Callie Grace Montgomery
FACE CLAIM: Candice Accola
---------------------------------
AGE: Twenty
GENDER: Female
ORIENTATION: Heterosexual
POSITION: College Student
POWER: Visual ProjectionCallie has the ability to project vivid images into another person's mind. She uses this power by imagining a scenario, person, place, or thing and willing her target(s) to see it, or she can make them see nothing at all. Her range includes anyone in her eyesight and can project to multiple targets at the same time and take immediate effect. Callie has been working on perfecting to recreate different places she has been. She also has the ability to alter the way she or her target is perceived. The visions are so real that the target(s) can easily forget reality and truly believe what they are seeing. However, if any other sense is brought into play that isn’t in the illusion they can become confused and disoriented temporary losing their own sense of reality.
LIMITATIONS:
- Can create illusions that affect only sight. People with enhanced senses can see through it.
- Some targets can be immune if they also possess this ability.
- People with psychic shield are either immune or highly resistant.
- People with danger sense may be able to distinguish between a fake illusion and the actual threat.
- Can only affect people in her eyesight, and currently can only affect up to three people at once.
- All people affected by the illusion see the same thing. She can’t have separate illusions for multiple targets.
- Can only hold an illusion for up to ten minutes, anymore and severe side effects can occur. Her optimal maximum time is five minutes.
- Illusion can be destroyed if she is distracted.
- Can only accurately depict things she has seen in person (scenery, animals, people, etc.).
- Can only accurately depict people she knows extremely well (mostly her family). With other people it is extremely difficult without knowing all of their features and forms in great detail, and can sometimes misplace them causing the illusion to look off to the target.
SIDE-EFFECTS:
- Her ability can cause severe mental strain and discomfort if an illusion is held for more than ten minutes.
- Overuse can lead to nosebleeds, migraines, and sometimes can cause her to pass out.
- Using her power multiple times in a day for long lengths of time can lead to temporary blindness that lasts anywhere from thirty minutes to six hours.

PERSONALITY:
Overall Callie is fun-loving, friendly, and a caring person. She likes looking at things from a practical yet positive point of view, and isn’t fond of people who make everything seem to be so negative. She loves to help people, which sometimes can be a problem as people can find her nosy and meddlesome, but to her everyone should be an open book, just like she is. Her life has been “normal” and therefore she never had any reason to hide who she really is. Therefore, she finds it odd and distasteful when people are so closed off.
Since she was raised on a ranch she is extremely fond of the outdoors and animals. Although most of her friends and family from home think she is crazy, she has been a vegetarian since she was six and has a close relationship with the earth.

CHILDHOOD:Callie was born on August 25, 1995 in Scottsville, Texas. A very small town in northeastern Texas. Callie had a normal childhood. Simple too. She has one older brother, Austin. Her parents owned a ranch so as soon as she was able to walk she was put to some kind of work to help around, whether it was feeding the chickens or filling up the water buckets for Austin to carry. She was taught very young what hard manual labor was, but she didn’t mind.
Ever since she could talk her parents knew that she was going to be a handful. She was always questioning everything. When she learned the word why. It became her favorite thing. It was clear that her mind was always seeking, yearning for more. She became very close to all of the animals on the ranch. When she was six she shocked her entire family by saying that she would never eat her mama or daddy so why would she eat the chicken. She truly thought that every living thing on that ranch was a part of the family. She didn’t know what it was called then, but that was the day she decided to become a vegetarian.
ADOLESCENCE:
Callie was sixteen when the weirdest thing happened. It was dinner time, and as usual they were all seated in the dinning room waiting for her mama to bring in the food. Her daddy and brother were talking about getting Austin his own truck soon since he was twenty and all, but all Callie could think about was why were all the animals left outside all day and night long. She thought of them as part of the family. The dogs and cats were allowed to come inside at night so why not the pigs, chickens, cows, and horses? She just kept thinking how nice it would be to have them all at the dinner table with the family. She knew how ridiculous that thought may have been but it came for a positive place. Her eyes looked over to her father, she was going to ask if they could all bring them in. She let out a little giggle, she pictured all of them at the table, a chicken was sitting in a chair. Just before she was about to speak, her daddy’s eyes went wide and he stood from the table and started yelling. Callie blinked a few times, her thought of them there was gone and she was concerned for her daddy. He was frozen, and confused. Austin kept asking him what was wrong. It took about five minutes before he spoke, and all he managed to mutter was that he saw a chicken sitting at the table.
A week had gone by and things had settled down. Daddy never spoke about that night again, denying that he saw it, that he wasn’t crazy. Callie never did ask her question, nor did she mention that she had been thinking about that chicken.
Unfortunately, things were brought up again when two men showed up at their house, saying that Callie had to leave and attend a special school in Montana. Her parents were more than willing to let her go. Callie however, screamed and kicked, protesting. She refused to leave her family and was confused as to how her parents could so easily let her go. What’s about the animals? Who would be there to protect them?
Bellefonte at first was a tough experience for Callie. She was still bitter and upset about being ripped from her family and friends. Not to mention she hated the weather up north. It was so cold. Over time she adjusted quite well, learning to make best of the situation at hand. She worked as often and as hard as she could to control and use her powers. At first she was only able to affect one person and for no more than a minute, but with nothing else really distracting her and no need to be working at the crack of dawn on a ranch she was able to put all her energy and time into making her ability more than it was.
ADULTHOOD:
During her time at the academy her powers had improved greatly to what the are today. She hasn’t been home since she was sixteen, she felt it was unnecessary. She has long forgiven her parents for allowing her to leave and realized that it was for the best. Her new home and family was in Kalispell. On her eighteenth birthday, she went and got the tattoo on her ribs. She felt it was her life’s motto. That and she loves horses.
Academically she’s excelled in all of her classes, and when she had finished school she felt it was most appropriate to continue on and attend college at Bellefonte as well. She finds that she uses her ability less as the years go on, she is content with how much she has grown with it and usually only uses it if it is to help another person in a positive way. Callie is currently starting her second year of college at Bellefonte.
