Elsa quirked a brow about Roxana's listing for punishments. She'd definitely have to figure out who these people were and do something about them. She was again tempted to offer Roxana some kind of job, but she had a feeling that the offer would meet the same kind of reception that it had met last time. She kept quiet, at least for now, though her mind continued racing.

As Roxana prattled off the various improvements, Elsa again listened intently. It all sounded good, and some of it matched up with what Elsa herself had thought up. They had already talked about cameras and escape routes, though going so far as to get the help of the locals might be an excellent step to take. Elsa made a mental note to try and improve relations with Kalispell in the future.

"We shouldn't get too defensive or military though, should we?" asked Elsa, deadly serious. She pointed. "There's been some talk about putting in defensive structures, towers or bunkers or something along those lines. I don't want to make us look paranoid, but at the same time, we can't afford a repeat like this. Too many lives were lost as it is," she lowered her hand, tapping it against her thigh in an irritated manner. Too many lives lost so far, and there they were, planning for another. She could only hope that the political campaigns worked and that they were planning for nothing.
