Zoe's words did actually make Devyn feel a bit bad about the whole getting the other girls number. It was not like she asked for it directly. Just flirted and hinted at it, which she did all the time. Right, it was still a very stupid move to do when out on a date with someone, but it was just her way of making conversation while the tickets were being counted. You can give as many excuses as you want, you still know it was not right. Devyn mentally scolded herself, moving a hand into her hair to mess with it. She had to at least apologize and then make it up to Zoe. Really she was the worst, but this was the sort of thing that Devyn did, that ended up ending relationships for her. Being honest was the only real thing that would be the right thing to do in this situation, at least that was what Devyn's was thinking. "Well, it might be real but then that would mean that she is either really despite or my flirting has gotten better." Devyn sad as she scratched at her head, giving Zoe an apologetic look.
They went into the booth either way and were looking through the photo options and Devyn mentally chuckled a little at some of the options. This had to be difficult to deal with for someone who was good at photography and this was a machine that was doing a poor job at it. It was all for fun however so Devyn figured Zoe would put up with it for the sake of having fun. Devyn had been going through the section before Zoe leaned forward and started flipping through them on her own, indeed interrupting what Devyn was doing. Just letting know Devyn know basically that Zoe was in fact upset with what Devyn had did. "Zoe, look at me." Devyn said as she reached to take the hand that Zoe was using to make selections, reaching her free hand to reach into her back pocket and crumple up the paper with the number on it and tossed it onto the floor. "It really didn't mean anything, I was just making conversation, and you know how almost everything I say comes off as flirting in a way." Devyn said trying to explain it, but knew she was still in the wrong.
She just wanted Zoe to understand that she was not doing it to hurt Zoe, because that was the last thing on her mind. She really, really cared about Zoe. More than she let on, like she revealed to Zoe a little while ago. It was just because of these feelings that she was well more or less just shoving them under a rug and trying to act like they were not there. "Can you forgive me? I keep messing up our moment together and I really don't want to. Can we just forget about all of that and get back to having fun and enjoying ourselves while we can?" Devyn asked, looking down for a moment, wondering what she could do to let Zoe know that she really did care and was not trying to hurt her.
