Raven really needed to just decide if she was going to drink herself to death or not. Because all this uncertainty was bad for her health.
It was getting pretty darn late, late enough that her phone had died a while ago without her noticing. for a while now she'd just been wondering around aimlessly, drinking her way through the plastic bag of booze she'd started the evening with.
After a brief check she found she was out of beer, and only had that bottle of wine left. "That sucks." Raven muttered in disappointment, before shrugging it off and pulling the cork out with her teeth.
So the question was, what was she even trying to achive? and the answer was nothing. this was all pointless beyond its own meaning. Ah well least it was fun in its own stupid way. And it killed an evening of her life.
Really, what she needed most was a hobby. But that was tomorrows thing. Tonight, she drank!
Raven stopped and just leaned against a street lamp, taking the occasional swig from the bottle. She'd finish this then head home and sleep most of tomorrow away to reduce how bad the hangover would be. Because that's what maturity looked like.

Patrols. Everyone had to do them at least a few times a month unless you made a deal with someone to take on the ones they had to do. That was what Roxana had done for the sake of getting some 'friendships' established at her work place. Of course that meant that she was in a way using the people she was socializing with, but that was not really knew. She needed to use them and her position to her advantage and it was the only reason why she was an officer to begin with. Not that anyone else would be aware of that and it was going to remain that way.
At any rate, she had taken on someone’s rounds and even with taking them on her own. She was not in her uniform but had her badge on her and was in an undercover car for driving around. Rox even offered up to use her own personal car but they had one for her to use, so she was using that car instead. It was still nice, it was just odd to drive a truck when she was used to driving fast sports cars. At the very least it made it easy for her to check things out when she was not driving something that clearly screamed that a cop was inside the car.
It was while she was on patrol that she saw someone walking and drinking, which she was pretty sure was against the law, public intoxication or something along those lines. American laws were always so confusing especially when things were not the same in every state. Rox parked her car not too far away before she got out and went to approach the women. "Excuse me miss, are you alright?" Roxana asked first. She first had to establish what the woman was drinking and if she was in fact publicly intoxicated...even if it was late at night. Her mind was already running through the laws but she had a feeling she was going to end up letting this person go.

Oh yeah this was absolutely what Raven wanted to be dealing with. If police are involved nothing good could be going on, so that meant she was probably going to loose her buzz any second now.
She wasn't fall over drunk... but if she was driving she'd be WAY past the limit. so this wasn't going to be any fun. completely brazenly, Raven raised the wine bottle up and sipped from it, and wiped her mouth with the back of her hand before she answered.
"Ah I couldn't possibly be better Officer." Raven said cheerfully, aware there was a slur to her words that she couldn't hide. What was the punishment for this? a couple weeks community service? Right now she couldn't remember much of all the stuff she'd been learning. It had vanished into the pleasant fog the booze had created inside her skull.
"Just trying to enjoy my evening, you know how it is right? Get stressed, want something to relax ya. Bet you'd be considering the same thing if you weren't on duty tonight?" she asked, having zero interest in talking about herself. Any luck this lady wouldn't bother with the paperwork of arresting her. Somehow she figured it'd be a bad idea to offer an officer a sip of her drink.
As freaking hilarious that would be though.
Raven cast her mind around for something to say that'd derail the whole official nature of things. "slow night?" she eventually settled on. figuring something completely meaningless might be better then something Raven would have to put thought into replying to. She doubted this was the time for a debate.

As Roxana approached, the girl even so boldly took a drink right in front of her. Was she looking to get in trouble tonight? Rox could already feel herself not looking forward to what was going to follow this exchange. It didn't help that her mind was already searching through her memory to try and identify the girl. Rox had a very good memory and she pretty much had the faces of everyone that worked with her, along with people still attending Bellefonte Academy for reasons pertaining to the person she was looking after there. "I see that. Feeling so well that you drink right in front of me?" Roxana asked.
There was no feeling behind her voice; it was a simple fact that she stated. It was still taking a bit for her to figure out who this girl was, but she was pretty sure that this girl went to BA which meant that she was a mutant. Which also meant that she could be underage which would make this exchange even more interesting. Interring in the fact what Rox would 'have' to do but not in the level of her having to do it. She listened to the slurred speech of how the girl was trying to unwind and the usual words that came along in this situation. "I don't really drink." Roxana responded. She could drink and when she did she could drink a lot.
She just didn't really unless she had to for whatever reason. Drinking weakened you in ways that Rox did not desire to be weakened and thus she didn't really partake in such activities. "There are other ways to get rid of stress and you do realize that public intoxication, it illegal. Right?" Roxana then asked as she looked over the girl for a moment. Yes, she could smell the alcohol on her and by the way the girl carried herself it was just a good thing that she was not behind the wheel at this moment. It was late and Rox didn't really receive any complaints about this girl, so she was already leaning towards letting the girl off with a warning.
Likely offering her a ride home so nothing bad would happen to her, because a drunken young women walking alone just seemed like bait. Was it a slow night? Rox glanced off for a split second at that question. "You could say that, but I'm not out here to try to reach a quota or anything." Rox pointed out since that was also something people would bring up when a cop was 'bothering' them when they were not really 'doing anything'.

