For having the day off, it didn't really feel like a day off. Sure, Onnie had to stop by the school to get her class plans printed out and situated seeing how the immediate teacher wouldn't be in. Which meant she'd have to be a full on sub that next day... which would mean that she'd actually be teaching a whole class by herself. While it may have been nerve-wracking for most, Oneyka felt pretty confident that she'd do quite alright. If anything, she could just always take a breather and call Jack to get her spirits up again... in case a student managed to bring them down.
She doubted that would happen.
After all of that was done, she made a trip to the grocery store as she promised Heather that she'd do the shopping just as long as her best friend helped with the cooking. Which, if she remembered correctly, the first time they tried cooking... that ended up in a disaster. But then again, they were young high school students with no one to teach them how to cook. They were brought up in rich, proper homes that included maids and cooks of the such.
Now they were in their early twenties, taking on responsibilities like cooking and paying rent while trying to finish college.
It was amazing
Onnie somehow made it to the front door with at least six bags of groceries held in each arm. Sometimes keeping dance as a hobby paid off. Oneyka managed to lift her arm up just a bit, knocking at the door. "Heather!? Do you mind being a dear and opening the door!? I believe I've grabbed way more than I can manage."

It was a strange thing to most, using power metal to block out the cause of a headache, not the way most people would approach dealing with one, but Heather had tried her best to avoid asprin, and she still was having trouble blocking things out of her head from the night before when she'd spent most of the night working in the library. She really did need to get a little bit more fun in her life.
The redhead sighed at her own situation, got up from her bed, already fully clothed and began to brush her hair gently, still with headphones in. She was really lucky with her hair, it wasn't stubborn in the slightest, it just sort of worked for her, she brushed it, and it straightened out nicely. Some things could be put down to good genes she guessed. Not personality though. If her differences of opinion with her family were anything to show.
Heather felt her roommate before she heard her, or before the other girl even reached the door. She dropped her headphones on the desk and opened the door to her neatly, almost obsessively organised room. She barely ever noticed the smile creep onto her lips as she neared her roommate these days, it was just kind of something that happened without her attention on her best friend's emotions.
She heard Oneyka's request and responded with a grin. "I wonder who needs help, she sounds gorgeous." She exclaimed as she swung the door open smoothly. If you contrasted her to the shy girl that had met her roommate a few years prior to this, you would barely recognise her, apart from the smile.
She immediately grabbed a couple of the bags from Oney and let her through the door, still wearing a wide grin. "So, how was everything? Your day off doesn't seem to have panned out relaxingly." She observed with a empathetic tone.
