Callie gave a cheeky smile. He had seemed thrown off by her long compliment. She simply nodded and scrunched her nose. “Perfect! I know a good store come with me.” She said happily, and took his hand before taking the lead to the outdoorsy store. “Ya know. I personally am opposed to fishin’, but you do watcha want.” She said temporarily throwing up her hands in defeat. She wasn’t one for pushing her beliefs on other, but she wasn’t opposed to sharing them when the opportunity presents itself.
“So, when’s the party anyhow?” She figured it was soon, most people tending to go gift shopping last minute, but who knows, maybe he was different.
With the bag of dresses in hand, the boy gladly let himself be dragged behind the girl as she lead them to the store she mentioned about. He was of course relieved that he did not have to spent or rather waste anymore time searching for the right store or something since he had Callie directing him in the right direction.
Even though Cash Hunter could have just used his speed -- because when did he not honestly? -- and quickly scan the stores, he liked not having to wear himself out unnecessarily. He had a helper today and he was going to make full use of it. Plus, that would also mean he would not start craving for another meal especially since he just finished one before coming to the mall about an hour ago.
He chuckled when she said she was opposed to fishing. "Ha, I wouldn't know much about that to be honest. I always thought it was fun, though that's just speaking from watching it on tv." The boy laughed and shrugged. "Guess it's stinkier and messier, huh?"
Oh but the nineteen year old was no different. "In about an hour or so," he admitted with a cheeky smile. One would think with the super speed, he would get things done faster and earlier but in reality, it mostly contributed to his procrastination.

Callie was glad he hadn’t put up much of a fight as she led him to the store. It had worked out well too, perhaps she could pick up a few things as well. She had yet to go camping around here and was tempted to pick up a kit for herself. Although, with the somewhat recent attack, maybe it’d be best if she waited.
As they entered the store Callie gave a big smile to one of the employees and waved. Not that she knew him, but why not be friendly? As she passed each aisle she looked around to find what he had been looking for, she turned down one that she thought might have what he needed. “I ain’t never been fishin’ so I wouldn’t know ‘bout it bein’ messy and stuff. What I do know,” She said pointing a finger, “Is that it’s kinda cruel to enjoy sticking a hook in a poor fish’s mouth for fun.” She said shaking her head, she didn’t want to begin her rant, but she couldn’t help but finish. “I mean think ‘bout it. It’s like me piercing your mouth and dipping you in the water for a bit before taking it out and throwin’ ya back on land. It’s medieval.” She threw up her hands and huffed, “I’m sorry. I’m done now.” She said with a wary giggle.
Her blue eyes scanned the shelves, and she twisted her mouth trying to figure out which one would be best. She shot a look over at Cash. “An hour?!” She said with a laugh. “You ain’t a bad cousin, just a bit of a procrastinator.” She shook her head and pulled something off the shelf. “How ‘bout this?”

The boy stood still with his eyes widened. Slowly, he turned his head and brought his attention from the tools on the shelf to staring at the blonde. The shock and surprise could clearly be seen etched on his face.
Out of all the responses he would have expected, the one Callie gave definitely did not cross his mind. He would have thought a girl liked her who preferred the outdoors over dresses would have gone fishing before. But did not think that she actually meant that she was really really opposed to the sport.
"Oh wow. I've never seen it the way you paint the picture," he admitted with a small laugh, flashing her a smile in a way telling her that the mini rant was perfectly fine. Heck, he had endured even longer rants thanks to Bucky, his cousin. From the way she spoke passionately about the horrendous activity and how much it seemed that she was against putting hooks in fishes, he wondered if that meant she was a vegetarian, but he did not voice his question.
Her reply issued a chuckled out of the boy. "Well you got that right." Cash took the item from the girl and inspected it; a set completed with a tent and a two sleeping bags. "This looks good. I think a camping bag, a bottle and the whole equipment would complete it." His eyes scanned the aisle looking for the supplies section when they then landed on the fishing gear section. "Well fishing is out of the question," he said, smirking.

Callie looked at Cash, confident that she had frightened him. It wasn’t every day that she acted in such a way, but she couldn’t help it. Normally she had no problem voicing her own opinions and excited to hear others in return but she usually would do so in a calm manner. By the look of the boy’s face she was sure she scared him off.
The blonde let out a soft chuckle when Cash laugh, feeling a bit relieved he didn’t think she was psychotic. She gave a shrug, “Most folks don’t.” She had plenty of other ways to explain how she view fishing but she kept them to herself for now.
She regained her composure as Cash took the item from her and evaluated it. She hoped he would like it, considering how poorly she had assisted him earlier. Her smile grew wide when he had approved it. She clasped her hands together, “Perfect!” She began looking in the aisle alongside him. She shook her head and giggled at his last remark. “At least for me it is.”

"Well who knows, maybe not going fishing would teach him a thing or two," he said lightheartedly. Cash for one never really went fishing because that just was not what the Hunters do to be honest. Those kind of activities were not something the boy was used to be exposed to during his early childhood. Who knew, it might even be the same story for his little cousin too.
Whether it was a good thing or a sad thing, Cash had not entirely made his mind up yet about it.
The nineteen year old boy took the camping bag and began moving down the aisle searching for the other equipment. "Oh lucky for me, they're throwing it at my place. Pennrook Ridge." Very lucky for the boy shopping for presents at the last minute. "That means I could just run over there," he said cheekily.
He grabbed what he wanted off the shelves and not long later he had all the items for his little cousin. At the counter, he paid for it and flashed a smile when he was handed his bag.
"You know, if it weren't for you, I don't think I could have found everything in time. Thank you," he said, turning to Callie. "Say, do you want to go to the party with me?"