Okay then, Raven really needed to not tick this lady off, if possible. Something about her emotionless voice told her that there wasn't going to be much fun to get out of her. If only she'd ran into a cop with a good sense of humour. "Well.... yeah? You being here doesn't factor into how I feel about drinking." she answered, acting dumb for the hell of it. "I mean really, why would it?"
The thing was, Raven both respected and despised the police. On the one hand, they were doing a thankless job of protect and serve all the ungrateful assholes. her being the most ungrateful and asshole-ish of them all. so.... yeah she appreciated them getting as many serial killers and shit off the streets as they could. on the other hand, the police were the authority. The soldiers of those in power. So they were on her not to be trusted list automatically.
She could explain to this lady, who was probably a perfectly nice woman, that she was being held against her will in a secure compound and that she was being tracked so she couldn't escape. but it was the government who had done it, so there was nothing Miss Cop here could or would do to help her. People thinking the law is more important then morality was a dangerous thing.
"Well more for me then." Raven grinned, "better then those cops that'll confiscate my stuff and enjoy it all the way back to the station." Which had happened to her more then once, though she couldn't prove that was what they'd done with her booze.
Okay. she knew it was a bad idea. but she couldn't resist this one. "Right? like... are you. are you asking me if it's illegal or not?" she asked, chuckling. "i think i'm somewhat biased on the topic. going to be honest here." As for stress relief. "See if i'd ran into someone as pretty as you not in a uniform i'd be thinking of much better stress relief for sure. But I don't date Cops." Sad really. this lady really was pretty.
That last bit made her scoff, it was just far to against everything Raven believed in. But she didn't feel like having a debate on political and social issues. "Didn't even mean it like that. Just figured you must have crap all to be doing, if the strong arm of the law is coming down on a girl minding her own business. Probably no gang wars across town or kittens up trees."

It was very easy to figure out just what kind of women this person was, from just her behavior and the way she carried herself. Roxana did have to keep in mind that the women did have more than just the drink in her hand, so her behavior was going to be different then how it would normally be. That didn’t change the fact that the woman was still publicly intoxicated and also didn’t look like she was even old enough to be drinking. There was still some internal debate on how Rox was going to go about this, when most of her just wanted to go back to what she was doing before.
Who in SIGURD though it would be a good idea for her to pose as a cope instead of just working at some random location and using her skills to obtain information like she normally did. Now was not the time to be questioning orders however, so she refocused. The women’s response was odd…which was why Roxana didn’t say anything and just looked at her for a moment. Rox rejected the drink and apparently that meant the girl could and would proceed to drink it all for herself. Well, that was not really helping her case. A part of Rox wanted to chuckle at how foolish this girl was, but Rox rarely chuckled and this was not going to be the time she would.
“I suppose if you are going to be busted it would be smart to consume all of it that you could before it was too late. Unfortunately that also means in increase in your blood to alcohol count, which is bad if it is found to be too high." Roxana pointed out as she knew now that she was going to have to bring the girl in at this point now. It would be irresponsible for her not to at this point. “It was a rhetorical question…of sorts.” Roxana clarified as she then debated if she was going to give the women a test or just ask her to get in the back of her car now.
So many options she didn’t desire to make and yet again was questioning her superiors. Then there was some…flirting? Perhaps flirting going on but Roxana’s expression didn’t change. “Sex would indeed be a better source to use as stress relief and you don’t have to date someone in order to have sex with them.” Roxana pointed out. Not that she was trying to get sex or anything; she was simply stating the facts like she always did. She was then going to ask to see the girl’s ID but the whole ‘better things to do’ came up and the girl clarifying what she meant.
Yes, this one was certainly a jokester. “Unfortunately for you, I don’t have much to be doing on a night like this. Now may I please see your ID? I have a feeling the main problem right now is that you are not old enough to be drinking.” Roxana pointed out as she extended her hand out expectantly.
