It was quiet early. She had left her dorm which she shared with Blair to take Batman for a quick walk. They had only gone a little way when Rylee's legs began to hurt. Sure it had been a few years since her operation, but she still walked with an awkward shuffle. The girl sat down below a tree, her cat leaping up and draping himself across her shoulders like a scarf, rubbung her cheek against hers.

Blair woke up with tears streaming down her face. She could not remember the last time she had a really bad dream--and remembered it. Feeling utterly miserable, she crept out of her room and into her roommate's for a little comfort. Rylee had become a close friend what with them sharing the same dorm for over three years now.

But she was not there--she must be out with Batman. Blair smiled. Batman the cat. Slipping on her jacket over her pajamas decided to take a walk as well. It was a sheer coincidence to come across her roommate then. She smiled down at Rylee. "Hiya. Mind if I join you, lass?"

Batman saw Blair coming before Rylee, meowing gently. Rylee looks up with a smile, waving gently as she gripped tighter on the lead attached to Batman to stop jim from leaping away. The gggirl nodded viciously at Blairs words. B-B-B-B-Bat-tm-m-man-n s-s-s-says h-h-h-h-hi. She smiled iver the meowing cat. Her maine coon did seem to like Blair alot.

Blair sat down, "Hi there, Batman." She stroked the cat's chin. "So why the early walk? A little chilly for my liking..." Sighing gently, she leaned against the tree trunk and closed her eyes. She inhaled deeply, enjoying the fresh air. "How have you been, Rylee?" She figured it was time to check on her friend. Focusing on someone else, always helped her forget own issues. In any case, she cared deeply for the smaller girl anyway.
