Addison couldn't help laughing lightly at Alex's response. Though her uncertainty over something like that did raise some questions. "If making sense is the only reason why you think it should happen...maybe it's not something you should go into." She said.
It wasn't her place to give Alex any relationship advice but marriage was a big step and if Alex didn't think it was something she would do, she shouldn't go into it. But what did she know. She was twenty-two years old and was only just starting to go on a date.

"You don't have to tell me that." Alex replied with a shake of her head. She had to issue a short laugh at the absolute insanity of the entire conversation. Just the mere thought of her, Alex Lawson, ever walking down the aisle in a white dress was enough to blow her mind. She was hardly the marrying type. She was still in her building couch cushion forts phase of her life. What the hell did she know about getting married?
"Neither of us have." Alex admitted. "I hadn't thought about it until someone else brought it up." She frowned a little to herself and let out a low sigh. "I don't know." She groaned as her hands came up to pull her long, thick ponytail over her shoulder and pressed the hair into her face in exasperation. She then froze, her brow furrowing in thought and let the strands of crimson fall from her face. "Addie." She said, her body growing rigid and tense. "What if he's thinking about it?" The color started to drain from her face. "Oh God... he can't... can he?" She asked as panic began to set in.

Addison laughed before tilting her head, affection clear in her face when Alex hid behind her hair. She kept quiet until something dawned on Alex that made Addison quietly chuckle.
"You've been together for four years. If he hasn't, there has to be something wrong with him." Addison noted before leaning back in her chair and looking at Alex. "But you don't have to worry about that." She shrugged before gesturing to the room they were in. "This...this you have to worry about."

Alex chewed nervously on her lower lip while Addie spoke. She nodded faintly and then let out a short huff. Addie was right. The whole thing was ludicrous to think of. She was getting worked up over something that hadn't happened, hadn't been so much as hinted at happening and probably wouldn't ever happen. "You're right." Alex gave a curt nod and cleared her throat. She straightened herself onto the chair and glanced down to the notepad she'd been holding on her lap.
"Yeah, uh, we have three songs put together." Her brow furrowed as she looked over the chicken scratch she'd scribbled across the page. "And Jordan came up with this great melody for a fourth." She nodded slowly, smiling at that. "I think it's going to be our best one yet." She peered across the room with an hopeful and curious expression on her face. It was almost as if she was looking for some sort of affirmation that she was doing all this right.

When Alex went back to her notepad, Addison watched as with each words connected to music made the Italian more relaxed. It was a curious thing, seeing her fret over something that would have made any girl who had as good a boyfriend as Alex did happy. But who was she to say anything? Up until a few days ago, her experience with love and anything pertaining to it had been one-sided.
The talent scout smiled brightly once Alex finished talking. "Yeah?" Addison tilted her head slightly. "I can't wait for it to translate into recordable audio." She added, genuinely eager to hear what the band would sound like with their own music. She knew they were good but doing covers was not comparable to making their own music.
"Do you think you'll be able to do it before the deadline?"

Alex hastily nodded. Writing and creating in such a hands on, collaborative way was still so new to her. Everything she'd done previously had been only her sitting with her headphones on quietly going about her business with some crappy programs and minimal equipment. Having access to an actual studio with state of the art tech and having her much more experienced bandmates at her side to offer ideas of their own to work on felt awkward at times, but remained a dream come true. "Me too. I think once we start actually producing the album it'll be really cool." She couldn't help but beam at that.
The question that soon followed caused a spike of dread to tighten Alex's chest. Her eyes widened and she gawked at Addie for a moment until she could regain control of her sense. "D-deadline?" She stammered as if she'd no idea about any such thing. "What deadline? We don't even have anything recorded... we haven't even been assigned a producer..." The panic was starting to well up inside the tiny redhead as her mind suddenly began bombarding her with thoughts of failing after having come so far and worst-case scenarios of being fired before getting the chance to do anything.
