"I lock myself in a hotel room, Been waiting all night for the walls to move, I've loved some girls that I barely knew, I've made some friends, and I've lost some too...." Charity sang into a wooden spoon as she danced and grooved her way across her kitchen floor. Technically speaking, the floor belonged to both her and her husband. The ring hat should be on Charity's finger would've reminded her of that if she hadn't.... well, she thought she'd taken it off to do the whole baking thing, but we'll see how that works out in a bit. Right now, the important bit is that she's dancing around in her kitchen, singing "Cecilia and the Satellite" into a spoon.
"Crashed my car, I was seventeeeeeeen! My mother in the seat riding next to me. The things I've learned from a broken mirror. How a face can change when a heart knows fear!" Charity also happened to be dressed for lounging around the house: one of Toby's t-shirts draped loosely around her body while a pair of shorts (mostly invisible) covered her lower parts. Her hair had been twisted up into a loose pony to stay out of the batter while she grooved and danced and churned the batter. She sang to herself, mostly, though her voice was decent enough to sing for other people too.
As she turned, however, Charity saw her husband coming in. She pointed the spoon at him as she continued: "Through all the things my eyes have seen. The best by far is you. If I could flyyyyy," she did a dip then, "then I would knooooowwww."
Clearly even Tobias Croft couldn't stop his wife when she got going.
