She didn't mind disruptions. Especially when she was the one making them. Which she was. And didn't care that she was. "You aren't the one I'm looking for." She stated when one man tried to question why she was there. It was her business why she was there. So she ignored him and moved further into the office. Where the hell was that little red head?
But it with hair like that it didn't take her long. Rebekka made her way right over. "Hey shortie." She said with a crooked grin. Here was her target. One encounter was usually the minimum Rebekka needed to pester someone. If even that much. She did what she wanted. "You have a lunch break yet? Let's get lunch. I'm bored out of my mind and hungry." She added. What better reason did she need?
While she was there, Rebekka took a glance around the place. Then frowned. "Thank god I didn't settle for a desk job. I'd bite someone's head off sitting around in this damn place."

Alex's banishment to the archive room of the Academy administration office was a double edged sword. On the one hand she was able to work at her own pace and didn't have to worry so much about the presence of her superiors. On the other she was stashed away by herself and that was detrimental to her ability to focus on the task at hand.
When Rebekka found her Alex was draped sideways over an office chair, head tilted upward, staring at the ceiling. One leg dangled over the edge of the seat, her sneakered toe barely reaching the floor. She lazily kicked, her eyes gazing absently off into space as she spun around in a lazy circle. With a sigh that could only have come from all consuming boredom Alex kicked again. Her head tilted to one side and her jaw went slack right before she was stricken by a deep yawn.
It wasn't so much the voice that caused Alex to let out a shrill cry of surprise and topple off the spinning chair as it was the sudden movement from the corner of her eye. The chair and the redhead tumbled to the floor in a heap. Alex sprawled out across the carpet face up, arms and legs splayed out around her. She peered upward at Rebekka from her spot on the floor and smiled brightly, seemingly undaunted by the spill she'd just taken. To Alex this was just another day.
"Hey there!" Alex chirped cheerily, still not bothering to move much. She lifted a hand and wiggled her fingers in greeting. "Lunch sounds good." Alex agreed with a nod before turning over and pushing herself up to her feet. "It's not so bad." She insisted, pausing to brush off her jeans, even though there was no dirt to be found on them. "They leave me alone and, uh, it's easy to keep myself busy." Her eyes drifted upward to the ceiling where no fewer than a dozen pencils were embedded into the tiles.

Alex looked brain dead when Rebekka first came over. Hell maybe she was. But then she spazzed out with a cry and tumbled to the floor. Rebekka laughed, a bit of her typical harshness in the sound. This was exactly why she'd gone after the tiny girl. It was so easy to laugh around her. Which was refreshing and rare. Rebekka grinned and leaned against her folded arms on the desk. "Hey there pixie. Having fun?" She responded, chuckling. This girl was hilarious. She wasn't even getting off the floor yet.
Lunch sounded good. Rebekka was glad she'd agreed readily enough. Alex insisted it wasn't that bad. Rebekka laughed again, only this time it was harsher. "Yeah? Your earlier expression wasn't exactly convincing, shortie. You looked brain dead. I thought I was about to ask a zombie to lunch." She returned. But she didn't blame Alex. Rebekka herself would go mad in here. Especially stored so far away into the corner. Alex's eyes drifted upward and so did Rebekka's. Pencils littered the ceiling. Busy huh?
Rebekka snorted. She cleared some space from the desk and got up on it. "Move it shortie. So I don't step on you." Rebekka warned. She plucked the few she could reach down and dropped them to the floor. The farthest ones she focused on before jumping. She got the rest in the air and then landed. "You know, I could give you hell for this sort of thing." She pointed out, grinning. She tossed them onto the desk. "But I don't care enough and I'm too hungry. So let's go shortie."
