One minute the girl had entered the room and the next she was out again. Poppy Lockwood had just arrived at her dorm after attending a last minute scheduled class on a freaking Sunday. When she entered her dorm, she found the door to her room was ajar. That did not bother her because she thought she had just forgot to shut it when she rushed for class this morning. But when in her room, she saw that Coca-Cola's cage was opened. Moreover, her pet was not in it. So immediately she ran out of her dorm in search of her cat.
Poppy searched the corridors. Not many rooms were unlocked or opened, but the ones that were, she would search in it. Oh where could you have gone? She hated not knowing where her truest friend was. She then made rounds around the second floor, tried not to leave a single spot untouched. As if the universe had decided not to mess with her for the second time around in the day, she heard a meow. "Coca-cola?" her voiced called out. Then again the meow was heard.
When the sound was louder, she knew she must be nearing. Slowly, she felt a load taken off her. When she rounded a corner, she was met with the sight of a girl. Along with the girl was a cat. Letting out a heavy sigh, Poppy stared at the feline in disappointment. "You're not Coca-cola."

Rylee had been quite happily playing with Batman, her therapy maine coon, to sooth her nerves because there had been a fight at the end of the hall. The cat was chasing the long lope of his leash which was attatched to his harness. Rylee giggled as he did, her usual, quiet sound of almost relaxed happiness.
When Poppy rounded the corner, Rylee instantly noticed her, the colour draining from her face. She grabbed Batman up in her arms, gripping him quietly as she looked up form her seat on the ground at the older girl. The cat notice her change in mood and began to purr soothingly, rubbing his cheek against hers.

The girl was silent. So was Poppy. Her eyes darted from the cat, to the girl, to the cat and it went like that for a bit. It is not mine. It is not mine. It is not mine. It is not mine. It is not mine. It is not mine. It is not mine. It is not mine. It is not mine. It is not mine. That was the only thought that ran through her mind. She watched the feline purred against its owner. "Don't suppose that ain't yours is it?"
She let out another sigh. She felt a little jealous seeing the girl getting the comfort of her cat. If Coca-Cola was here, she could snuggled up with her. Unfortunately, instead of receiving the comfort her pet offered, Poppy must first search for her. "Do you think you have seen another cat around?"
